Always freshly cooked Takoyaki! I don't mind waiting because it's really worth it. Fried Outside and soft inside with real octopus bits. Even their Bacon variant is top notch! 128077🏻

Satisfactory. If you're looking for a takoyaki fix, this is okay. Wish it had more filling though!

After a dismal visit to TGI Friday's (see previous review), Ramon L and I decided to grab my favorite takoyaki at Octoboy. We ordered Octopus (3 pcs, Php 60), and Shrimp (3 pcs, Php 60). We were planning to have it right there and then, but decided to have it to go at the last minute.

We ate our takoyaki in the car, still happy with the quality even if it had already been a few minutes after it was served. I love Octoboy because they serve takoyaki as it should be -- large takoyaki balls with a crisp coating, but is soft and generous in filling on the inside. I also love how they use real shrimp and octopus pieces (because come on, there are stalls that serve takoyaki for cheaper, but they don't have octopus and more often than not, use crabstick instead). The takoyaki sauce is sort of bordering on too sweet for me, but I guess that's cos the lady put a little too much. Regardless, craving satisfied!

Until today, I didn't know that Octoboy served anything other than takoyaki (I have always wondered why their name is Octoboy Japanese Sizzling Pizza), but I guess that's cos I have only visited their Eastwood kiosk. I enjoy Kagura in Little Tokyo for okonomiyaki (as well as my maid's own version), but I am looking forward to going to their main stores to sample their other Japanese food!

I love their octopus takoyaki! This is the best takoyaki I have ever tasted in mu entire life. Everything else pales in comparison with this. The sauce, the texture and consistency of the takoyaki are all perfect. I love that Eastwood has its stall now so I don't have to go all the way to Morato to satisfy my Takoyaki cravings. This Takoyaki is something you just have to try! Thank you Marc David M for recommending this stall! I hope all of you guys get to check out their stall and try their Takoyaki if you haven't yet. It's soo goood! 128522128151128525128055

Expensive but worth it. Hindi pwedeng hindi ako dadaan dito whenever I am in Eastwood. This time I tried it with Extra Bonito Flakes. The flakes were a bit too bland to make a difference so I'll skip it next time. I ate 3 servings of different flavors before getting dinner at The adjacent Gerry's. 9996128513

Takoyaki is surprising good considering na ininit lang siya ni Ate. 128517

Love the one with octopus. 128523 I didn't taste the bacon in hubby's order. 128530 Sana lang kasama na talaga ang bonito flakes. Medyo mahal na if you're going to add that (P20) to your order.

This has got to be the BEST Takoyaki I've had since Samurai Foods at Rustan's Supermarket at Harrison Plaza in the 80s (as a little kid of course 9996128513). With all the Cheap Takoyaki sprouting on food carts everywhere, nothing comes close to this one, not even Samurai Foods. It's a bit expensive but it's totally worth it. 128077128077128077

This is the BEST TAKOYAKI I've ever tasted. Though I am not sure how the authentic Japanese Takoyaki taste like, but I'm pretty sure that this one is close enough!

Suggested by my officemates, Octoboy offers three different flavors of takoyaki - Octopus, Bacon (oh yes!), and Shrimp. Three pieces of takoyaki is 60 pesos. Not bad! Also, they have tables around the area so you can dine in there. If you want Bonito Flakes, you can add 20 pesos.

Among the three, I love the Bacon so much! Its mild salty flavor is a good match with the sweet takoyaki sauce. 128077

Served cold, not much flavor and IMHO overpriced (php60 for 3 pieces). I have no idea what everyone is raving about. Muffy T, you had me fooled. Tsk tsk.

MIGHT try again if free. Haha
