Christmas is really serious business here in Cebu 128517 ..the establishments in the area are either closed or they are only open half a day. But the malls are business as usual..

So anyways, I've been ordering food via foodpanda. 9742

Tried their Beef Teriyaki & Tempura Bento Box.
It was okay. The beef was a bit dry but I love the tempura and maki 128149 I will probably try to order the sashimi and tempura next time 128521

Karaage bento and butayakiniku bento box, served with miso soup and fruits for PHP 250 each. Pretty decent price for a complete and delicious meal. However, bento boxes here are only available during lunch.

One thing i hate about was that waitresses kept on staring at us while we were having our lunch. Food's great though, so just don't mind them.

One of the best Japanese places in Metro Cebu. Love all their dishes here :-) ...

Today, I got some California Maki, ebi tempura and my all time favorite gindara teriyaki coupled of course with a cup of Japanese fried rice and a pot of hot tea :-)

The gindara as always was cooked right. Light teriyaki not overwhelming the gindara taste. Tempura has the ebi at the right size meaning I can find it underneath all that tempura breading :-)
The California maki is the California maki .... :-) yum yum!! Burp! Burp!

Nice light Japanese dinner hehehehe ... Light in my standards :)

Best Udon I've ever tasted.

Tempura, Mushrooms, some veggies, and all other goodies made this udon awesome. I'm glad we gave it a try.

The place looks nice too. Unlike the other jap restos in the metro, this one's not localized / Americanized / foreignized / etc.

This reminds me of the movie I've watched recently, Rurouni Kenshin. Maybe it's because of the paper-ish windows? :p

Service was okay. I had to ask for my glass of water twice (seriously, what is it with water and Cebu?) Ever since we got here, we always had problems with water. lol

Overall, it was an authentic Japanese experience. 9996🇯🇵

This might be the best Japanese place in Cebu!

I ordered the Menchikatsu bento lunch set, which came with miso soup and fruits as dessert. All for only P250. Pretty cheap!

The ambiance in the AS Fortuna branch is better than the one in SM. If you have the time, visit this one instead. :)

Great place to eat Japanese food if you're in Cebu. 128077

Food quality and price comparable with Nihonbashitei in Makati.

They have wide selections of bento boxes and lunch set menus served with appetizer, miso soup and fruits. Price ranges from 250-300+.

Place has a dimly lit cozy ambiance. Waiters are really friendly. 128522

Authentic japanese restaurant serve fresh mackerel, salmon and tuna sashimi!!!if you just want to eat a light meal, this restaurant should be on your list... Nothing special in their menu but they served good food!!! Our usual orders are the raw fish above, gyoza and spider maki.. As for the agedashi tofu, i'd prefer kamameshi (for all tofu lovers, you should try it). I'm not a ramen/noodle person, but i liked their version of shoyu ramen....
