For me there are places to eat that are default choices. No matter how the service is, the food remains consistent. Northpark in ATC has held its spot for the longest time and service is always quick and reliable in this part of the Metro. No matter what time we dine in, we always get the same good food - Yang Chow Rice and Honey Garlic Spareribs. Its comfort for non weight watchers. Soup and house tea always complimentary. The place is in need of an overhaul, its quite dingy and lighting a bit outdated but nothing to worry much about. A must for my family if Pancake House is full.

It's not the same anymore -- not how it used to be and how I remember their food to taste. 128561 I was really excited to eat here again. I've been dreaming about their toasted noodles and yang chow rice for the past couple of weeks and sadly, what supposed to be a good happy meal turned into a meh dinner. 128528

The place was really full when we arrived, we had to wait for almost 20mins for our table. Also, it's noisy inside and the place doesn't look maintained. Parang ang dumi dumi. 128563

We already know what we want so we ordered right away. Though servers were a lot and they're everywhere, getting their attention was super hard. I was already raising my hands really high just so they'll see it but nope. Parang umiiwas ng tingin para di sila matawag! 128529 Kung di mo pa tatawagin ng malakas or kakalabitin, di ka pa papansinin. 128552

So we ordered and waited for our meals. Waiting time was around 10-20mins.

We got the toasted noodles, salt & pepper spareribs, sweet & sour fish fillet, and yang chow fried rice.

They were all just okay. The noodles was extra bland with way too many mushrooms. The spareribs was dry and tough. Fish fillet was good but the piece I got was 70% breading, 10% air/space, and 20% fish. 128552128546 Yang chow was also good but it wasn't that loaded with toppings anymore. It felt sad and lacking. 128528

Service was bad. Really bad. There were a lot of servers, as mentioned above, but lutang naman. 128528 we would ask for water refills or condiments but they will just pretend not to hear or notice us. Uwing uwi na ata sila. 128546 And instead of refilling our glasses, they will just give us with new ones so naiipon lang lahat sa table. 128527

I hope this is just a very bad day and they're still the same as before. If not, I hope they do something about it.

The fried dumpling were soo good, I ate almost all of it haha! The liempo was cooked well and the skin was so crispy. We also tried the jellyfish with century egg salad; Hubby Ron H enjoyed it but me- I didn't like the texture of the jellyfish because it feels like eating something slimy 128514 The squid tastes like full of breading. While the chicken tastes like Savory's chicken. 128529

The place was jampacked (we went there for Saturday dinner) so if you're planning to dine in for dinner, better make a reservation or come in early 128556

It's not the first time I ate here. As far as I remember North Park has been here waaayy before but recently with the many restaurants popping up, I think North Park deserves the publicity.

What I likes about this place is there food. It's nothing fancy, especially compared to all the lther high class Chinese restaurants out there but It's pretty much value for your money in this restaurant. Noteworthy stuff: Beancurd with Mushrooms and Shanghai Rolls. Their Shanghai rolls are pretty legit despite the fact that it would give you the impression of processed meat. Processed meat or not though, they're pretty good. The inside is pretty chewy while it's wrapping is pretty crunchy with the toasted sesame seeds and all. The Beancurd is just so good! I don't even know where to but a similar dish.

The negative part is there cleanliness. There was a strange smell in the restaurant. I don't known if it was just me or I think it vaguely reminded me of sweaty feet. The free soup that you get before the meal is kind of disgusting as well but I have to give them props because they actually serve house tea. Also, it takes a while for tables to be cleaned so meh.

Despite the disappointing hygiene I'd still go back. That's how much I like the food there.

Noodles with everything. I don't know what exactly it is called and I think it's not in their menu.

Just ask for the noodles with everything on it.
Good for 2 person. It also comes with 2 bowls of soup.

Quick Review:
So me and my fam had lunch here awhile ago. We've been here several times already since quick service by this branch has been consistent in our case. 9786

What we ordered:
- 3 Kinds of Mushroom with Brocolli (Kailan) Leaves in Oyster Sauce
- North Park Special Toasted Noodles (NEVER FORGET TO ORDER THIS WHEN EATING HERE 128514128523)
- Yang Chow Fried Rice
- Boneless Honey Garlic Pork Spareribs
- Salted Garlic Squid
- Shanghai Spring Rolls

First time to try the spareribs and I love the fact that its sweet but not too sweet which is perfect for the meal. 128076

Everything else we ordered it before and they are still has the same delicious taste. Affordable price btw and worth going back to in ATC 128523

Other recommendations from this place: 128077
- Congee
- Vinegared Tofu

I used to enjoy North Park's Crispy Noodles so much so when hubby asked me what I wanted from their menu for him to take out and bring home, my mind was all for the Crispy Noodles.

Still the same salty and sweet sauce, crispy to soggy noodles and lots of toppings. Only problem were the mushrooms - TOO MUCH OF THEM in one order 128563 I struggled to get myself a decent amount of noodles each time. Anyhow, I still liked that it has a good portion of fish fillet but then again please - easy on the mushrooms 128514128514128514

Everytime i eat here, the first thing on my menu list would be their famous Lechon Macau because this one's really good! I'm eating more than what i intended and planned to eat because of this! Not really a fan of "rice" meals coz i am more of a bread/pizza/pasta person but this one's worthy of trying and indulging!128541

Quite disappointing food. We used to be regulars of this food chain but yesterday's latest try was a disappointment. Ordered Yangchow, roast platter and fried wanton. The rice was missing flavor while the chicken in the platter were also of no good taste. Fried wanton felt 'over fried'. Really not worth spending money for. Though we loved the almond milkshake we ordered, I know we won't be coming back to this place again. Better to try other Chinese food than this one.

This is the first time I liked the food at Northpark.

But first off, idk why but almost every northpark I've been has that similar bad smell when you walk in. i hate it.

So we got potstickers, soy chicken, lechon macau, and nanking beef noodles and others I didn't taste.

The potstickers were okay, I've had better.

Soy chicken in this branch were better than the past ones I've had. I really like the rich taste of ginger in there.

Nanking beef noodles, my staple order, I loved everything except the empress noodles. The beef melts in your mouth, the base is rich and savory but the noodles were like sticking together. 128078

Last but not the least, LECHON MACAU, per se I think it's bland but the sauce and the white vegetable in vinegar (I think it's radish Im not sure, I really dont know what it is 128557) taste great with it. It just blends so well.

Jenny has a bucket list of places to eat at before she leaves for Oman. One of these places was Northpark.

So yes, we ended up eating here despite the fact that we were full from the lunch we had at Pancake House.

We ordered the Stir Fry noodles. I usually order this too, but something was off...

There was no beef/pork strips, just one shiitake mushroom and two pieces of leafy greens.

What we got was sauce and a hell lot of canned mushrooms. Sadly, we didn't realize it early enough to send it back.

Ah well, at least we checked one thing off the list.

North Park is definitely my go-to take out place. I just love how good their food. In addition to the good food, you get a lot per order.

So much I can say for some restos who have the audacity to charge 400+ for a dish with mushrooms and garlic. Ahem!128586

Tonight we ordered the Crab Meat Fried Rice, the Beef and Broccoli Flower and Lemon Chicken. The Crab Meat fried rice was awesome! You could really taste crab and it was legit crab meat not just crabsticks. I also love how they have an option for the flowers or leaves when you order the beef with broccoli that's actually really smart! The lemon chicken is an old favorite and we never eat at North Park without ordering this dish.128076

Their delivery service was right on the dot was still steamy. Nothing to complain here. 128525

Serving of lemon chicken and squid were very small. The rice used in yangchow is of poor in quality. Service was good though.

My favorite Chinese go-to. Fried noodles, lechon macau, even their century eggs, I am a FAN. 9786 And it's very affordable 128522 The only downside is that there are so many people eating here. That's a justification that it's very good 128521
