For a corporate event this weekend, I stayed at Nobu Hotel for a staycation. Not really stayed overnight though but was able to maximize the possible amenities except for the possible breakfast that's included in the package.

We had a delay in check in probably because it's a big corporate thing but the hassle is surreal. It's inconvenient and the lounge isn't well ventilated. So yeah that was a disappointment. Check in is at 3pm but we got ours at 4:00-ish. The room though is good! Two double beds that could fit four, really pretty and clean bath room except it does not have a bidet which is a big factor. There's complimentary bottled waters and fruits; cable TV and side tables. The hallway though kinda smells like smoke which isn't helpful at all. Our room also has a view of the pool outside which is really inviting. The wifi is also really good!! Very great connection all over the hotel and very efficient too!

The pool though we get to experience and enjoy. It's at least 5 feet deep; and they provide pool towels but you just have to return in after use. The pool is clean but smells a lot like chlorine has been accidentally poured there and a little salty. Which is really weird. But it's good for an afternoon dip.

Overall, it's a great stay! I would definitely recommend this for a staycation in the Metro!

Am a bit hesitant on checking in at Nobu Hotel. Somebody will
welcome you, get your baggages and give you a stub. You can go directly at the hotel registration. Hallway is a little bit narrow -- I was imagining of a small room.. But turned out their rooms are quite relaxing, clean, spacious. A set of fruit is waiting for you and two sets of bathrobes and pair of slippers. Hangers on the cabinets are enough for 2-3 days of your clothes.
Though I am expecting a bath tub on a premiere room, but there is none. 128543. Staffs are accommodating and friendly. Japanese dinner at their restaurant is a bit pricy but enjoyed it and the service. Must-have is their breakfast buffet! Not too many options but tasted very good. Try the Champorado Nobu style -love it! 10084️ Gym facility is also good, with high-tech equipment, free water and use of towels. Pool is at 1.2m high, again with free water drinks and use of towels. Checking out is easy and flawless. You can leave your baggages and in few minutes your closing transaction is done. This is a recommended hotel to stay. 128077🏼128077🏼

For my aunt's advance birthday celebration, we decided to spend it here. My aunt and I shared a room. Though I wasn't able to take a picture of the whole room + bathroom to show it to you guys but I swear, it's really beautiful. So Japanese-y. 127884 Loved how clean, simple, and "modern" our room was. And the restroom, ang ganda. #BathroomGoals! 128518128514 The toiletries are super complete. They even provide you with mouthwash. 128563128077🏼 The bed was big and super comfy. I had a really goood and comfortable and deep and relaxing sleep that night. Usually, my back would hurt especially when the pillows are soo thick and fluffy but surprisingly, my neck and back didn't hurt at all. It was sooo comforting! 128513128077🏼

Service was excellent, as well. Whenever we need anything, we just call and they bring it right away. The staffs are all nice and extra friendly, from the receptionist/reservation area up to the room service staffs. I was surprised when I asked for water, they gave us 6 bottles of mineral water!! Super generous. 128518128517

You really get to enjoy what you pay for. Worth the once in a while splurge. 128521128077🏼

The picture above is their deluxe room with a king size bed. The room is big enough for two. They have the most comfortable bed, pillows and comforter. I commend the reception desk for being courteous all the time. This hotel provides free wifi, free parking (but you have to take a shuttle to go back to the hotel because it is also the parking space for the casino guests), complimentary coffee and tea, bottled water and toiletries.

Aside from the fact that the place is so cool from the outside because of it's shiny gold exterior, the interior is really nice. They had fresh flowers at the lobby and their couches were really cozy. They have a big lobby which could accommodate a lot of guests which is good so nobody had to stand while waiting to get checked-in or to wait for something in general.

Nobu Hotel is just 1 out of the 3 hotels in the vicinity of City of dreams. A room with 2 double queen sized beds would cost around 9,000-12,000 pesos on a weekend. Weekday rates are cheaper. They also have bigger rooms to choose from but it's pricey, it could go from 12,000-30,000 pesos per room. You could actually email them and they will send you the rates for the specific dates you'd want to stay and for the kind of room too.

The room itself is very nice. The design of their room is very minimalistic. I love their beds and pillows. They have memory pillows which are very very comfortable, it feels like the bed and pillows are eating you as you lay down but in a relaxing kind of way. It will actually make you want to stay in bed all day if you want to unwind.

They have 3 swimming pools since there are 3 hotels in the area. They have a pool bar per pool. You could also chill and relax or eat around the pool area because the dining hall is just on the same floor and you can opt to eat either indoors or outdoors. They also have a bar where you could hang and grab a drink.

We had our breakfast buffet at Nobu, the food at the buffet was great but I just wish they have more variety to choose from.

Aside from having their own casino, they also have restaurants and shops which you could go to. They also have a foodcourt if you don't want to settle at any of the restaurant choices they have. There's also a night club where guests could hang out.

The best part of the place is DREAMPLAY!!!! I'm already old but this is what I enjoyed the most!! There's also a parade c/o the DreamPlay crew which goes around Nobu Hotel.

I'd really recommend staying at this place! 128077🏻 #12Days

The modern Japanese design of the hotel provides a soothing and relaxing ambiance. Tried to dine at the Nobu Restaurant for their popular Japanese cuisine but it only opens at night. We'll just have to go back then!

Upon entering the lobby of Nobu, you will immediately notice that the entire establishment carries a modern Japanese-inspired aesthetic.

Since Japanese culture revolves around nature, you’ll see wooden elements and flowers that bring the beauty of nature inside. Clean and uncluttered.

As you make your way to the room, you’ll pass through Nobu Hotel Manila’s dimly-lit hallways which pleasantly gives you that boutique feel. The Japanese inspiration goes all the way up the Nobu Deluxe Room from furnitures, fresh orchid to Japanese lanterns.

Upon entering Nobu Hotel Manila’s room, a beautiful created calligraphy wall design easily catches your attention. This inscription translates to Chi or flow of energy.

It has natural light coming from floor-to-ceiling windows, giving you a wonderful view of the outside as well as bathing your room with ample amount of sunlight.

Our room boasts of a dreamy king-sized bed, JBL docking station, writing desk, sofa and 47” LED cable TV with video on demand and Internet connection (wireless and LAN). The mini-bar refrigerator is stocked with premium Nobu Sake, Matsuhisa wine, UCC Coffee Blend and some other Japanese products.

Open the spacious closet and you’ll see 2 gorgeous robes. Probably the softest I have ever tried on in a hotel. I was also surprised to see cute slippers designed to look like traditional Japanese Geta sandals. It was absolutely comfy!

The bathroom is beautiful! You'll see a bamboo ladder for your towels, Japanese stool for that traditional onsen style feel when you take a bath. If you’re a fan of countertop sinks, you will be amazed as to how deep their wash basin is! And the illuminated mirror is love!

The open shower area in wall tiles is separated with wooden planks and glass from the toilet. I love that Nobu Hotel Manila has really strong water pressure!

So, has Nobu Hotel Manila lived up to its hype? If you ask me… Yes. Without a doubt.

We checked-in for the weekend to avail of their promo rates published in fb. I was pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade for free because they couldn't give us the 2 beds we requested. Indeed this is a luxury hotel, our room came with a sitting area that has a big sofa, a powder room and a huge LCD TV! The bedroom has another huge TV and a king size bed. The bathroom was so high-tech it scared the kids! The toilet bowl cover opened automatically when you go in! Well this is a Japanese themed hotel, you do expect a toilet with all amenities. 5-stars for the room! 1108811088110881108811088
The pool/garden area was great, the kids love the open space. As locals we check-in at hotels to swim and the pool did not disappoint, service was wonderful, they give you chilled bottled water in a small coleman cooler! Nice attention to detail. But I must warn you that they do count the number of people that will be swimming per room, max of 2 adults and 2 kids, my family is the perfect size so I have no worries.
Buffet breakfast is the reason why I only gave 4-stars, there's not much offering. The coffee was not strong enough for me.
Would still recommend this hotel to others because of its superb service, its the difference that luxury hotels offer and Nobu gave us excellent service. Comparing to other 5-stars that i stayed in.

The hotel room was a little small but very pretty and comfortable. We called room service and ordered the Wagyu Tapsilog. It was really tough - like tire rubber. This better not be the same experience you get the the restaurant! Grrr!

We were looking for a place to stay in Manila for the Holy Week break - then the credit card company timely sent in a promo for Nobu Hotel. Great timing - supposedly.

Nobu Hotel is a perfect example of what's nice and shiny on the outside but hides silly things on the inside.

Take note that their check-in time is 3pm. We arrived past 1 so we just decided to walk around. Saw the casinos, the restaurants, Dreamplay by Dreamworks. Then came 3pm, still no room! Maybe because I didn't get the cheapest room that's why after "demanding" for a room that they upgraded us to an "executive" room. As if it was a big diffrence, it's actually a room with the amenity view instead of the road side view.

When you get in the room - impressive! Really looks nice and new, I must commend the toilet - heated seat, in seat bidet, blower, the works. Even better than the one I've tried in Tokyo. Really modern with the 65" LED, safe, ref, and the view was pretty nice. Then you find these seemingly silly things 1x1.

1. The walls are made of wood and are hollow. You hear the other room pulling up the curtains and the water flowing through the pipes.

2. Asked for ice - a man came with a small Coleman cooler full of ice, then went in to fill the bucket. Not exactly what you'd expect for this place.

3. The wife told me that the seat of the loo was wet - since it was heated, I though it was condensation from the cooler room. But no, the ceiling had a leak! So bad that the wall's paint was bubbling up, water scaling down the wall. Water was even on the outlet where the loo was plugged in. Potential disaster waiting to happen.

On to better things, the breakfast was quite nice since it's a Japanese breakfast. Limited choices but nice to experience a Japanese style buffet. Had the burger and mozzarella sticks by the pool side restaurant and lounge and it was pretty good as well.

All in all, I should have spent my money instead on the Shangri La hotels. It would have been a better value for these Php15000 range and up rooms. It was a nice one off experience. Will not be back to stay, maybe just to have a nice meal.

The Nobu Hotel is something worth mentioning.

It has great rooms with great views, the friendliest staff and manager. The food was just as great as it smells and our stay was absolutely delightful. The hotel, in between two others, Crown and Hyatt (which are just as beautiful) is filled with things to do. From the casino to the pool to the mall. I'll be there again on the 26th of March 2015 and I'm excited to be treated once again like royalty after seeing how on time and diligent the staff are to fulfill your every need.

Also, praise to the hotel manager, Mr. Marlon. You're hotel is absolutely amazing.

How could you complain with a view like that greeting you from the window room? Welcome to Nobu Hotel - The same hotel that manages the casino in Las Vegas.

My Ninang got this room specifically because of the view and it was a genius idea. The pool side view with the glorious lights is just the perfect icing to an already wonderful room.

The room was only a deluxe room but it's more spacious than most rooms of other hotels. The washroom is huge too and you'd surely love the paintings on the wall. The bed is so soft you'd love to be married to it for a day.

Lobby before the elevator is small but well curated. but what stood out was the service. Since it was our first time visiting the hotel, the front desk personnel offered to go up with us to explain everything and give us a personal tour of the room. Now that's service.

Ps: for a premium priced hotel you would think there are always room but plan ahead as its always fully booked.

Pps: apparently De Niro is a part owner of the Nobu Resto, but not the casino itself. Intense Lang na he now owns a portion of Manila. Haha

Great room! Ask for the ones facing the pool. Feels like a bedroom should. Room amenities complete. If there's anything to nitpick about, it would be the crowded lobby during the afternoon (but i think it was just the number of people checking out/in on a saturday afternoon).

Would def stay again. 128077
