Off the Grill is a nice place, there is a Pokestop smack in the resto, but the food is horrible. I have never eaten cheesesticks so sad in my life. You have to drink expensive wine or lots of beer to totally miss out how bland the food is. The place is nice, mind you, it's surprisingly spacious inside. Service is okay and the servers were resourceful enough when we requested kuya to produce something sweet (he got those monde cupcakes and put whipped cream and candle) for our friend's birthday. Props to him for that! The appetizer platter in this photo shows cheesesticks, wedges with powdered cheese, onion rings, buffalo wings, and veggie sticks. Veggie sticks were the first off the plate. Either my friends were vegetarians or actions speak louder than words - food is bad. So we just drank more so we can eat the other items. Wedges were tolerable, you can never go wrong with potatoes!

It's a so-so place. You get music and a Pokestop at a reasonable price.

We went here last October 31 to meet my friend's friends. Aside from getting a cup of coffee, drinking alcohol is good in terms of catching up with friends. My cousin and I accompanied a friend from U.S since she's not familiar with the places here in the Metro.

We were a group of 7 and ordered 2 buckets of San Mig Light upln seatjng and American Platter for "pulutan".
I only ate veggies on the platter because the rest of the food were oily. We had pork sisig as well, it's so-so. We had their Nachos Supreme and it's terrible/boring; Ketchup was used instead of salsa, not cheesy enough and the ground beef were tough.

The show was good and the performers were very interactive with the crowd. I didn't like the choice of songs of the band except if it's requested. The second group are dancers from different groups before like Wowowie Girls, EB Babes etc. They were using auto-tune microphones/system while singing; they called their group as Sassy Girls. Entertainment wise, it's great coz the crowd went wild when they walked in the stage wearing their skimpy outfits showing off their goodies? Lol 128561

The service was bad because it took 5 waiters for them to hand us the menu to order another pulutan. And after I paid the bill, I do have a change of 530php. My change came and it's only 430 but when I checked it again the 100 peso bill was placed under the receipt. I dunno if it's intentional but I felt bad for the waiter by doing so. He didn't left (tho the place was still busy) until I placed my tip on the table and the waiter immediately grab it eventho were still standing up from our chairs. Oh boy!

I won't go back here again. Argh!

Birthday pancit is the best I must say! Sisig is tasty but nothings special i think. Their platter is not "sulit". But their staffs are great 128521128522

I'm not the type who gushes over bands but I can appreciate ones that sing what I like.

Last Friday, we went to Quezon City but didn't exactly have any concrete plans so we ended up going to Off-the-Grill thinking that the Mocha Girls will be performing (Please don't judge me!).

When we went in, the receptionist told us that the Twisted Pair and P2BP will be performing. And since we didn't have anywhere else to go, we gave in.

We ordered bulalo and Crispy pata and both were more than okay.

What I loved most about the night was when the Twisted Pair was perfoming. They're a "chubby" duo singing all the 90's songs that I love (Twisted, Nice&Slow, My Boo, etc). Yeah, I'm a 90s baby 128541

The P2BP were just okay although 3 of the 4 ladies were very sexy (hehehehe!). I'd still go for PYT for that type of performance and i haven't watched any Mocha Girls show yet.

For Twisted Pair, I'd definitely go back. And I've been to off-the-grill several times already because we also used to watch another RnB band K-24/7, and the food there is not bad at all plus the drinks are inexpensive as compared to the clubs and other bars I go to. 128077

I've been actually hearing a lot about this place which indeed is unfamiliar to me. So one time when my housemates decided to have a night out which is unplanned, i hurriedly agreed to go with them.

As we enter the place.. i find it a bit eerie. It's not the way i expected it to be. Maybe because in my mind i was expecting it to be somewhat like Tides or Central Bar. or maybe because I'm not a fan of Music, it was never my thing. I can enjoy noise but not music.

Seeing their menu, it's more expensive than Tides and Central. So i was like in awe. But when the orders came.. it was a surprise.. their drinks are soooooo huge that i'm gonna drown my self!!! hahaha!

But what catches my eyes the most is the margarita!!! OMG! I was fascinated. It tastes good, or maybe because it was my favorite?? Hell, it's to die for!!!
