KTV 127926 The Old Bonifacio Grille

Last night, my friends from Pokemon Go community (Team RAVE - Valor Explorers) and I celebrated our 1st Christmas Party! It was all fun. We brought out our singing prowess at nagpataasan ng score. I got the highest score after the night ended which I expected. lol 128514

It was my first time there and I find the place pleasant. It's not hard to find and they have a good parking space. The location looks safe. I didn't notice any suspicious looking individual around the area.

The KTV room is big and spacious. There was a problem with the sound system where we have to move to another room and they were able to fix issue right away. So, walang hassle. You control the temperature inside the room which is convenient. You don't have to call for assistance if it's too cold or warm. Super like!

The food were amazing! We had Crispy Pata, Sinigang na Baboy, Bulalo, Sizzling Sisig, 3 orders of Chicharon Bulaklak, 2 orders of Sizzling Tofu, Shrimp Ukoy Bites, Baby Back Ribs, Leche Flan, Caldereta, Lechon Kawali, 2 orders of Nachos, Mushroom Salpicao, Crispy Garlic Boneless Bangus, and Rice, and 3 buckets of Local Beer and a Tower of Blue Margarita. Our food was overflowing!

The service was great! They attended to what we needed. Two thumbs up! 128077🏻 128077🏻

I don't know how much the total bill because some contributed more. The most contributed 450 pesos and there's 15 of us.

It's been a long while since I last visited The Old Bonifacio Grille located at Sikap Street in Mandaluyong City.

This restaurant is one of the few ones in the area that doesn't serve fast food. They offer a variety of items in line with the following cuisines: Filipino, American, Italian, Arabian, and Mexican. They serve dishes for breakfast, lunch, merienda, dinner and even snacks for inuman sessions.

The exterior of the restaurant is very straightforward. With its logo that illustrates a fire to connote grilling to the very strong text type of the restaurant's name, it has this strong yet welcoming character. Upon entering, you'll feel easily at home given its simple and direct interior decors. The tables, chairs and lounges were mixed and matched well altogether so there's this sense of casual dining that's actually good for friends, families, workmates and even couples.

Aside from the dining area, they have a separate room for private parties where there's a karaoke so imagine singing your hearts out while enjoying good food and drinks all at the same time.

As a group of six girls, our orders were quite a lot. That's how hungry girls deal with work stress. Haha! As shown in the photos are their Grilled Chicken Barbeque and their Marinated Chicken Breast with Mozzarella and Mint. I wasn't able to take photos of the Sinigang na Hipon, Gambas, Porterhouse Steak, Tuna Belly and the Leche Flan.

All the items tasted really good but my favorites are as follow:

The Gambas was so delicious given its really spicy sauce that has sliced chili that really gave it that kick. The serving of the shrimps was generous too so it was good for sharing. This dish is good as a pulutan.

The Grilled Chicken Barbeque was sulit given the serving size of the chicken. It was tasty from the skin up to the meat and best paired with Java Rice. This dish is really a good meal for those who are really hungry and who wants to be full after a busy day outside.

The Marinated Chicken Breast with Mozzarella and Mint was yum too! The chicken breast was cooked to perfection and it was really tender and juicy. The toppings comprised of cheese, mint, tomatoes, olives and onions gave it more flavor that put everything so good together. This can actually be paired with some pasta and a good kind of wine.

The Leche Flan was really sulit given its price of P75. It was one full tray served for sharing with a group of people. It was milky and not too sweet. What I loved more about it was it was thick and you can really taste the perfect sweetness in it.

The Sinigang na Hipon, Tuna Belly and Porterhouse Steak were all good and served generously too. I also heard good reviews about their Nachos and Sisig so I will definitely come back here for those items.

The Old Bonifacio Grille is a good restaurant to hang out at Mandaluyong if you wanna find time to enjoy with your friends, families and officemates.

The Old Bonifacio Grille is one of the casual restaurants near our office. Late this afternoon, we had a meeting there, thus, that was snack time too!

Their Clubhouse Sandwich was really, really big and can be shared by almost 2-3 people. The four sandwich slices were paired with potato fries with Parmesan Cheese on top.

Each sandwich slice has fillings including scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers. The meat and vegetables altogether make it tastes like a complete meal already.

The only thing that I would never appreciate with this place is the presence of flies that bother you when you eat. Though I appreciate their effort on putting candles as table centerpieces to lessen the presence of these insects.

Something new came up! They started offering Make-Your-Own Mongolian Noodle Bowls a few months ago and I was able to try it with my officemates.

For the price of 150php and up, this offer is really affordable. You can make sure that your bowl is really filled with noodles, veggies, fish balls, and pork, along with the sauces that you want to flavour it with.

After doing so, just give the bowl to a waitress and they'll bring to your table your very own Mongolian Bowl.

The only concern of mine when I tried this was that they need to make sure that at all times, all the ingredients' bowls are filled as to not be a waste of time for those customers who are very pressed with their lunch break time.
