Service was fast. I ate dinner at around 9pm. Staff were okay.
The best seller American Dream is still the best! At P215 pesos only. Katsudon was katsudon (P190) not great but it was good.128512

Salmon yumminess at Omakase SM Paranaque branch. Good service here, when we left an attendant ran to us to give my sister her alcohol which can she left. That's nice.

My new go to Japanese resto, it serves quality Japanese food. I super liked their american dream roll it's a bit cheesy and not to salty though their pork tonkatsu with rice was too sweet. Service was great! 128522 When you're craving for Japanese food and you wanna get your money's worth... go go go to Omakase! 128077

A lot of people have been telling me to visit this place.
So here we go:

I ordered the Omakase Salad (which was their version of Kani Salad, only with sliced tomato on the side, which I thought was pretty weird).
I ordered the Dynamite Roll, and it was good. I thought the serving was generous for the price.
I ordered the Sashimi Platter (I think that's what it's called?) and again, it was more than enough, I thought the seafood was fresh.

Overall, I would definitely go back to this place.
Good food at a good price.

I really hate how Omakase Libis closed down already! We have to go all the way to Greenhills from Katipunan just to get our Omakase fix (we went after school ended), because Ramon L would rather go there than in their Marikina branch because he isn't very familiar with the area.

We were a bit surprised when we walked from the bridge way, the entrance is gone (and a new Chinese restaurant is opening up beside them), but the sign was still up when we passed by while on our way to the parking lot. I started panicking and told Ramon that we should check it out from the first floor, but luckily he saw a signboard of Omakase's menu. We walked towards the parking lot and found an entrance from there. Phew! The waiter later explained that they moved the function room downstairs so they closed the entrance up front.

We started with the Crazy Maki (Php 195) which is my favorite sushi here. Ramon got his usual Katsudon (Php 190), while I finally let my curiosity get the better of me and ordered the Uni Tempura (Php 240).

The Crazy Maki is a combination of spicy tuna and salmon on the inside, and rolled on finely chopped scallion, salmon skin, and ebiko on the outside. I love dipping this in their signature sauce (a mixture of Japanese mayo and soy sauce), but I also enjoy the regular soy sauce and wasabi mix.

Ramon loves Katsudon, so it's his staple order whenever he's at a Japanese restaurant (unless otherwise stated, lol!). I don't like it as much though, because I don't like how soggy the sauce makes the pork. I prefer my deep fried anything to be crispy, not soggy! I did like Omakase's though because the sauce was really good, too. The serving was generous, and even if we shared it, it was enough for us (or me?) already.

In most of my visits to Japanese restaurants, I am often intrigued by uni that is served in another way other than sushi or sashimi. With a mix of reluctance and excitement, Ramon and I ordered it... My first bite alone was such a disappointment that I only forced myself to finish a piece because I didn't want to waste food and money. They put a serving of uni on a sheet of nori, then made it into a triangular shape before deep frying it. This is exactly what I hate about tempura (as mentioned in my G Squared Palutuan review) -- it just tastes oily! At least now I know what it tastes like and will never order it again!

When you're craving for Japanese food and get your money's worth.. Go to Omakase! I liked everything we ordered 128513 but I loved the spicy tuna salad the most! Yun Lang.. I'm good na! 128077 I'm craving for it already as I type this review. Actually, the Spicy Tuna Salad alone is heavy na 128513

I like their Dynamite Roll and American Dream. Both makis are very very filling! 128517 if you like something spicy that explodes into your mouth, try the Dynamite roll. Parang ang bastos Lang nung sinabi ko 128514 anyway, The American Dream is good for those who don't like anything spicy. 128077

I'll definitely go back to this place and try their other makis next time 128513 and of course get the spicy tuna salad 128516

Hands down best Japanese food in the metro!!!

Huge fan of this branch as a convenient place to eat in Greenhills.

Chirashi was fresh and the sushi portions were cut well. Tuna and salmon were tender and not slimy. The tamago wasn't over cooked. Too bad there was no uni, but it's a seasonal delicacy.

Spicy tuna salad was spicier than what I'm used to but it gave a nice kick. I'm wondering if the recipe calls for more sauce now or its just today. The tuna chunks were larger though, choice cut.

Not a fan of the tofu furai but Telle B liked it.

Service was very attentive. Didn't need to ask for anything except the bill!

Sucks they moved the Eastwood branch to Marikina!
