we almost left this restaurant when we were ordering. the cheese pizza wasn't available. then the onion rings wasn't available too. what else was there to order? they might as well close the resto. then the chef said he can cook cheese pizza if we were willing to wait for 10 minutes. so the cheese pizza 128077128077128077128077 arrived. I asked one of the servers where my cheeseburger pizza 128077128077128077128077 was. she said we didn't order any. I said we did then she asked the cashier and the cashier said yes. another reason not to go back. 128078128078128078

I was starving already so I wanted something quick but not fastfood. Good thing a friend recommended this place. Pizza slices are big and are available right away. They just reheat it upon ordering. I wanted some buffalo wings sana kaso it's too pricey for me (P350!). So I just got the buffalo chicken pizza instead. And some lemonade (spiked). I was already full halfway on my pizza. Drink did gave me a fizz a little bit. Place was quiet when we got there. Nice to just chill. Well, until families came pouring in. Anyway, I'll visit again when I'm craving for good pizza. 128077🏼

One of the best tasting pizza. I tasted it once, few years ago. And its the place that comes to mind when I was asked where ro dine when in BGC esp for quick orders.

Last week, after partying at Palace Pool Club, we are starving. So when Cel C asked me where to dine with quick serving, Nolita's the place I had in mind.

I had one of their best seller, its the grilled shrimp and pesto pizza. Their Pizza is quite big, once slice is P220 , but its really a huge one. I enjoyed it with Tabasco all over. For drinks, I had mojito watermelon. Its okay, not much alcohol

They had wide variety of flavors of pizza,( was able to taste Cel C's buffallo chicken pizza, which is also good but this one has bulk of toppings). Quite pricey but reasonable. Its delicious and big serving.

Nolita does not only have great pizza, they also have good salads! This is the mixed green salad, and at Php150 it is a great deal :)

...but perhaps not a lot of people go for it, because it took a lot longer to prepare than the take out slice of pizza. Lol. Still, at least there are alternatives to the carb-heavy menu.

No value for money, slow and below standard service. These were the thoughts that ran through my head (which I couldn't wait to write down as a review), when my friends and I had dinner in Nolita.

First off, the pizza slices were pricey. I ordered the cheese pizza which was the cheapest, at PHP120. Tasted like Sbarro pizza, which I could have gotten only at around PHP90. My friend ordered pepperoni which I liked better, as it wasn't that salty compared to other pizzas I've tasted of the same variant.

My friends were the ones who went to the cashier for our orders and it took them so long before they returned (queue wasn't that long) and before our orders were served. We also ordered buffalo wings: tasty, expensive, and also served late.

Another testament to the slow and sub-standard service: we had to get glasses of water ourselves, which was fine. However, they didn't have sufficient clean cups, so my friend had to request for one. One of the staff members went to our table to give the cup--without water. Understandable, but would have made us customers happier if she went the extra mile and already filled the cup with water, since she already passed by the area where the pitcher was located. To think there was a service fee charged to us?

Ambiance standpoint, nothing special. They had picnic style tables and uncomfortable chairs that didn't have backrests.

Only thing I liked was that the condiments were already on top of the table, so we didn't have to request anymore. With the rate things went, I'd bet it would have taken forever for them to serve those, upon request.

A friend of mine and I decided to go on a BGC food trip since we felt kinda upscale one weekend. We aimed for at least 4 stops but managed to visit two because my dear tummy wasn't cooperative that day.

Hello, Nolita!

This pizza place was our first stop (we were actually torn if we should dine in Sariwon or here but the cute interior won!) and we were really excited to order since we were really hungry as it was already past 2 p.m..

There were several pizza choices and this place does not just offer the usual pepperoni and cheese pizza. They have interesting ones such as Spinach and Artichoke Pizza, Cheeseburger, Chicken Parmesan and Wild Mushroom Walnut blue. They also have interesting drinks that have ginger in it but it was the Iced Dark Chocolate that caught my attention.

It took me and A a few minutes before we finally decided to order Spinach and Artichoke (PHP220), Wild Mushroom Walnut Blue (PHP250), and a glass of Iced Dark Chocolate (PHP160). I was tempted order more as I-just-must-order-more-than-one-dish but since it'll be a food trip, I hesitated.

Service was definitely quick as the pizza we ordered were all cooked already and just needed to be re-heated.

A and I took a slice of both pizzas and were silent for a while since we were really hungry. After a few more bites, we finally shared our thoughts about the pizzas.

My Spinach and Artichoke pizza was quite savory. The saltiness of the cheese and the rather tangy artichokes went well together. The spinach though didn’t have a strong taste as it was overpowered by the pesto. It was really good! However, the pizza seemed to be a bit too savory that my tastebuds grew tired of it fast! I suggest that you order two different flavors and share it with a friend. :)

The Wild Mushroom Walnut Blue on the other hand definitely had a lot of mushrooms… huge ones! The chewiness of the mushroom and the crunch of the walnuts made the texture of the pizza interesting but it did not kill the saltiness of the blue cheese. But A loved it so much that I just managed to get two itsy bitsy cuts from her slice!

The Iced Dark Chocolate on the other hand wasn’t really dark. It was quite sweet but still enjoyable. I just love that it was overflowing with chocolate powder. It somehow added texture but careful though as it could also make your throat itch.

Pizza for sharing, several interesting options, nice interior, I’d definitely go back for more! (Hope they'll clean the floor though.)

Spent time eating instead of catching up with friends. Their mouths were full of chika, mine with food.

Here's what i stuffed my face with:

Let me start with the cannoli. I agreed to meet here because i missed cannoli and ordered two pieces. One for me and the other one for me. But it felt absurd so i ended giving the other one away. I liked how the cannoli is crisp and light and the cream rich with chocolate chips bursting from each end sprinkled with pistachio. Although a good complement to the dessert, the fig on top wasn't my fave. Whatever that fruit was, it made me dislike the dessert. For P100, this dessert is worth it.

I wasn't in the mood for pizza, so i ordered the black olive pomodoro. This never disappoints only comforts. Fusili so good! It looks like you'll get bitin because of the bowl it comes in but is quite filling. P270

I grabbed a bottled of virgin rootbeer since i have tried it and it came in a twist tansan. A first for me. I still prefer the more carbonated ones as those are refreshing.

After a few hours, i wanted a plain cheese pizza. I was hoping to get the last slice but then these two maarte girls didn't order from the pizza dude and since they were ahead in line, they had dibs on the last two slices. Ugh! I had to wait for a new pizza, i could have changed my order nalang, they disn't need to cook another one. Besides the chicken parmesan looked inviting too. Kainis. I prefer cold pizzas than those newly cooked ones. The guy said 5 minutes, duuuuude. No kaya! He was apologetic after and i couldn't do anything about it. Hay.

Three stars, not coming back anytime soon.

I wasn't able to try this good-looking burger but I promise to come back and order it.

Warning: This is a super late review. Like 3yrs late.

I forgot what pizza flavor I chose / how it tasted like but you get it - it wasn't memorable (or maybe because it was 3yrs ago haha). I just remembered that I wasn't crazy about it contrary to the reviews I've read. I didn't like their cannoli either 128542 A second chance maybe? Haha

Celebrated my friends' 22nd birthday here last nightt! 127874127829

We had their carbonara pizza, chicken parmesan, and something else. Then some chicken wings and potato fries.

The pizza were okay but not that great the hit of the night would probably be the carbonara. Chicken wings were good! Nice kick to it. The fries were not fries and they were soggy not crisp. The sauces they served with it sucked.

We also had their spiked watermelon mojito it was good but the mint overpowered the drink it seemed like we were somewhat drinking diluted toothpaste.

Nolita.  The long lost sister of Nabokov's protagonist.   A lil literary reference for the kids.  I am referring to Lolita,  Vladimir Nabokov's novel and one of my favorite books.  Read it if you have time, a lil mental exercise wont hurt.

I've been to Nolita x number of times.  I like my pizza simple - the lesser the ingredients,  the better.  I'd usually pick cheese and vegetarian variant (with a lil anchovies on the side).  Me taking a liking on Nolita's artichoke pizza isn't a surprise.  Artichokes are awesome and alien like in appearance.  Pair that with spinach and you will gain Popeye-like strength after.  I tried almost all of their pizza variants except for cheese.  Now is the perfect time to try the classic.

I dunno how many types of cheese they used for the pie but who needs to know,  the taste is awesome.  Thin crust,  oozing with gooey cheese.   And yes,  the cheese layer is thicker than the crust.  Best paired with Dynamita hot sauce for a lil kick.

For a taste of Italy,  i ordered Cannoli.  These are Sicilian pastry desserts,  loosely translated as the little tube.  The tube shaped pastry is filled with sweet,  creamy usually containing Ricotta.

Nolita offers the classic Cannoli,  the tube is filled with creamy custard and drizzled with chopped pistachios.  It is the upscale version of Kumori's crone.  The custard is flavored with vanilla,  cinnamon,  orange extract and mascarpone cheese, topped with candied orange peel.  This is the best custard I've ever tasted,  semi-sweet,  creamy and a lil hint of tart.  The crunch of the pistachios blends well with the custard.

I'm giving Nolita five stars, it is the same pizza joint i fell in love with a couple of years back.  I like the food,  simple and flavorful .  And the place holds a special place in my heart.  I once had dinner with a friend here,  we sang our hearts out,  ate a lot of carbohydrates,  scrutinized the word usage of the kids on the other table,  held hands under the table pretending we're minors.

If you're craving for pizza and not sure what kind, go to Nolita as they have tons of pizza flavor choices. Awesome for a casual, laid-back Friday night.

We loved the Spinach&Artichoke and Sausage Mushroom Pepperoni Pizza. Skip the onion rings though, too much batter and a bit too salty.

Having lived in NYC for several years, I'd have to agree this place is pretty authentic. Whenever I have a pizza craving, this is my favorite place to go... My sons love it too!

I was craving for some Mac and cheese and my former supervisors from where I had my internship decided to eat at Nolita's. I ordered their Mac and Cheese (of course) and their potato fried or something. I skipped the typical order pizza at the pizza place. I wasn't disappointed because their mac and cheese had that gooey and creamy texture I was looking for.

What really makes a place great is the memories you make in it.

If you must argue, why not argue over potato chips?

Nolita had a variety of spices, we tried them over a challenge. Who can withstand hot sauce the most? Or as I call it #NolitaHotsauceChallege lol

We put a lot of tabasco sauce on one whole chip each. First one to drink water is a sissy or yeah, a loser. We also used, habanero sauce and chili peppers.

And yes, I won. 128541
