Whenever I visit North Park, it’s always a must for me to order their Lechon Macau fried rice. When my order came, I’m kind of surprised that the serving was not as much as before. That’s okay since this is the first time that I was able to finish one order. Haha! The dish was just as oily (both the meat and the rice) as I expected it to be. I just didn’t eat the fat to lessen the guilt.

It's been a year since i last ate at North Park and damn i missed my all time favorite lechon kawali 128541 plus century egg with seaweed.

The other one is Ultimate noodles - all of the available toppings they offer from siomai to porkchop. That is worth the (295pesos)

Cherrie and I were looking for breakfast...a little research on the internet says that this is the #2 place in the metro to have "lugaw" ...and so we were off to try.

About 10 am, we were the first ones here! I guess best time to go as traffic on P.Guevarra gets awful.

We each had a shredded pork, century egg and Szechuan vegetable congee and a Taipao.

It took a while to get our order, but worth it.

They just reopened after a renovation. Placed looked better , but the noodles (prawn dumpling w 3 kinds of mushroom and aniseed beef tendon) were both sooo salty. Not a bit salty but really really salty. Very bad for one's health.

Thank goodness for their fresh lemonade. Felt a bit more balanced after finishing the glass of juice sans the syrup.

Free parking + decent chinese food = a reason to visit. Place is big and service is spotty. Portions are small (which makes it more expensive than one realizes) But food is not terrible. I guess one will get what one pays for.

Ate here for lunch last Friday. Not super clean here and the servings here were small. My mom and I had Nanking Beef and there was barely any beef... We also got an order of broccoli with oyster sauce. Hehe I love North Park but this branch disappointed me.. 128530

Post Valentine dinner with the family. Since my parents adore Chinese food and Mann Hann was packed (as usual), we just decided to dine here.

We had 2 orders of Stir fry beef broccoli flower, 2 orders of Lechon Macau, 2 orders of Yang Chow fried rice, 2 orders of regular-sized Nanking Beef Noodle Soup for 6 people. Plus, i had to get that famed asado pao for myself (TAKAW). Everything was delicious, just how Chinese food should be. No rants re: food.

But the service... Grrrr. First off, the place was packed so we had to wait. When we asked why they won't open the spacious second floor, they can't give us a clear answer. So many people were already waiting outside. #medyoinsensitive Finally, we got seated, then behold, they decided to open the second floor na grrr. Waiters were nowhere in sight, or if they were, they simply ignore. My mom had to shout, "order!" Because they won't acknowledge my hand gesture. Goodness.

But with the great food and considerable Sunday family fiasco, just -1 star. God, I'm so generous.

My family usually go there at around 12am. We often sit at the couch in front of their dispatch. What I dont like is that every time an item is ready to serve, servers take about 5 or more minutes before they dispatch the food. The dispatcher has to ring the bell a couple of times which makes it more annoying. Other servers are just inside the kitchen. The store doesnt have any music playing and guests could hear the staff chat and laugh from the kitchen.

On the positive note, their operating hours suits everyone's schedule because they are open until 2am. Yey for me. 128513

I like their Nanking Beef noodle soup and Boneless Honey Lemon Spareribs. I always choose Hong Kong noodles for my noodle soup.

It's still one of my mom's fave restaurants so we're surely coming back.
