Betsy's Garlic Chicken was the bomb! No kidding! Their secret sauce is just the perfect sauce for it and it's crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside! For P135, the serving is just right for two! But it's better off for one person. I wanna know the secret to their sauce!

Then we paired the chicken with Ginata-ang Gulay also at P135 and for me their serving is good for 2-3 people. I'm not very much a fan of that dish considering I love all things ginataan. It was alright. Nothing extraordinary except for the added meat strips that was not included on their description so that was a surprise and to me it was a generous add-on. So perhaps that made it special after all.

As for the ambience, I'd say a B+. When we billed out, the waiter made a mistake on our receipt adding P45 to our total. Yes, it definitely pays to read your receipt carefully. If you can compute the total manually, so be it. 128077 Just like what Kristin A did on our recent #looloorendezvoos at Melt. That was awesome. Mental calculations! Had dinner here during a recent business trip to Cebu. We had Tinola Fish, Crispy Bihod, Kilawin Tuna, Chicharon Bulaklak, Grilled Liempo. They were all ok so-so. Servings were small though.

You got to love this place! Interior's industrial, low maintenance needed and clean. The food choices delicious! Not a typical Karenderia though the concept was borrowed from it. They play music similar to those genres we get to hear on by the highway or next door Karenderias ;-) absolutely familiar! Their Orange Chicken and Grilled Fish is a must try. You just got to stand at long queues so you better arrive 6:15 if you want to be able to sit at 7.

I love this place! The place is so cute! The concept of the restaurant is a posh karenderia complete with the turu-turo counter but it's air-conditioned and waiters will take your order. Ambiance lang yung turu-turo counter. 128077128077128077

Food is cooked on the spot so you can be sure everything's fresh and of optimal quality! Display kitchen pa sila! 128525128525128525 You must try their garlic chicken and crispy tuna belly! Servings are pretty generous and the best part is that they're sold at very affordable prices! 100841008410084

This is officially on my favorite restaurants list here in Cebu! Can't wait to come back! 128514128514128514

Hello, fried tuna parts heaven.
So, they were out of the crispy tuna buntot which disappointed me, but the (clockwise from upper left corner) crispy tuna belly, kusog (tuna cartilage), crispy tuna bihod (fish eggs), and bagaybay (male side to the eggs...so, sperm?) all made up for it in spades.
I think this place serves my new favorite way to eat tuna belly. And, being a fan of fried fish eggs, I was surprised to discover bagaybay was so much better (think ox brain texture with better flavor). The cartilage was great, too. It happens to be my favorite part on the tail so not having tail didn't disappoint me.
Friends, you must try this place if ever you love tuna, good fried food, and are in Cebu.

Simple food done right. It's like eating Lola's cooking. They have a variety of tuna products like their best selling crispy tuna buntot (yellow fin tuna tail - awarded the best in Cebu) which is deep fried in olive oil, as well as crispy tuna bihod (tuna roe), bagaybay, and kusog (tuna tendons)! I also love their Betsy's Organic Garlic Chicken - it's so addictive!!! It's sweet, savory, garlicky and just delicious. All of their food is prepared fresh daily.

Other worthy items to try are their Sinuglaw (sinugba-kinilaw) and Tuna sisig. Orange Karenderia also has fresh juices and shakes to quench our dry throats from this unending summer-like heat. They also have desserts like their Brazo de Cups, Sago Gulaman and Leche Flan.

Service is pretty quick; ambiance is good. It's not a by-the-street kind of eatery as what you would expect of its name. It's a clean restaurant with cute displays of their fresh produce.

Will definitely come back to this #HealthyKarenderia!
