Osaka Ohsho is famous for their gyoza but somehow, it was just okay for me. I've tried the Original as well as the Bacon & Cheese, without sauce, with sauce, with mixed sauces, and still, taste was just okay. I liked how it was cooked though, with one crisp side.

Their Pork Cutlet in Miso Sauce was tasty. The set can be god for 2. 128076🏼

Their food is a bit pricey but the servings is sulit. 128077🏻 Their gyoza is delicious specially if you mix their chili, curry sauce & soy sauce as your dipping sauce. 128523

Authentic Japanese food! A b it pricey compared to other places, and their set meals don't come with unli miso and cabbage. The place gets quite busy at dinner time, so may want to come earlier.

Had dinner here last night with my siblings. Pricewise this place is really good an order of their Ebi tempura Fuwatoro Tenshinhan for 695php was more than good for 2. I love their delicious tempura not that of a superb tempura but it tasted great. The omurice that comes with it was also good. I miss ordering katsudon so I ordered a bowl of it. Before the katsu craze this was my fave type of katsu. Coated with egg and drizzled with sauce. A taste that I really miss. Their katsudon was superb and served in a big bowl. I think this is also good for sharing if you are going to order other meal. For the gyoza we got to try the original, nori and curry flavor. My fave was the Nori. The Curry flavor was good but flavor was a little too strong for a gyoza.

Overall love the place and the geisha wall art. Service was also prompt and good. We were also able to get a free miso soup by just simply posting in IG nice! 128521128077

Black Vinegar Chicken set (380PHp) which includes gyoza, miso soup, rice and fruits.

It was good but it doesn't have much chicken on it. It probably just had 3 pieces of kaarage.

Another Japanese restaurant that I’m a fan of. I just love their Gyoza as well their Kaikage tempura. I'd probably bookmark this restaurant if I’m looking for a quality Japanese food.

We ordered the Fuwatoro Tempura Set for 2. It consists of 2 Fruit set, 6 Gyoza, 2 Miso soup, 3 pcs of Tempura, and 1 Fuwatoro Tenshin Han with extremely fluffy egg on top of equally good and fluffy Japanese rice. It came with a thick, not-so-sweet sauce, and it's simply oishii! It’s swimming on their special "gravy". 128076

Osaka Ohsho’s Pan-Fried Gyoza is best enjoyed when dipped into any of these three sauces: Osaka Ohsho Original, Miso, and Chili Oil. What my friend did was to combine the original, and the chili oil, while I combined all three!

Surprisingly, we loved the food, the serving was big and the taste was great! The food was even priced fairly, we couldn't have asked for more! They have this unlimited rice if you order sets but the serving was already more than enough. In short, we went home with a very happy tummy!

SM-- We've got it all for you!128515

Remember that commercial? Shoe Mart was the place to be years back! It was the advent of the super malls, bigger, better with more stores and activities inside... Then somehow, the interest died down when places like Eastwood and Serendra became open to the public...

But Mr. Henry Sy is definitely a genius businessman... In the last couple of years, they made SM Megamall hot once more with the introduction of the Fashion Hall... Super brands from all over the world were brought to our shores, making fashionistas sashay all the way to Ortigas... With this came many leaders in the restaurant scene setting up shop, drawing large crowds from all over... Everyone's a foodie!128516

The revamp didn't stop there... Megamall's older sibling is now the focus of their attention... There is definitely a lack of hip new restaurants in QC's malls, compared to Makati or BGC... But the revitalization of our malls are slowly happening and look at SM North now... Lots of new restos for everyone to enjoy!

Being a well-liked brand in Mega, Osaka Ohsho is likewise making waves in SM North... They bring us one of the best (if not THE best) gyozas in the metro. They new variants available btw, such as kimchi and curry gyozas... Other than their famous dumplings, they also have a wide array of rice sets good for one to two people... During this visit, we over-ordered two kinds of gyozas-- their bacon and cheese & their original. Both delicious in their own right, but we did prefer the original... Mix and match with the available dipping sauces to suit your preference. They have a pretty good Japanese curry as well... I love Jap rice and their fuwatoro tenshin is excellent!

If you haven't tried this restaurant yet, do so! Do it for the gyozas!128525 And if you haven't been to SM lately, do explore! They don't have it all but they do have a lot to offer!128077

For 270, this set was not bad at all. Service was fast and efficient. Will come back to try the rest of the menu.

Ordered Ebi Tempura Fuwatoro Tenshin Han Set (Good for 2) to share with my mom. It comes with 6 pcs. of gyoza, 3 pcs. of tempura, two servings of Miso Soup, and two servings of fruits (pineapple and watermelon).

The Ebi Tempura was okay. It's just awkward that it's only 3 pieces but the set is for 2. The gyoza was good. I liked that the wrap was slightly crisp without tasting burnt. The Fuwatoro Tenshin Han (that dome looking thing under the tempura) was crazy. Well, only because it was really so simple but so perfect. It's Japanese rice topped with a thin layer of super soft, super smooth, egg omelette, immersed in what seems like teriyaki sauce but with a lighter consistency. It was good but the sweetness becomes too much after a while.

We also had the Osaka Ohsho Salad. It has mango balls, tomatoes, crab sticks, candied walnuts, and the greens. I loved it.

I'm not gonna make this long but, Osaka Ohsho, for me has one of the best (if not THE best) gyoza here in Manila for me. 128077🏻

They opened last month at SM North's new dining hot spot in The Block. As of now, La Lola, Rock and Seoul, Go Nuts Donuts, Cafe Bistro, and Bistro Remedios have opened already.

6 pieces of their carefully and perfectly done gyoza cost 180 bucks excluding service charge. I loved how thin and not chewy the wrapper was unlike the contrary in some less authentic Japanese restaus in the Metro. Also, their three sauces made them more tasty. You can mix the miso, chili, and the soy sauces together for a twist in your gyozas. 128512

I also liked their setup, though small compared to their Megamall branch. Walls were adorned with those texts and some photos in your typical anime comics plus the usual simple and casual Japanese interior design.
