I so love the place and the food specially the shrimp keme (forgot the name) hahahaha

This is indeed a romeo and juliet place.

We went here with my boyfriend with his mom and sis. We enjoyed it.

We ordered sinigang na salmon, sizzling bicol express, tokwat baboy and brown rice. The food was okay but nothing really special. No MSG. The place was really nice and homey. It had both air-conditioned and al fresco dining areas. They even have a second floor.

I appreciate it that it was organic, thinking I was eating something healthy. I didn't mind if it was pricey, just as long as I'm getting quality food. This place failed to meet my expectations.

The bulalo had a soap like texture and the sisig felt like it had more fat than pig's ear.

The place was really homey. It had both al fresco and air-conditioned dining areas. They even have a second floor.

I expected them to have black or brown rice seeing that they were promoting healthy and organic food, but to my dismay, they had none.

You can really taste the pineapple in the Pininyang manok , but the parts that they served were a bit small. It's good to pair with rice since it has a lot of sauce, but it lacks thickness.

The grilled pusit and grilled tuna belly were amazing! It's cooked just right and the sauce that comes with it is just perfect!

The tortang talong just tasted normal. We ordered it just to have vegetables on our table to complete the meal :)

Don't forget to get the cucumber and lime pitcher! Refreshing! 10084

It's all organic baby, so I don't need to worry much after piggin' out. We loved all the food we tried especially the Sisig and Sinigang sa Miso. Fried Tawilis was also as good as Dencio's Tagaytay. We enjoyed our food that much that we stayed for dessert and their halo halo wasn't bad either. 128521

Disappointed! Hindi masarap ang food! Yellow rice too much turmeric!

FYI! Organic daw sila pero walang BROWN RICE! Tsk!!!

Yes the place was featured on major TV network but still media can always be deceiving. Ordered the famous crispy pata (P570), Kare Kare (P395), tawilis (P100), pork sisig (P260) and extra rice. Service was adequate but nothing memorable. The staff even gave us the wrong takeouts since our orders were still on the table.128514. Crispy pata was a challenge since it was too tough. We specifically mentioned that the Sisig be made crunchy but it wasn't. Tawilis was alright and kare kare was adequate but nothing spectacular about it. Overall, the lesson is not to believe anything you see on TV (or even ratings here since we all have different tastes and opinions). Place was well designed though this review would like to add.

The food was good and the place was really pretty, but it's quite expensive! Hahaha also, they do not issue receipts. My friends and I were waiting for one for around 15 minutes, but it never came. Hmm.

The organic based Filipino cuisine resto that made me want to go there again was at hand! Haha. This resto has a farm of their own which entices me to eat there.

With my mom and dad, we always order a pork/beef based, chicken based, veggie based and fish based dish. We ordered Lechon Kawali, Adobo Atay Balunbalunan ala carte, Ginataang Kalasaba at Sitaw, Crispy Tawilis and Rice (ALL ORGANIC!) and a Strawberry Shake for me. Presentation was appealing and it compliments well with the taste. You can taste the freshness of every ingredient and flavor in every dish. Especially the STRAWBERRY SHAKE. 127827 Price was quite high but its worth the risk.

Will definitely go back there with my brothers and my uncle. 128522

With the Maginhawa/Teacher's village food strip in the spotlight and myself living in the same neighbourhood, I had to make sure to at least try them all once. Problem is... There's just way too many of them!

Searching for a non-crowded resto and potentially a comfort-food go-to place, we landed at Nuezca which serves mostly Filipino food, particularly Batangas specials (something I deduced) based on their menu.

We ordered bulalo, crispy fried tawilis ans pininyahanh manok.

Everything was to taste. Bulalo serving was good for 4, with lots of meat. Only downside was they wouldn't cater to our request to add more veggies - even if we pay extra.

Crispy tawilis was delicious and crispy that you can eat every single bite.

Pininyahang manok was also good, but serving was only good for 2 people and had more potatoes than chicken meat.

When we had our very satisfying fill, we ordered some Leche flan. It was very creamy and good that we decided to order more. Unfortunately they must've just finished a new batch that the new one they served us was warn and didn't taste as good.

All in all, food was good, satisfying and worth your money. We definitely a found comfort-food go-to place at Nuezca.

Lakwatsa Day!

Last Saturday we went to Maginhawa St. just to look around... until we saw this restaurant that offers organics foods.

Ordered:

Halo-halo P75 - nata de coco, leche flan, pinipig, sweet beans, banana, sago, jelly, 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream and organic milk.
This is only 110881108811088️ because the beans is hard and the ice is not fine as in may buo pa, very disturbing and it's also matabang.

Organic Pork Siomai 4 pcs P55 - I don't know if it's only me but I didn't like it. Well, knowing that it's organic I'll give it additional 11088️ but it's buhaghag and there's after taste. Additional 11088️ for presentation and 11088️ because my 2 year old nephew loved it.

Organic Leche Flan P85 - this is the hero of this review. It's smooth, made with organic eggs and milk plus right sweetness.

This restaurant got very good reviews in Zomato, but based on my experienced this only deserves my 311088️. Though I'm not closing my door, will go back and try their pasta and meals.

Love this cozy place that serves all organic, no MSG food. We ordered their organic bacon carbonara and stuffed chicken breast and we liked it. The things that we didn't like were their bread, it was hard and burnt 128539 plus their guyabano shake has crushed seeds that maybe they didn't take off before they put the guyabano fruit in their blender. Their strawberry shake was also bland (according to my friend coz I didn't get to taste it) 128540 Overall, I still enjoyed my visit.

This quaint and pretty restaurant is a new joint along the eat street, Maginhawa. It serves Filipino "lutong bahay style" food using organic ingredients. The place has both al fresco dining and an indoor air-conditioned area.

Our experience dining in this place was excellent. The food really tasted organic. As my friend put it, "everything tastes healthy". We tasted their Sinigang na Baboy, Calderetang Baka, Laing, Buffalo Style Chicken Tenders and Garlic Rice. They each tasted amazing. And the servings were ridiculously bigger than advised. I had to take some of them home. My family got to enjoy the leftovers, a good portion at that.

It is a restaurant on the pricier side but I think it was worth it. 128516

This resto was a big disappointment 128544
It took them45 mins before our food was served. Plus they missed one of our orders. The butterfly tilapia and lechon kawali lacks crunchiness and flavor. The sisig was sooo late to arrive. The garlic rice was bitter. They even ran out of bottomless ice tea to serve. It was a weekend so the place was full but they only have 3 servers for the whole place. Service here was sloppy. Never will make the mistake of coming back. 128544128544128544
