North park's beef noodle soup and asado siopao is comfort food. I love the complex meaty flavour of their beef soup base that is only achieved by being boiled for hours. The beef tendon is melt-in-your mouth, and is perfectly complemented by the al-dente egg noodles. Their siopao bun is light and fluffy. Two other favourite dishes are the pork siomai and lechon macau over fried rice. Food is reasonably priced and portions are generous.

Ps: This particular branch is a little bit dirty. The couch has seen better days, and the floor needs a good cleaning.

Shanghai Chicken, one of North Park's bestsellers was overcooked and dry.

The real issue with this place is like many places in Asia... They cater to malnourished midgets. I have nothing against midgets. But I myself, am not a midget. I don't fit in a trike. So when I order something that costs like 240 pesos I'd expect something closer to an American sized portion. Or at least justify the cost with better service or pleasant ambience.

This is one of the few franchises I know of that has their portion to ambiance to taste to service to price rating scoring low across the board. So we know about the portion, just look at the photo I posted comparing my hand to the little dinky plate that the honey lemon chicken was in. I couldn't get a photo when the plate had something on it because I accidentally snorted all of it through my nostril while looking for my magnifying glass. As for the ambience, I could barely even hear myself thanks to the super powered bass woofer in the air conditioner. Service? The flies visited our table more than our waiter did, which also hits on ambience. Almost had to bust out the Seinfeld tipping method. The Nanking beef noodles was so so, the soups are probably the best they have but they're overpriced for what they are. The garlic fried rice didn't taste as good as I cook. And I suck at cooking. Now for the expensive one, the honey lemon chicken. The taste was not bad, but the fact I could get the same thing for less than half price next door made the unfair pricing obvious. Heck, they even had less flies if any. But no, I'm an honorable man, I won't mention bonchon.

Good chinese food. I like the Ultimate Noodle which was a combination of mushrooms, shrimp dumplings, beef, and fried pork ribs. This is good for 2-3 persons at a reasonable price.

Whenever we eat at this restaurant, I would ALWAYS order their soybean drink because I like how theirs taste as compared to the ones being sold in groceries. That and because it tastes and feels more legit since it's super cold and in a glass 128514

But this branch and the one here in Antipolo didn't have it 128544 I recommend you guys try it though! Perfect for those lactose intolerant people like me!

Anyway our staple dish here is the Annesid(?) Beef Tendon with Herb noodles. The noodles are surprisingly really good and not icky at all of you judged it like I did. I could eat all of this (but I didn't lol)

We also ordered the salt&pepper squid which kind of lacks the pepper flavor but it was pretty okay since the squid is really thick and worth your money.

What I didn't like was their white chicken. Too oily!! We didn't even finish it :(

Yang chow fried rice, ultimate noodles, pork asado, sweet and sour fish, and chicken.

There were 12 of us and we ordered 6 rice and 3 each for the viand. 128540

The rice isn't as good as I recall. It was just plain rice mixed with carrots and green peas, and didn't taste special/different at all.128529

Their servings are quite small too. Only the chicken, half spring, was good for 3. The rest are just good for 2. 128542
