Flying to Korea for the Holy Week! Because of the widespread news about the lack of immigration officers, we were already at airport 4 hours before our flight.

It took an hour to get through check-in / baggage drop at 3AM. Immigration lines weren't so bad yet. Dining areas were quite crowded though because only limited shops were open so early in the morning. 128532

Jollibee and McDonald's was packed. Yellow Cab was open too. Too bad Pancake House wasn't. Oh well. 128533

AIRCON and LIGHTS. The airport looked so haunted despite the volume of people because of the poor lighting. Energy conservation's good but it was so HOT 128528 Do they have a timetable or something that they follow when to turn on the air conditioning?

Some toilets are well lit and better maintained while others are quite dirty with tissue paper all over. 128552 People, let's be courteous and keep the trash in the trash bin. There's one in every stall. Use it. Good thing they have bidets!

Apologies for the photo. I'm fine with taking pictures of my food but i don't think i have the confidence to take pictures of airports haha especially since i'm taking another solo trip.

I would like to commend singapore airlines for their "bracketing" in the waiting area. I think it's quite a smart thing to do and increases the compliance of lines during boarding.

While i'm typing this though, i am starting to perspire. It's quite hot! I think they just turned on the air conditioning. It's 5:50 pm btw.

That's it for now.

Arrived earlier (3PM) for our 7PM flight to Kalibo airport. 1-1/2hr Uber ride from San Mateo Rizal. No special lane at the entrance for Senior Citizens (grandmother) and PWD (mother), they both used the pushcart as their leverage. Easier for them to use.

Lots of food choices at 4F! Namely:
4/F Food Hall, NAIA 3
Ramen Nagi, Ka Tunying's Cafe, KFC, CAfe Mary Grace, Army Navy, Kaishu ChinaTang, Mongkok Bistro, Let's Chow, Tapa King, Lauro's Cafe, Chowking, Max's, Pizza Hut, Via Mare, Manoy Bicol
4th Floor:
McDonald's, Wendy's, Pure Nectar, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Kenny Roger's , Le Amoretti cafe & bar, Grand Kitchen, Raku, Pancake House, Shakey's, Jollibee, Kusina Filipino Cuisine, Yellow Cab, Dimsum n' Dumplings

Cebu Pacific has lane for Senior Citizen and PWD so we didnot need to wait for our turn and immediately processed our boarding pass and 2 wheelchairs. Easier access to everything 128513

There are power outlets available, unlimited WIFI (this is better that Phuket's and BKK's since there you need to encode your passport details and name for an hour of wifi use), LED TVs showing NBA games, was amazed that they now have BUS to plane service. Parang HK 128513 Maybe not good for senior and pwds since they need to use stairs before boarding 128522

My only concern was there were certain areas that were not allowed to enter without boarding pass, but is a shortcut to CebuPacific's counter, so senior citizens and PWD without wheelchair yet will have to walk again to the "entrance" area.

Flight 7:15PM was delayed from NAIA3 to Kalibo 128522

For someone who travels at least once a year, I was not aware that there were a lot of food places in the 4F of Terminal 3. Most fastfood chains are there together with some branded kiosks. It's cool that there are many places to choose from.

The restrooms are found on one end of the airport making it very hard to go there especially if you have so many luggages with you and you're alone. One thing I noticed also is that you can't just easily go back because the first area you'll enter after going to the restroom is the way to the departure gate or after the check-in counters. The guards usually check the boarding passes before letting you in. This will be very unfortunate if you haven't checked in or are just dropping off someone. The restrooms of this airport are dirty, for me. Almost the whole place is wet.

Haven't seen the new restaurants since I went straight to the boarding gate (web check in is so convenient)! Decent wifi speed through out the airport. The seats are aplenty. Everyone is guaranteed a seat. I even saw the maintenance staff hard at work scrubbing and cleaning the seats. Nice pasalubong shops and food kiosks. They still have a long way to go before we can say it is truly world class but hopefully it is a road they are willing to undertake until it comes to fruition.

I remember a time when this place was so spacious and didn't feel crowded at all, nowadays it feels like there are too many things going on. I don't understand why the escalators going down from the second floor have been blocked off but you can definitely ride the escalators going up. Flight gates always seems to change now as well, one minute you'll be by yourself waiting for your flight at a certain gate then an announcement sounds off and a barrage of irate passengers start rushing to where you were lonely just a second ago. This used to be my favorite airport to fly out from Manila but the recent addition of buildings and other things just make it feel really cramped now. At least "laglag bala" isn't a big issue anymore. The addition of new food shops is plus so you can get something to eat before you fly.

Back in manila. Finally pinoy food ba uli.

Few suggestions sa naia 3 natin. Since dito kami lagi natatapat pag byahe eh nakita ko pagbabago niya from a sleepy terminal sa pagiging busy, since the transfer of some airline naging super busy na din ito. Food stall suddenly increased in number, madami ng choice. Security mas mahigpit na.

Here we go...

1. Elevator please please improve naman, sa simple signage sa floor assignment wala. Super bagal pa.

2. More seats.... Sa lapag na nakaupo ang tao.

3. Maintain a clean airport always.

4. Ibalik ba sa MIA he he

Got here around 3am and surprised that many people were in the airport as early as 3am. Everything was smooth. From web check in at Cebu Pacific to bag drop off! 127890

Flight was on time yet! Thank you Cebu Pacific. Get ready for my Bacolod food trip and travel reviews 9992

What welcomed me on my long weekend trip is this long, unorganized line at PAL Express. It's been a year and half since my last stint at this airport so the long lines really surprised me. For starters, it wasn't organize and considering the number of people for this long weekend, it wasn't well managed.

I am impressed though with the facilities cause now that I get to roam around, I am happy with the food choices. Of course, airport prices but at least better food choices. Comfort rooms are clean, and the waiting area is comfortable with TV showing NBA games (as usual), enough seats for passengers and well ventilated area.

If only it gets wider, and maybe we can extend it a little further with more organized way for things, our airport ain't so bad at all.

Better options for eating at NAIA 3 nowadays... second floor pre departure area offers a lot of options aside from those near the gates. My fave spots are Army Navy, Mrs. Fields (inner most near gate 120/119 and not the one nearest the last security check area into gates section)... also like Esspressamente for the coffee (forget the sandwiches) ... in the pre departure restos there's mongkok. Starbucks, Wendy's (ground floor) and Burger King as well as there's a stall at the departure area which is called something like RAYA which offers the cheapest but best-tasting rice toppings (beef pares rocks!).

I like the fact they added a bookstore, phone jacket shop, travel shop, mini grocery, and a confectionery/sweet shop (The Cacoa Trees). Photo shows my son with M&M... not the rapper but the yellow candy covered peanut choco goodie. LOL

My last visit to this terminal was last May 2016 and back then there was no aircon! So it was a better stay yesterday while waiting for our flight since the aircon was functioning properly. Problem was... the escalators from the Arrival Floor (1F) to the second floor were under repair.... 128529 Not just one but two!!! It's such a hassle to have to go all the way to the end of the terminal for the elevators when you're alone and just carrying one luggage. But it's also inconvenient to be carrying the luggage up the stairs.

On the good side of things, I noticed that they had more food choices on the 4F prior to passing through immigration.

I have a flight to Tagbilaran today at 1pm and as usual there's a long queue of cars going to terminal 3. I am running late and one of my agents told me that she's gonna drop me off at T3. Little did I know it is because of pokemon go. One of the reasons why it would be ok for her to drive me that far is for her to be able to catch some pokemons. Lol.

Anyway, I arrived at Naia 2mins before my boarding time which is 12:28 but the cebpac agent informed me that they just did the last call. I've been in this situation before and I know that they would still let me in so I did what I had to do. After a few
Minutes I am already sitting comfortably in the plane. 128514

The airport is not crowded today maybe because it's rainy season and summer is also over. The plane took off at exactly 1:10pm.

I love this terminal compared to the other terminals of naia. It's big, nice, clean and it has fast wifi connection. Just lookin at it from afar gives me a different feeling... The longingness to travel.
