Órale liked it! 128571

My sister was raving about this place, so we chose to dine here for dinner during our staycation in BGC. 128568

My mom and sister had the chicken quesadillas and it was delicious! It was so cheesy and the pieces of meat were so tender and tasty! 128568

My dad ordered the Lengua Quesadilla, which turned out to be my favorite of the night! The pieces of Ox tongue were so juicy and they just melt in your mouth and was perfectly seasoned too! I didn't expect for lengua to go so well in a grilled cheese wrap. I loved this dish so much! 128571

I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito with Black Beans, as recommended by the waiter. It was a very good take on a burrito with all the right and balanced flavors! It was huge too! 128571

I'd come back for more Lengua for sure! 128571128571128571

After Seol and bean, hubby suddenly craved for something salty. He wanted to get some Korean savory food but refused to do so in Seol and Bean. We checked our options in Fort Strip and after a while, he decided that he wanted Mexican instead.

Orale! It’s our favorite Mexican Restaurant. Its menu is simple and straightforward but the food quality is superb. We weren’t really hungry so we decided against their Jumbo Burrito which we love. Husband went to the counter and ordered a platter of Nachos Carne Asada.

Oh it smelled so good! It was a huge platter of Nachos loaded with small chunks of beef, melted cheese, sour cream and salsa. It was the best Nachos platter ever! The small pieces of beef chunks were tender and tasty and had characteristic grilled taste. This went well with the fresh salsa that had tomatoes and onions. Since we were with the kiddos, we asked them to separate the chilies. I also liked the spicy tomato based dip that it came with and of course, more salsa and sour cream on the side!

Their nachos do not get soggy right away. I heard that they make their own nachos. Whiw!

I tell you, a grande platter of Nachos here is a lot! We already got tired chewing and chewing and we still had a lot! After a while, hubby decided to get us some drinks.

The place is kinda small but they have more tables outside the store. Gets pretty cramped inside.

Orale has been my go to place whenever I feel like eating good quesadilla... And I mean, g.o.o.d.

I usually just get the double cheese because it's the most basic and something I enjoy, however, when I went there 1 lunch time, I was told that monterey cheese wasn't available and they're going to substitute it with something else. I took that as a sign to try something else.

I ordered their Pollo Asado (P295) and it was one of those very rare times that I get frustrated that I didn't stick to my usual order. It was goos, but I didn't like it. Maybe because the chicken was a bit dry and the whole thing was just to heavy for me. It was also an added factor that monterey cheese wasn't available. :(

But don't get me wrong, I still love Orale! It's just one of those days that I don't. 128567

Orale's been at the Fort Strip for some time already. A Mexican resto with the ambience and menu to lend flexibility for either a straightforward meal or pulutan and drinks with friends, it's seen better days. It's my 2nd visit here in around 2 or so years (I actually forgot that I've been here before until I saw it from the outside 128514; a friend of mine said the name and it didn't register; #seniormoment), and the place had gotten smaller since I last visited. But the inside looks pretty much the same--- drab, dark hues, like it was some Mexican hole in the wall with a take it or leave it attitude. Perhaps that was the intent. Even if there were some bright colors, it still felt like a Mexican canteen. Haha, reminds me of how the interiors of the ol' Tia Maria's or that established Mexican resto in Boracay, Mañana.

I like how they have chalk handwriting on the blackboard atop the wall featuring the menu and the explanation to each protein, e.g. Carne Asado is grilled beef.

I think they've got the different Mexican offers covered, burritos (with chimichanga option which is to deep fry it), quesadillas, tacos, tostadas, arroz platillos and enchiladas, each with a different take and presentation from the other. I went with the burrito because I felt like rice that evening, but also because it allowed for deep frying in the chimichanga form. My verdict on that Grande sized dish... A 3.5/5, coz it got soggy as the sour cream on top got absorbed by the deep fried tortilla. Dang, too bad.

Also got to try a friend's pulled pork burrito. He liked it, though I thought it was moist but lacked flavor (maybe I'm used to pulled pork having been marinated). I also tried someone's chicken burrito and beef quesadilla, both really solid and filling. Ingredients were quite good and I didn't feel that they skimp on quality. Which is good.

Ask the waiter to explain it to you to understand the difference and you decide which one is best for you. But basically...

Tacos - meat / seafood and veggies put in a soft or hard shell tortilla
Quesadillas - soft corn tortillas stuffed with cheese and whatever protein they choose to add
Burrito - large flour tortilla stuffed with beans, and the meat. Usually with rice.
Enchiladas - folded tortilla usually with chicken
Arroz Platillos - meat with rice on the side. Aka rice meal.
Tostadas - I believe this is like a deconstructed taco, with the filling on top instead.

Whew.

Service was decent. They also have happy hour promos and their margaritas tasted good, too. The price is okay, about P350-400 for a big size order but man, their portions are big, too! I got treated to this dinner by a good buddy, but expect to pay about P450 to P600 per head per visit.

Note: apparently I reviewed this place over 2 years ago. 128521

Mexican night w the officemates!! Nachos and Beef Quesadillas to end the busy stressful week last week. I like their quesadilla because though not super cheesy and siksik, it's still flavorful, and the beef is oh so tender. You really get to enjoy every bite of this. 128513 And the nachos, love that they don't limit with the cheese sauce and the toppings. Always ask for extra salsa dip. 128521 Btw, they renovated the place. It's better, brighter, and cleaner now. 9786128077🏼

Ate on a lazy Sunday afternoon, the place is filled with expats. Good sign but almost sure it wouldn't be cheap.
Ordered a tostada, burrito, and a Dos Equis...
Tostada was ok, good for drinking but as an appetizer it was too similar to he dish I was going to eat.
The burrito was good, nice proportions of meat....
The beer was a nice match to the meal.
Would probably eat here again as I like Mexican... Another good find if Taco Vengo in Kapitolyo.

#TeamClingy were supposed to enjoy and savor every pieces of bacon at the BaconFestMNL last weekend, but 'twas a disaster because they ran out of bacon. Like seriously!? A baconfest that ran out of bacon after 30 minutes? Yeah right! So, we decided to just look for other places to eat around the area and settled here at Oralè.

I had the Carne Asada tostada paired with black beans. The beef was a bit tough for me while the rice was meh. It wasn't really that remarkable and not even close to being delicious. I also got to try the nachos and I had mixed feelings about it. I like the toppings but the tortilla chips remind me of Bad Taquitos, talkin bout the quality.

Disappointing! Not coming back for now. I might give this a chance but not today, today, todaaaayy... 127926127926127926

Disappointment all night from the "we ran out of bacon" at the baconfestmnl (at 630????) to the sorry tortilla this taco had and the hard ass nachos that made us feel like we were chewing glass. Ok, i exaggerate. Perya levels na hyperbole yun.

Lengua enchilada was good, i tried some from Kirbs and i also tried the rice from Russ, it was blah.

It's weird that the signage of the restaurant is placed under a blank wall but the resto was found around the corner pa. We had to see the luchadors to know na sila na pala yun.

Not coming back not also recommending. Sad.

Their servings were just fine because it was loaded with stuff which make you full right away, like their Burrito and their Cheesy Quesadillas. I like their Jarritos, it has the authentic taste of Tamarind. It wasn't one of the best Mexican resto for me but their foods were quite satisfying.

For almost 300php, their Chimichanga is a good order that can be shared by almost 3 pax.

I love how you can mix and match everything in your order - from the main filling, Chicken, Beef, Fish, Seafood to the sauces and bean types, whether mashed or whole.

A good Mexican try for burrito, taco, and quesadilla lovers!

Aside from Thai food, I really love Mexican food that's why I am always happy if I get to eat to legit Mexican restaurants. And I must say that Oralé is one of the best Mexican restos. Super loved their nachos and quesadillas. :)

I can say that this place is pretty legit compared to the Mexican food I used to get on the regular in San Diego. Definitely gonna hit Orale up often to try everything out.

Burrito x Quesadilla x Jarritos!! 128077128077

If you're around BGC and you're lookin for a good burrito place, go for Órale! I love their burrito! The meat is very tender and it's not chewy. I ordered their Carnitas. However, the cheese quesadillas weren't the best in my opinion. Restos don't normally offer you strawberry sodas, but this place got Strawberry flavored Jarritos! It's the closest you can get to red pop! Definitely a must try Mexican restaurant! 128515

It was a night filled with stories and laughters as I met two dear friends. Place of choice, Orale! I was more than pleased since I haven't visited this resto. If you are not so familiar with The Fort Strip, you wouldn't find it easy to spot this place. It's a little tucked away and the store occupies a small space. Good thing that the place is well lit and since this is The Fort Strip, you wouldn't really mind sitting al fresco.

Self-service is the name of the game here. Go to the counter, check out the menu and order. I badly wanted a Burrito so I got their Carne Asada Burrito. I was asked if I wanted a regular sized one or grande. Boy I was starving so I went for grande. When my order was served, I couldn't believe what I just ordered! Holly molly! One huge burrito, the biggest I've seen in my life! Good thing it was cut in half. The wrap was tight and packed! Flavorful rice, tender and meat, great salsa and sauces! It was the best I've had so far! There was so much in it that I wasn't able to finish even half of it. Super sulit! The burrito also came with nachos and pickled jalapeño slices on the side.

Will definitely go back and take the husband here. Just a note, they only have bottled drinks but you can always ask for house water.

AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved everything we ate here!! 10084

Ordered nachos with carne asada, chicken quesadillas and carnitas burrito.

The carne asada was super flavorful and tender. Nachos was good but would love if they added more cheese sauce (i like my nachos malambot 128546) The spicy salsa dip was good, too!!!

The quesadillas was soooo yummmy and light! But the burrito was the star!!!! IT WAS OH MY GOD AWESOME! Oh so yummy and good and tasty!!! We really really really loved it! Winner winner! 128076

Serving size was generous and good for sharing! Service was fast and excellent! Servers are friendly and approachable! 128077

Tip: sit outside so you won't smell mexican when you go back to work haha 128540

Because sometimes all you need is a giant plate full of nachos! 128061

My typical order at Orale is the Chicken Quesadilla with extra extra extra sour cream and very spicy salsa. But this one changed the "typical".

The Nachos is simply unforgettable! 128561 I can literally eat this all by myself!
