Dropped by after early dinner for dessert at Nomnomnom in the Pos building.

As soon as I entered, I was greeted warmly. The servers were polite and quickly offered me a seat and their menu. The place was nice and quiet as usual. It's actually a good place to chill and you often have the entire place to yourself haha (at least during the late afternoon hours when i've been)

Now since I only wanted dessert, I happily ordered their mango crepe cake (120 pesos) and their pistachio sansrival (less than 100 pesos I think). I really liked the mango crepe cake. The entire cake was light but firm at the same time, from the way my fork effortlessly sliced through all the layers while keeping it intact to the taste of the mango bits mixed with the cream and the crepe layers (not too sweet! just right). However, the pistachio sansrival was a little too cloying for me after a while. I think the buttercream overloaded my taste buds and it became too sweet. Maybe if the layers were a bit more balanced, I'd appreciated it more.

Overall, would like to keep coming back for their mango crepe cake. 128540

Two in one review!!

I dined in at Nomnomnom again this past Tuesday. It's been a long time since I last set foot in it. The place looks the same: cozy and quaint with white wooden chairs and tables, pastel-colored framed images on the wall and their cute made-out-of-pages-of-a-book 3-d tree on one wall. I had their salmon with pasta aglio e olio. The dish was really good with the salmon and pasta complimenting each other although can get cloying after a while. Staff were nice and cheery. While I was here that past Tuesday, I decided to visit the place's instagram page and learned that they're gonna have another cake buffet this Saturday (Oct. 17). I knew about the last one but I wasn't able to go. 128546

So yesterday (Saturday), I sneaked out of work at lunch time to have some caaaaakkkkeee. I was expecting a line but surprisingly when I got there like a little before 12 noon, when they would start, I was the only one there for the cake buffet and it remained that way for an hour before 2 other people came in for it. I learned that during their last run, there was already a long line outside at 11 AM. I'm thinking maybe publicity was a bit under the radar this time around idk or maybe people got a bit lazy to go out since it was raining. Eitherways, had the spread all to myself!! Haha. I really enjoyed the mango crepe cake, strawberry short cake and the various cheese cakes. However, I think the caramel cake was too dry for me and the tres leches cake was just okay. Overall, I was able to sample all of their cake offerings (about 10) and it was super sulit for only 199 pesos. I hope they're gonna have another run soon so I can bring my friends. Cake is best shared! 127856127856127856

I dined in yesterday to take advantage of their cake buffet for P199. The cozy ambiance makes me at ease although I find their place a bit small, but that's fine. I love their Chicken Meatballs Pasta and very satisfied with the variety of cakes they offered. Good job!

This place is quite hidden since it its located in the top floor of POS building in Morato. If you're not familiar with the place, you might think its an apartment or something.

We've been here before and I remembered how much i loved their pasta and how affordable it was so, we decided to go here for our lunch.

I remembered ordering the aligue pasta before so I was kind craving for it.
I wanted to try something new sana and believe me, their menu is quite tempting! There are a lot of variety to choose from and not just pasta but rice dishes as well. Good thing my friend ordered something else and i got to taste some of his dish 128523 (he decided to go for the stuffed ravioli). I decided to stick to the aligue pasta hehe

The place looks cozy. One part of the wall is covered with pages from books. Admittedly, my heart kinda broke seeing those pages be made into wall paper. But im hoping its nothing interesting. Haha

Our ordered arrive 15mins later. The serving size is quite fair with their price point. The aligue pasta was so aromatic but i think they scrimp on the crabfat :( good thing its tasted quite the same.

I got to taste some of my friends ravioli and it was okay. I stil prefer my pasta :)

I love to try their rice dishes next time im here. I promise to steer away from my usual order haha

Pros:
-parking available
-cheap
-ok service
-wide variety of food

Cons:
-no wifi

since the bf and i were full, we opted to just munch on an appetizer and sip some soup while a friend was having her dinner. i was about to go to tomato kick but the waiter here offered their menu so we said why not try this place.

we had tokwa't tokwa and squashing pumpkin.

the pumpkin soup was creamy buy i like cerchio's better. the pumpkin was coarsely chopped and the consistency was not the usual when i have pumpkin soup. an okay dish since i can taste the sweet pumpkin and t'was not salty.

the tokwa't tokwa was crispy good. the fried tofu skin was good too. not sure if that was tofu skin cos i never had one. it looked like staked molo wrappers.

the interior was cool! wallpaper are book pages. waiters were nice and efficient.

food was served in a timely manner. i will come back.

Ordered:

- Sundried Pasta
- Pizza Margherita (in photo)
- Raspberry Iced Tea pitcher

Everything was delicious and more than enough for two people. Had to bring home the leftover pizza (which my brother happily gobbled up when I got home). 128077🏼

My first time to dine in this resto. Been hearing a lot of good reviews before. So I gave it a try.

Since I was there for merienda, I just got their Good Sisig Platter and Fried Ravioli (on picture). There was nothing very special in both dishes, actually. I did not read the menu well, I was expecting to see some pork bits in that sisig only to find out it's only fried tofu and the sili/jalapeno and some spices. 128542 I dint actually finish eating it.

The Fried Ravioli was okay. I liked the tomato and onion side dish which I combined with their mushroom something sauce on every bite of their ravioli.

The place was cozy and the interiors' color and setup was somewhat relaxing. Minus points for having no WiFi. Not much people were there during my visit, also. I wonder how the resto goes when more diners come? I saw only one waitress/server outside and other crew were inside cooking.

I'll see if I'll give it a visit next time. 128517

One of our happy foodie places 128525 Non-peak hours! The place was ours 128525

Had to set aside ultimate favorites && best sellers - tokwa't tokwa and lasagna (forever not getting the tinapa and kesong puti pizza bomba again) and tried something else.

FOUR PLAY
A huge serving of pita chips with four sides - salsa, hummus, moutabal and roasted garlic! Ahhhh I'm speechless. I went dip-crazy on this! 128525 We love how the garlic was chunky and soft on the inside. Toothpicks to get em out of the clove! Yeah!

NOM'S FRIED RAVIOLI
12 Fat pieces of ravioli for 200 - really?!? Such heavenly goodness 128525 Mmmm cheesy kangkong and mushroom is a solid match, I promise!

HOLOPAINEN SPECIAL
I had to pick this because I saw "Roasted tomatoes, and zucchini". Two other gardeny ingredients : Eggplant and bell pepper! A surprisingly delicious fusion of pasta with ACV!!! 128561 Pro-foodie tip: Add crushed pita chips for that extra crunchy sensation and texture! then take a bite from your ravioli 128524 *side comment : I would've made this in Zoodles though 128517

RASPBERRY ICED TEA
Didn't mind the tea that much, but raspberry is raspberry! Thank goodness it's not powdery.

THE STAFF
No complaints, our tummies were so happy 128518128525

THE PLACE
A little vintage haven.

I was looking for a comfortable place to stay at PO's since I'm waiting for my boyfriend to finish his errand and I'm so glad I picked this one. I had no idea they serve good food here 128531 My original plan was to have coffee but Josh insisted to stay for dinner. We had their Malinomnom pizza (they had me at tinapa 128525) and mushroom soup. Well I had squash soup in my mind the whole time but I stupidly and unknowingly uttered mushroom soup so imagine my surprise when it came to our table 128532 good thing it's delicious because it has a hint of pesto. 128522 Now, the pizzaaaa!!! Aaahhhh! Topped with tinapa and salted egg!! 128584128525 need I say more???

Had a quick and sudden late dinner with my sis here. It was actually our first time to try it out. The place was small but cozy enough. Food was unexpectedly heavenly and goood! Fell in love with their enchilada! Super yummy dish! Their onion rings were okay as well. Overall the place is great for those who wants to munch up with a "healthier" food opts. Thumbs up!

*backtracking* Burgundy brick walls, black lamp posts, a secret (?) elevator, french doors, rustic tables and chairs, hanging lights, book-page wallpaper, wooden figurines and decor - this is such a lovely place! It feels as if I just had dinner at an old family restaurant hidden in an alley. (Diagon alley? heehee)

Happy 1st of December! Had a great start of the month earlier this evening, and oh - the big plus? GO GREEN. Yep, not a trace of meat 128076

What we had :
128525 Tokwa't Tokwa
Fried to perfection, in two styles - one being the usual tokwa, and the holycowisthatreallytokwaormeat?!?! Great starter 128076

128525 Enchilada
This lasagna-looking masterpiece is just... ahhhh, insanely delicious! Flour tortilla filled with kangkong, cream and cheese topped with enchilada sauce. At first I thought, ohhh this must be spinach but no - it's kangkong! Melted golden cheese on top and crusty edges, smothered with sauce we looove 128524

128518 Mozarella Sticks
You'll never go wrong with mozarella sticks (unless excessively battered) The dips however, weren't that good. Pizza sauce was - mmmmm, salsa could've done the trick. Garlic-cream-something tasted like a milky dip. Thanks to me, dipping the moz sticks on enchilada sauce was brilliant! Yes? Yes, of course! heehee

128521 Pizza Bomba
A very creative twist to enhance the pizza experience! So we have the usual pizza, rolled pizza (or panizza as some would call it) and this - EL BOMBA. Went a little too adventurous in choosing Malinomnom (tinapa, kesong puti, red egg and onion) over Margherita. The onions were overpowering; could not distinguish mashed red eggs from kesong puti, and didn't taste a hint of tinapa at all. Tolerable, still.

Had a glass of malunggay iced tea, though a pitcher would be more preferrable next time because it's refreshingly good! (this is coming from a person who rarely-to-never orders drinks)

Noteworthy :
The place isn't very spacious but you'll enjoy the decor, the limited spacing between seats, and the fact that you are being wooed to be a veggie-foodie-convert (if you order things right)...but will return to thy meaty-ways once you step out of this spell-bound place. 10024

Giving it a 5 because of the overall first-time experience. When in doubt, ENCHILADA first.

++ The staff was friendly (helped us out in picking what drink to order, and took a pretty good photo of us too)

++ didn't have to wait that long. appetizer came in first, and the rest followed through

One of my fave places for comfort food. I’ve been here lots of times already, and it still hasn’t failed me in any way. 128077

The place is really cute. It’s got a homey, crafty design with bight lighting inside - great for your food shots and selfies, though not evident in the photo. Haha sorry, that's coz I sat outside. Had to filter it a bunch. 128540 I wish it were as big as the old branch somewhere on the corner of E. Rod, but I’m glad the food still tastes as great.

I split a 20 piece fried ravioli appetizer with two of my friends. I really liked it with a lot of the white sauce and salsa.

As for my main dish, I had the Baked Salmon with aglio olio pasta. I LOVED IT! Salmon is usually a good and tasty choice, but the parmesan and cream cheese baked on top made it extra special. The pasta was good, regular oil based pasta with a just the right amount of garlic. It wasn’t anything too special because the main highlight of the dish was really the salmon. They complemented each other really well. NOMNOMNOM. Happy food indeed! 128522

This time, we opted for something affordable and healthy! And after much persuasion to my dad and getting the buy-in of my siblings, we finally decided to give this a try!

What caught my eye was the refreshments - Malunggay with Calamansi Juice! And the rest followed through for each of us having our own choice of dish: Baked Salmon, Bechamel Mucho, Lemon Chicken Strips with Alfredo Sauce, Lemon Buttered Fish, Chicken Cacciatore, and Fried Ravioli. Guess what I got?

Salmon, of course! 10084128539 All the dishes were prepared fresh and servings are okay for their prices.

The place was quite "cute", which gives the cafe a more homey vibe. 128521

Overall, it was a good experience in promoting healthy lifestyle by eating vegetarian, hee hee. 128517

I ordered their Chicken meatball pasta and pizza. It takes 15-20mins. to deliver my food. While eating the pasta I noticed there are white worms from the meatballs. I call the waiter right away and he also saw the worms jumping, literally! He got my plate and brought to their kitchen. The waiter said he will change my pasta for a new one but I refuse because I don't want to wait again for 20mins and will not risk my health to eat that. Sorry it was a bad food experience here. I will never go back again. This is true. I didn't take a picture of this because the waiter begging me not to share this in public. But I'm also concern for the safety of other customers will eat here.

Still one of our favorite "healthy" places in QC!9786️ We got our usual, Fried Ravioli and tried something new like the Summer salad and the one in the photo (forgot the name sorry!128513) Summer salad was forgettable but the two were filling and delicious!1285169786️ I prefer their old location; the new one feels so commercial.

If this review was solely based on the interior of the restaurant then they're getting five shining stars from me. The book pages wallpaper is a genius idea and the chandelier is just beautiful.

The food was just okay. I was expecting better since the place was already hyped up by some of my friends. I ordered the baked salmon which is topped with cream cheese and parmesan and served with the aglio olio pasta (chili garlic pasta). My friend and I ordered the mango crepe cake for dessert which I did not like! The mangoes weren't fresh anymore so there was an unpleasant taste that affected the palatability of the cake. Good thing we shared!
