Digman BC2 Original Digman Halo Halo is famous since 1969. Halo Halo, being a Pinoy favorite not just every summer but all year round, has always been the specialty and the reason why Digman is famous for. We usually eat here weekly, but since me and dad got busy we at least try everyone and a while. They also have other specialties (which is also a must try) like Pancit Malabon and Siopao. My parents usually go Halo Halo. There are times I like to have Halo Halo too but most of the time I like some good old Mais con Yelo. Digman is open daily, and you can also order you halo halo to go! :)

When you go to Digman in Bacoor Cavite there are about 3 restaurants with the name Original Digman Halo Halo. Since I was a kid we would always go to the one on the left side. Signage says "The Original Digman Halo Halo and home made Siopao. They also have a Sto. Nino inside the place. My boyfriend is from Tondo Manila and decided introduce him one of Cavite's pride which is the Digman Halo Halo. He's so happy, amazed and he also said It's the first time he tasted a superb halo halo for 21 years of existence. Lol

Don't forget to use the hashtag #whenincavite on Instagram to discover great foodie spots in my hometown :)

I still prefer Razon's over this but Digman's was walking distance from my aunt's place at Cavite and so I gave it a try.

My mom was actually the one who recommended this to me. This used to be frequented by celebrities (they have pics framed that are hung on their wall) as proof! Haha!

The taste of their halohalo tasted like the typical halohalo you'll find almost anywhere (like those that my neighbor used to sell) haha! but I heard that they put avocados in this when they are in season. I think that would be a much more unique experience for me and it would've most likely leveled up the taste of their halohalo :)

I'll try this again prolly during the next Manny Pacquiao fight 128514

For southerners like my husband Gel S and sis-in-law Nicel S, this is the original go-to place for halo-halo. This is the 2nd time I've tried their halo-halo since 2009. I'm sorry, i still like the simplicity of Razon's better. To each his own, right? But if you like a lot of ingredients, then this one's for you. If it's avocado season, they put that on the halo-halo too. Regular serving costs P55 while the special one (with ice cream) costs P65. 128522

Finely crushed ice, Macapuno, Banana, Leche Flan and Milk is NOT Halo-Halo. This is. 128513

The Original Digman Halo-Halo. The true halo-halo that comes with a variety of condiments. They've been around way before Max's and Chowking had this Filipino dessert on the menu. The place is quite hard to find and I have to warn you that this is a "carinderia" type of place. But even so, celebrities used to frequent this place back in the day.

Also, try their freshly cooked tahong chips. They are the pioneers of Tahong Chips. 128077
