There have been bad reviews for the place but on a weekend the service is good. Probably due to less people dining at night.

Sashimi and Maki is good.

Got the crazy maki plus torikatsudon which are tasty.

Funny though that when you ask for spoon and fork, you get the common spoon and fork that you can buy from divisoria. 🤣

We visited Omakase for lunch one Friday.

Food was good, the sushi boat and the maki platter was really filling. They have kani miso soup which is different from the usual haha!

What I can't forget here though is the bad service... Friday lunch, in the Makati CBD, can get pretty busy. When we got there, we were on the waiting list. But there was a high table available by the glass window near the door. I asked the waiter passing by if we could have that table, and he said that they're not using that table. 128528 It felt extra strange that they wouldn't use a table during such busy hours...

2nd time here to meet up old friends. It is still a great place to dine if you want to turn up and crave for Japonaise food. Can't remember what we have ordered as that night was full of chika and laughter. Place was packed as always. All I remember was the sushi boat that I almost finished by myself hahaha! I miss having this especially been away for a month with just Malaysian food to eat on the vessel. It was indeed nice to be back! 128522

25 June 2016

Had a super late lunch at Omakase Ayala Triangle. It's so weird to compare this branch to the one in Marikina. This one looks so dark and dreary. The one in Marikina is perkier and more "instagrammable".

We ordered American Dream, Tonkatsudon, and Teriyaki Don.

The American Dream looked and tasted differently before. I dunno. It had this weird aftertaste. It's not yucky but it's definitely hindering me from enjoying that maki.

The Tonkatsudon kind of reflected their interior. Dark and dreary. It looks like it was overcooked. But hungry me didn't really want to wait to have it replaced so I still went ahead and ate the damn thing. The sauce was the one that salvaged it. Without it, it tasted bland, and dry, and old.

The oh so reliable Teriyaki Don was the only one that tasted how it should have tasted.

A bad day always calls for a good sushi!!! I just love how near this branch is to my office!!! I can quickly grab a bite to turn my almost bad day to an instantly good one!!!

My mood earlier dictated me to have Mt. Fuji (P305) for lunch. It is deep fried tuna inside with unagi and cream cheese on top!!! It was insanely good!!! I loved how packed the roll was, sulit ang P305 ko!!! 10084

I had take out lunch so excuse the bad photos 128517

First time to dine here with friends. Early bird so stayed for a bit in Family mart. But was advised by my friend that this place was busy especially during lunch time so might as well reserve a table for us.

So off I went and yeh, at quarter to 12nn place was packed. Still thankful was able to reserved seats. Must be good food.

So while waiting, ordered the roll platter. Forgot it's name already but boy it was sooo gooood. Just for the platter, empty stomach would be so full. But still we ordered their tonkantsudon and salmon rice. Wasn't able to finish but our friends to the rescue haha! Also ordered salmon sashimi and ebi tempura. It was a good dining experience except for the part that it took 15-20 mins for food to arrive bjt worth the wait I must say.

Wanna go back here to try other menus which I was looking at on other tables. Must be yummy too! 128522

Long lines, so you need to be here early. Need to call the attention of the waiter/s for the nth time to follow up our order. The place is quite dim. We ordered tonkotsu and torikatsudon. Good food but poor service. Took 20 mins to give the bill.

Good food plus lovely ambience!

What I like about this place is the lights, colors and music! Once you enter the resaturant, it's really calm. And the food? Oooohhh! Authentic Japanese it is. The waitress said that it's gonna be served after 15-20mins but actually it didn't take that long (considering it wasn't too busy tho) and we had are tummies filled with authentic Japanese food already!

Tha price? It's just right for the quality/quantity of food they serve!

Went here for a lunchout with my ex-officemates. We ordered a basket of shrimp tempura (8 pcs) but the size of the shrimp was small. We also ordered chicken teppan although i think it was a bit dry. For maki we ordered the american dream which was really delicious and was worth the price.

Service was poor though had to follow up several times for water refill and for the bill.

Advance Happy Birthday Dinner Treat 127874127881127882

Bernard and I decided to eat some Japanese food instead of French and Italian cuisine today. 127884127857127886

The place was good, located at Ayala Triangle. The staffs were friendly. They accommodate us well.

Our order took us, maybe a couple of minutes, didn't mind the time because it's Japanese cuisine. I expect it will cost some time for them to prepare. The price is average and reasonable.

For the food, we ordered:

Seafood Dumplings (180 php) - tastes good! Not an ordinary dumpling because of the sauce.

Katsudon (190 php) - which is wrong because Bernard wants Tonkatsudon, there's a miss communication; anyway, they asked us to check our order first, so our fault.

Mr. Fuji Roll (305 php) - we loved the taste of Tuna with cream cheese.

Raspberry Tea Bottomless (75 php) - normal sweet taste. The staffs are alert and checked if we want another round.

Btw, there's a service charge 128522 (73.57 php) It's for you to tip.

He said that this is the best compare to Sumo Sam. Definitely we will come back. 128131🏻

Spicy Tuna Salad after the longest time! They have the best one in the metro. Oh, and their dynamite roll is pretty amazing as well!

The only ramen on the menu was Shoyu with soy sauce, chicken and vegetable stock as its base. (Shoyu = Soy Sauce) The soup cradled my famished stomach in it's slightly salty yet refreshing taste. It's great for times when you skipped breakfast and you feel hungry at lunch but discover you've lost your appetite. It definitely warmed me up, the only leftover was the Chinese cabbage.

It's a welcome alternative to the grease filled go-to fast food ramen that is Yoshinoya.

The service was a-ok, we got served fast and the staff gave us what we need, when we needed it. This ramen has a special place in my heart and probably, also my pocket.

Shoyu Ramen (Php 195)

Last Friday, we decided to eat in Ayala Triangle instead of going to the nearest malls like Greenbelt and Glorietta.

Omakase is a must try restaurant in Ayala Triangle. There are different restaurants here like Kanin club, Simple Lang, Poco Deli, Pugon Roast, Cara Mia, Wee Nam Kee, etc. I already tried almost all of these, but if you opt for Japanese food, then go for Omakase.

The verdict:

The place is appropriate for any gathering, especially if you eat here with your friends.

I ordered Shoyu ramen because i want something hot. My sister ordered Dynamite Maki and Katsu Curry with Rice. Omakase offers sushi as well and variant of mixed tempura. Its my 4th time here and still satisfied with my orders.

The staff here are also kind and accommodating. There was one time that we celebrated my friend's bday and they help us surprise our friend with the cake that we bought outside and they didn't charge us for corkage. :-)

The price is average and reasonable.
Prepare Php 300 per head and you're solve!

Its one of my recommended Japanese Resto here in Makati.

-xoxo

It's been a while since I ate something Japanese that is non-ramen 128540 i had bacon roll, tempura, kani salad and vanilla ice cream with red beans!

I love the bacon roll and vanilla ice cream! Both are really good 9786️ but the kani salad was drowning in Japanese mayo- it was really annoying! Qnd the tempura was really dry and small 128527

The sauce of the steak is savory too! The tofu steak has a layer of meat (?) which was good, iwas umay! 128523
