Great food, great crew, great restaurant.

Product: I have to say, if I could I would eat the whole table. The food is so Asian and so delicious. We had Beef with Brocoli, Sweet and Sour Pork, and Shanghai Chicken. The chicken, cooked to perfection. Sweet and Sour, balanced and mixed with the right ingredients. And Beef with Brocoli, just what you keep coming back to. Their Siomai is also very original, does not taste like any other and their Yang Chow, I could just eat that all day and be happy.

Venue: It was a crowded place in a way that a lot of people are eating. So many people are waiting in line to get to their table but can you blame them? The food here is great. The best thing is their crew, professional.

I would definitely come back for more. Probably soon.

Still feeling under the weather and my appetite is somewhat affected. My doctor advised me that I should be on a soft, bland food diet until I feel better. I can only think of one food that's best eaten when you’re sick—congee.

I asked my dad if he can get me congee for lunch. He suggested we go and grab a quick lunch at North Park instead.

I ordered a small bowl of Fish Congee while he had a regular serving of Aniseed Beef Noodles. I was never a fan of congee because it’s usually tasteless and boring. This one surprisingly isn't. It wasn't bland even if I didn't add chili or any seasoning. I also liked the consistency of the rice congee coz it wasn't watery unlike others. It came with two fish fillets, a raw egg, and topped with wanton chips. Although, I noticed that the congee wasn't piping hot when it was served so the egg wasn't cooked properly. Light portion was still pretty generous; I was able to share half of it to my dad.

Service was a bit slow. It was also hard to call the waiter's attention when I had to ask for an extra bowl or water refill.

Since Kanzhu left me craving for yang chow, we then again went to another Chinese restaurant a week after! And despite my monolid eyes, I am not Chinese.

We decided to eat here after we picked my dad from the airport. Good thing we didn't need to wait that long. The place was adorned with nice wood dividers which gives it a nice Chinese vibe.

We ordered their lechon macau, of course my favorite lemon chicken, some pechay thing, wanton soup which had 6 WANTON SIOMAIS! How generous is thaaaat! then their crispy noodle for my sister's birthday celeb and of course, THEIR YANG CHOW FRIED RICE. I ORDERED TWO BECAUSE, YES. CRAVINGS.

I really enjoyed their crispy noodles because it was plenty and had a lot of mushrooms, kikiams and what not going on and for only 166 pesos! And most of all I loved their yang chow fried rice! Their serving was definitely worth the 188php!

North Park is definitely my go-to Chinese restaurant. I love how affordable it is. When I checked our bill it was a little over 1600++ with some senior citizen deductions. YAY FOR SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNTS!

I hate rainy days. It was cold. And your shoes get wet. So what else should we do to make things better? Eat! :D

I really wanted to have ramen. Unfortunately, the fancy ramen shops were at SM Aura and we were too lazy to walk there because of the bad weather. So we ended up at North Park. And we were not disappointed!

On top was their ultimate noodle. Man, this is pot is huge! Almost like a small rice cooker bowl! If I could only post a video, this thing was served steaming hot and bubbling for a couple of minutes at our table :)

What's on the pot?

Noodles, which comes in several varieties (the default was HK style). It's topped with 2 types of dumplings, 2 pcs each. I'm not quite sure what they are but seemed like it was pork and wanton dumplings. We also have 2 pcs fried pork chop? (I found it sweet..like cinnamon. Maybe the batter?). And the best part, beef brisket with litid!! The star of the evening! All of these with thick soup and loads of shitake mushroom. The soup was like oyster sauce based, and depending on your preference, you can water it down with the clear broth served on a separate bowl.

The noodles were very thin, but nice and firm. Soup tasted like oyster sauce. The dumplings were okay. Pork chop was yeah, a pork chop hehe. Beef brisket was heavenly as always :) I gave the litid to bf and he seemed like he enjoyed it! This is good for sharing with 3 to 4 friends. Or me and him haha. It's super sulit at P 258, enough to warm yourself up this rainy season :)

P.S.

I hate their house tea :(

Minus one star - mahina ang ac, they cant adjust it kasi nakikicooperate daw sila sa pagconserve ng energy. For good cause but still a minus for me. Ang init na sobra e.

The place was just near the office so we better stay here and get noodles of our choice. Service was a bit slow - maybe because of our dining area was behind a divider. The food was just great as expected. Served hot and enticing. I love north park 10084️ North park will always stay in my heart. Lol

Whenever we wanted to be full and satisfied we usually dine here :)

Another family day with my sister from another dad&mom. Hihi. We've ordered the usual. Nanking beef regular, yangchow and to try something new, fried wonton.

When our order is about to be serve, there are these 3 ladies starring at us and the food that we've ordered, and maybe this is what theyre thinkin "antakaw nila, dalawa lang sila pero parang andame nilang inorder" and we were like "gutom kme, masarap kumaen!" Hahaha.

We were not talking anymore. Its like "galit galit muna" :D Another north park sesh! <3 <3 <3 Busog lusog.

If Spain has its Tapas, Italy has its deli and cheese, china has its cold cuts platter. Its a staple in every family dinners in Chinese restos, where its always nice to start somewhere to build an appetite. I know building an appetite isn't difficult, especially for Pinoys, but i still consider this plate of appetizers a very necessary launchpad in appreciating the complex tastes of century egg and Bilbao, steamed chicken and garlic sauce. Looking forward to my next trip here.

Ever the family favorite Chinese-food-near-market-market. Still has the best lemon chicken I've had. So naturally we ordered 2 of it, spicy squid and fried noodles along the yang chao staple. A nice way to end the weekend.

Very good chili sauce too!

Instead of my usual YangChow Rice and Sweet and Sour Pork, I decided to order some broccoli flowers with oyster sauce. When it came, urgh, broccolis felt like it's not even cooked! It was super hard and I had to steam it again128557 also, oyster sauce was not mixed. It's separated pala, you had to dip it or pour it yourself pa128563

Im not sure if you read my older review about my bad experience in north park delivery, but here's a short version of what happened: i ordered yangchow rice and sweet and sour pork. I requested them to hold the shrimp in my yangchow rice order because I'm allergic. When my orders came. There were shrimps in the yangchow. we asked them to replace the rice and they did, but they brought us burt rice. The third time we complained, they said they'll get back to me asap. We did not hear from them for like a month.

And so, we decided to call them and ask about the status of our replacement. Yes, even after a month, I still want my replacement.

We called their hotline, and they said the branch manager that cater our delivery, will call us in like 10minutes. The manager did call us and asked about what happened. After like 30minutes of arguing and talking about it, she came up with a solution, which is to give us 2 free yangchow rice, yay.

Good thing both yangchow rice have no shrimp ad not burnt.

Thank you north park. Kahit na #MedyoHassle :)) Still not giving them 5 stars. I'm counting the one month of waiting and having to be the one to call and ask for my replacement, as bad service.
