First timer here and I gotta love Nommu! I have been passing through this restaurant everytime not paying any attention to it. All I know is that it's just a restobar. Everytime I pass by it there are groups of people drinking outside. Until that night when I craved for Jap food (again!) and my friend Camille R suggested Nommu.

She was not yet done with work and since I am, I asked my officemate to come with me instead. So we went here and there I found my midnight Japfood haven! I was really dumbstruck at the realization that this was a Japanese establishment after all (heck the name dumba**!).

I was really longing for sashimi but when I opened the menu...I instantly craved for yakitori, tempura, gyoza...everything is mouth watering! But since there were only the 2 of us, we settled for a spicy tuna sashimi (salmon's not available that time) and a yakitori platter.

Oh my! The sashimi was a blast! Super delicious with the Jap mayo and all its toppings! And the yakitori platter was definitely a "putok-batok" with the grilled meat and quail eggs! Superb!!!

I wanna go 4 out of 5 stars here since I really am not a big fan of the place. The small restaurant is quite hot, probably something wrong with the airconditioning, and it really looks like a small beerhouse! But the happiness that this experience brought me made me change my mind and give it a perfect score instead. So go check it out. 10084

We're raving about their 1Liter Classic Margarita Buy 1 Get 1 promo on a weekday P550 + service charge. 1L is good for 2 and we got a little woozy after. Im glad the staff suggested it and we asked them to served it strong. Not the regular margarita from other bars 128523.

Free WIFI, staffs were very nice, accepts credit card just asked them in advance because they already printed our bill and im glad i got extra cash.

Bar closes at 2am weekday.

Thanks NOMMU BAR! We'll definitely hangout here more often! Haha

I remember having a magherita in this place with my college bff at 5pm. Hahaha. Funny this was , i think, the only bar that is open that early. And of course we were drunk early that night. Hahaha

Another chill night for me and my friends so we opt for some Japanese food and sake! 127843127862

Good thing they have this buy one take one on their cocktail drinks so for just 130-150 we got 4 drinks, good enough for the three of us.

I really liked their amaretto sour 128077 and out of curiosity, we tried their sake. It tasted like a bland rice wine but hits you fast! Haha or it's just me because i'm not so much of a drinker 128514

We also had their shrimp tempura, spicy sisig maki (the dip that comes with it was really spicy) and my all time fave, salmon sashimi. I was kind of disappointed with their version of sashimi because aside from it's small serving, the fish was bland and not so fresh 128532.

The place is small, my friends and i had a hard time conversing because other tables were too loud 128585

Their cocktails were way to sweet for me!!!128541 Like having diabetes later on! Haha. I gues because it's a happy hour promo, buy one take one cocktail thing, i caught them using tanduay mix something with my mojito. Talk about mouthwash taste.128563
But their food is all glory with the barbecues. It's all yummy perfect for a pulutan.
Will try their unli wine next time! Yup! They have one, i think it's every Sunday! Cheers!127863127863

I loved the food! I had the Miso Ramen and it was really good, especially since I had a cold that day and the soup warmed me up nicely! We had the spicy tuna sashimi and it was so good with the beer. My only problem was that the place was not a non-smoking area even though it was small. So when someone smoked inside, the smell immediately consumes the place. Hopefully, they can make separate areas for smoking and non-smoking customers.

Walking distance from my office, Nommu is the place to be if you want to hang out and drink. Happy hour starts at 6PM-10PM, buy one take one on all cocktails, pitchers included too. What a great deal! If you want to be tipsy in a snap, order their amaretto sour. They serve the best bar food. I recommend the following: sisig roll (so damn good), beef teppanyaki, tokwa't baboy, spicy tuna sashimi, chicken karaage and cheesesticks.

A good place to drink with friends. Small and intimate.
They serve good japanese and filipino fusion food/pulutan. Simple but good. What's on my order list:
Spicy tuna (my favorite)
Chicken karage
Tokwa't baboy
Beef on sizzling plate (sorry I forgot)
Cheese stick
Tempura.

Fairly priced and service is good.

For P180 chicken teriyaki don with miso soup---superb. Not bad. I was expecting the worst because its a small bar in morato. Forgeting its a japanese resto also. The crispy chicken strips really taste good and sweet while the miso soup soothes the japanese soup craving in me. I will definitely try other next time. Thanks AC for the reco. More beer please...128540
