A very nice place to meditate.

Visited her on her feast day and the Feast of the Holy Name of Mary. A very special day.

Simplicity at its finest. 128146 This best describes Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Lipa. It is one of the miraculous carmel monastery because it is where the famous showering of rose petals of the Blessed Mary Mediatrix of All Grace took place in 1948 and 1991. The solemnity of the Apparition in Lipa was questioned by the local Catholic Church and was declared hoax in 1950. They even ordered the Carmelite nuns to destroy all evidences connected with it. After more than 40 years, case was reopened proving its authenticity.

My Auntie told me that my grandmother kept 1 petal from the 1948 shower, which she handed to her eldest and later gave it to a sick friend and was never returned back. It is believed to heal whomever believes in Mary.

When I think of Carmel, it brings back pure memories of my childhood since if not in Cathedral, that's where we usually hear mass together with my cousins. I even remembered the place as a very open space and serene and that we often play around after mass before we head home.

Many people remained devoted over the years. That one day all words of Mary Mediatrix of all Grace will come true only if we truly believed in her.

I walked around the place and I realized how wonderful it changed but was able to retain the simplicity of the sacred place. I went to buy rosaries in the religious items store just after you passed the entrance gate. You can also write your petitions and offer mass there. I took a picture of the schedule of their masses in case you guys wanted to visit Carmel one day. It would be really worth it.

You can also view the sacred ground garden by going up on the left staircase beside the religious item store and witness the heavenly feels of Our Lady.

This one's really close to my heart. I can say.
