Mommy is a fan of Buko Pie so when we bought pasalubongs from Buffy's we were surprised that instead of following us, she went inside this store. 128517 I heard that this is the Best and the Original Buko pie. They also have Pineapple Pie and Buko Tropical Pie (combination of Buko and Pineapple). And Cassava, as well.

We ordered 2 boxes for 200 pesos each. Mommy loved it! The pie was siksik with buko meat and it wasn't that sweet, as well. Asked her to rate it and she's giving the Buko Pie 5 stars because according to her, it was really good and worth the price. 128077🏼

PS: The pie can last up to 3-4 days when refrigerated and 1 day only if not. And oh, if you're planning to eat it right away, you can ask them to slice it already. 128521

No doubt that they sell really good Buko Pies so I bought other pasalubong finds in their shop to check if it's as good.

I saw this PutoFlan on the counter and bought it, who doesn't love Puto and Leche Flan right? But, it did not live up to my expectations. It tasted more of Puto because the Leche flan on top wasn't creamy and sweet.

Also bought their Toasted Pastillas and Yema, I'd recommend only to buy the Yema, the Pastillas, same as their flan, lacked the sweetness and creaminess.

Glad they expanded in the South, I can avail it even when I'm from Tagaytay area.

This is my all-time fave buko pie! Not an exaggeration, but I bet I can finish the whole pie.

One star for having a legitimate branch near in our place. They used to have a kiosk at Santa Rosa Complex but then it was no longer doing business there. They also had a kiosk at SM last Christmas. Happy that it's now more reachable, no need to go to Los Banos. 9786

Another star for having a better buco pie than what Colette's is currently selling. Orient Original buco pie has lots of buco strips, nothing much flour in the filling, salty-sweet pie crust is also at its best.

Additional one star for serving a hot and freshly-baked buco pie.

I am still actually looking for the same buco pie when we were just new here in Tagaytay area, way back 1997, a pie with creamy-not-too-sweet custard filling, pure buco "hindi niyog", and no flour/extender in the filling.

Sorry no picture because we finished the buko pie already.

Best eaten when just baked from the store. Still hot when it reached Metro Manila.

Iba talaga ang The Original Buko Pie dito! The crust is really thick and the bukos are in chunk and siksik sa laman! Very tasty and delicious! Taob Colette's, Rowenas dito!

The original & the best is finally in Tagaytay (Silang, Cavite to be exact)! Their 2nd branch after Los Baños. Dont mind waiting a long time coz its hot & freshly baked. Sometimes it could take you an hour and a half coz of the long line. Price is P170 a box (8 slices). So worth it.128077

Truly the best buko pie in the south.

I noticed their second branch while heading to Tagaytay for some “me time”. Originally from Los Baños Laguna, I was very delighted in seeing this bakeshop as I grew up munching their goodies. Their bakeshop brings more than 50 years of experience in providing one of our all-time favorite pasalubong – the buko pie. And yes my fellow loolooers, they pioneered Buko Pie in the country.128526

Inside the gray plain-looking box is a round, crunchy piecrust with lots of soft buko meat slices suspended in yummy filling. It’s not too sweet and yet full of delicious tasting intended to gratify your dessert cravings. I like that every order I get is always hot and IMO best eaten inside my car. The spreading savory smell of the piecrust will always tempt me to get a slice until I devour everything in the box. 128513

The Original Buko Pie avoids adding preservatives so you can always count them to use nothing but fresh, young coconut meat. They also export vacuum packed buko pies in Australia, Japan & New Zealand. 9992

I’m sure this place will get jam-packed on the next coming months. Make sure to get a box when you visit Tagaytay. Highly recommended Guys! 128077128077128077
