Good space to find some trees and quiet in the middle of the metro. Too bad they don't rent the nicest kubo by the lake (reserved for VIPs kuno... hay naku). I don't know why they renamed this place. It used to be the DENR/PAWB Lang... anyway, it still has open space but a bit confused as to what it wants to be (having added some monstrosities in the midst of natural things -- man made huts with canteen looking space, fake logs for one of the meeting/camping places... proof of lack of vision and planning)... but overall still a good space to walk, be quiet... they put a training center inside... doesn't look natural at all...

The huts and spaces by the lake are the best spots. Rehabilitating cages for birds and other wildlife is good but wish more info were posted or a more informative map was given to people who came in and wandered in.

Room for improvement... but hope they realize it is nature that is appealing and not the new buildings.

Today was the day! It was our scheduled pre nuptial shoot at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center at 7 AM today so good luck and exciting yay!

Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center is located at North Avenue, Quezon City, the corner going to Trinoma.

The center and park opens at around 6 in the morning. We arrived there after 6 and we went directly inside after we told the security guard that we'll go in for a pre nuptial shoot.

We went at the parking area and straight towards the Mindanao Avenue part of the park and had our first stop there. As there was an available table and bench there, we decided to have breakfast first and enjoy the sight, as seen in the photo, facing the water, the sky, the trees, nature can really be so pretty even at its simplest.

The park actually has a lot of beautiful areas for photo shoots --- from mixture of traditional and vintage looking houses that serve as cottages to pathways and walkways filled with tall trees to bridges and forest looking spots, the park can really be a nice place for photo shoots because its space and areas can make it feel like you're actually somewhere else.

With its bigness, it's actually hard to find some needed areas like the comfort rooms and food stations which are actually far from each other. The food stations do not sell that much, only water, chips, and some snacks so if you want to stay longer in the area and do some picnic, better bring food for yourself and group. The comfort rooms were just fine. I guess they should add more.

The park also has a Garden of Paradise Make-Up Room. This is actually a big room that groups can rent for a number of hours if you need to use some electricity to retouch and all. For 150php, you can stay there for an hour, and the room is well ventilated enough to save you from heat stroke.

Every Sundays, there's a mini market that sells a lot of vegetables and organic drinks that's actually a hit for the oldies too.

While we were strolling, there were a lot of groups doing photo shoots, families having their picnics and just strolling, enjoying the place. Despite the crazy heat, a lot of people's enjoying the place and better be there at an early time to make the most out of it.

It's a nice place to be close to nature... I think I find this place nice due to its unexpected location in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city... For a minimal fee, you can walk around and enjoy both flora and fauna... It's a great alternative to going to the mall, it's a place to teach kids about plants and birds and animals... Maintenance is a bit of an issue... Just try not to use the bathroom while you are here!128513

This is a place I visit when in the mood to relax. Admission is P8 per person which is excellent value for somewhere that it is easy to stay all day.

It is ideal for picnics and there is plenty of room for children to run about in a natural environment.

It is primarily a preservation area for Philippine Biodiversity but it has so much besides. You can walk among the trees and many of them are labeled with the name of the species. There is a man made lake. There are areas where plants are cultivated. There is a large area where a number of civic societies have taken part in tree planting schemes. There are many native birds that cannot survive in the wild and are kept in large cages where the young are removed and returned to the wild.
There is a wildlife centre where sick and injured animals are treated and returned to the wild where possible.

Food and drinks are available next to the car park at the North Road entrance but if you don't like Filipino food, best you take food with you.

This is a large park area where very few people go so it is never crowded. I was referred by Rufina C to join the #loolooiPhone6giveaway!

We arrived at around 5PM. Too bad we didn't get to see the zoo, it's closed na kasi by 4PM. We roamed around the place and stayed longer at the lake area.

I enjoyed staying at the lake area. Just sitting on the bridge, watching the images of trees reflected on the water, and just wait for the sun to go down. It's quiet pa. 128077

The only sad thing is that there's trash on the part of the lake near the bridge. "We never change, do we? We never learn, do we?" 128532 —Coldplay 127926

The entrance fee for adults is P8 and P5 for students. So if you want to be somehow away from the noise and pollution of the busy city but don't want to spend much, you can just go here and relax for a while. The park closes at 6PM btw.

Not bad! Had a quick photo shoot and the place looks pretty nice. They where able to fairly maintain the place unlike before. Security was decent as well. Entrance fee is P8 and P15 for parking. Probably the best and cheapest place to have an outdoor photo shoot without going through the hassle of asking permission and paying a lot.

We went here before to have a nice picnic, and everything was nice; the entrance fee was cheap and everything, but sometimes it gets crowded in the nice spots and you see couples everywheeeeere. We also didn't get to see (real) animals, maybe because it was raining that time?

Wild Life, this park lives up to its name--truly wild! Was here on a Monday & saw a lot of high school student couples making out, hidden among the bushes & still in their uniforms! Punung puno ng kahayupan, ika nga. Tapos na ang Valentine's, HOY!

My folks used to bring us here when we were kids & I spent almost every year of my college life giving summer art classes to children here so it brings back tons of good memories. Sad to see that it has turned into a loveshack for most. Oh well.

We were still able to see some of the animals (the real ones!) & my li'l one enjoyed communing with nature even if the air felt more polluted. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll ever bring my li'l one back here.

Entrance fee is Php 8 per person & parking fee is Php 15.
