We stooped upon Once Upon a Milkshake after groceries at SM BF Paranaque. We couldn't miss this store as it is just outside the supermarket.

We are fans of Davao's pride - the sweet durian and couldn't miss this durian moment. One of their best sellers happen to be the durian milkshake.

At P135 for their "creamed durian fruit shake" (i would assume that they use cream instead of milk), I do think it's quite pricey but is definitely worth a try. And perhaps a second or third try for that matter.

The durian milkshake is as fine as milk. No fruit bits whatsoever and very heavy on the tummy. They do offer three variants on the concentration of the drink - light, normal and strong. We chose "normal" for an equally normal durian punch. A strong concentration of durian would probably make me burp durian the whole night 128521

We didn't choose the smallest cup as it was too small to share, which is why we took a regular cup. Their regular cup is as big as a tall cup at Starbucks.

The drink was served in just a few minutes. And it was heavy as I expected. A sip from the straw would tell how the drink is really heavy and thick. And it did it's job to get us to start reminiscing our favorite Davao durian shake.

Quality is also good but somehow I was expecting a bit more for my P135. Free cookies perhaps? 128540

Durian lovers must try their Durian Milkshake. It's really good! Getting the "strong" version is like eating the real thing but in thick, and creamy liquid form. 128077

The Chocolate Castle was great! It wasn't too sweet.

Their milkshakes are really thick as they're made from ice cream, and no water is added. So, don't be fooled by how small their smallest serving is because trust me, it's really filling and that's all you need!

As I am now a regular fixture in SM BF, I've been looking for new things to try last Saturday... As the bf was in the bank, I chose to wait for him in the kiosk across BDO...

Once Upon A Milkshake is another Singapore franchise now in the Philippines... They have a lot of flavors to choose from, with cutesy names... I opted to try the Coconut Caramel... They have 3 sizes- the mini seemed too small, the large seemed too big and the regular (16oz) was just right...128516

The shake was delicious! It's a really good flavor, not über sweet!128077 But it was very very thick, difficult to sip from the large bore straw they provided... It had a really creamy and pleasant consistency... Note that it was also very filling and probably a bajillion calories too!128563 I take it back and would assert that the mini would have been a more prudent choice! For me, their shakes are on the expensive side, but it was enjoyable nonetheless... 128150 good treat, I'm sure that kids would like it...128516

My father approves! He who is hard to please loves his Hazelnutella and my Tiara-miss-u was just as expected, satisfying!

The price on their milkshakes will make you think why restaurants can't make theirs this thick and this good!

Tired Coconut Caramel and it's greater than any milkshake I've ever tasted!
