Availed the dealgrocer promo.

The room is spacious! It even has it's own bathtub inside but we felt a bit awkward to dip in because the masseuse might come inside lol. Place was very quiet and secure. Plus points because you can't hear the noise of the staff and other people being massaged.

Massage was okay. But I really find it off whenever they're trying to get rid of the nodes at my back. Like my other reviews, I feel it's just me who kinda dislike back massage. Very seldom that i like back massage hehehe.

Got the Deal Grocer voucher for a 90 minute massage. Lots of thoughts went through my head as the therapist kneaded the fat on my back:

1) How much did I pay again? Hope it's less than a thousand bucks, because it ain't worth more than that.

2) Ang bigat ng kamay ni ate. I should've just called my suking masahista.

3) Really? I missed the Ateneo La Salle game for this?
(Buti na lang talo)

While it's not bad, I've had better massages.

And to those expecting something like The Spa or Mandala, please lower expectations. There's no jacuzzi or steam room or anything of that sort. And the shower room doesn't have any decent toiletries.

With that said, I will wait for Neo Day Spa to go on Deal Grocer again because I am forever the cheapskate who loves nice things. 128540

I bought vouchers for a 90-minute massage at half the price around two weeks ago and redeemed the service within the same week. Olympia Spa is located at the first basement of Somerset Olympia along Makati Avenue, pretty much hidden from the rest of the world. I also never heard of the place from anywhere else so buying 700-peso vouchers for massages at this unknown place was pretty much a risk. I called in Saturday to make reservations for Sunday but they were actually fully booked so my friend and I went on a Monday.

Upon arriving we were made to choose from 3 different massage styles- 1) Relax - Swedish 2) Restore - Dry massage using Japanese techniques 3) Revigorate - A combination of both. We were also made to choose between two different oils. I chose the Relax while my friend chose Revigorate. We were then led to a private suite.

I was surpised because the place actually looked better in person than in the photos. The room had a bathtub, a shower, a toilet, a vanity complete with toiletries, and the bathrobes and towels were neatly kept in baskets on one side of the room. At this point I was already pretty impressed with the place.

Down to the most important part of the experience, I could say the massage was the best I’ve had by far. I have frequent massages at home via home service, have tried multiple spas (by also booking vouchers online, haha), and have even tried one of those ridiculously expensive massages at The Farm San Benito (thanks, Ma!) but this tops my list. The massage was thorough and the pressure was just right (if not too much at times, haha). I highly recommend my therapist, Dianne. My friend was also really satisfied with her massage.

We were served tea after our 90-minute massage and definitely left as happy customers! Just a few cons, the parking is not free, not even reasonably priced at the least. I had to pay around P70 for our short stay (less than 3 hours). Since the spa is also located at the basement, there were times we could hear noises/feel vibrations from the floor above such as carts rolling or cars passing. Overall the location is not so good, but I would definitely come back for the service.

If not for their tiny shower area, this place would be perfect. I love this place! My husband and I always book the female sauna and massage room for our exclusive use instead of the VIP room which only has bathtub. The massage is excellent. The sound of my neck and back popping and cracking feels like heaven. I always wish the massage would last forever.... If only they they had the facilities of The Spa :)
