For an affordable price of Php900.00 (Twin Standard Room Price), Orchard Hotel offers you a spacious hotel room, cable tv, hot and cold shower, clean lobby and spacious parking area.

Albeit no free breakfast catered for the guests.

Orchard is a basic star hotel. It's clean and it has basic amenities. It only has three floors, so there's no elevator. It opened 2 years ago, so the fixtures and the furniture are still relatively new. It's a good alternative for a value-for-money stay here in Davao. It's near SM Premiere Lanang and SMX, so it's a good choice convention attendees like me. It's located right in front of another mall, Robinson's. Cons: front desk people don't know how to talk to guests. They don't smile. My aunt got insulted after going to their room and finding out that they can't enter. The lady at the front desk told her that because she hasn't paid her full deposit, they decided to suspend her privilege of entering their room. When told that it wasn't explained to them during check-in, she said that because they had a bad experience in the past that guests leave without paying in full, that's why they had to do that. Which implies that my aunt seems like someone who won't be able to pay the full amount. I understand where the hotel is coming from, but the way they explained it wasn't professional. They staff definitely needs more service and hospitality training.

A budget hotel along SM lanang - within the city center. Small but clean room. Disappointed with the wifi connection on the 3rd floor - very poor inside the room. Tried to inform front desk but nothing has done.
