Getting to the lagoon wasn't easy. It tested our stamina and bravery. There wasn't any paved path yet so we had to go down the slippery slopes of the mountain to the sea. I don't know if we took the wrong trail because it took us a while to find the lagoon itself. We had to walk, swim and climb rocks before we could find it. All the trouble was worth it though. It's best to go there during low tide because you will be able to see the corals. We went there during high tide, and the Green Lagoon was deep, we didn't get to see its true beauty. However, there were small lagoons just on the other side of the rock formations that were shallow. If you really want adventure, going to the Nupa Green Lagoon is for you. Otherwise, you'd be better off visiting the other lagoons in Catanduanes.
