When you're in Manila City, here's a holy ground that you can visit, Our Lady of the Abandoned Parish Church.

Our Lady of the Abandoned Parish Church, commonly known as OLA is situated at Sta. Ana, in the center of the city.

This Roman Catholic parish church is a beautifully structured centerpiece that has its very own distinct, unique and identified character that makes it a remarkable sight to see.

Locals frequent the Church to attend masses and there's a school near for kindergarten to elementary students.

Make sure to come at an early hour to avoid the rush in visiting the Church. Once inside, you'll get to see the high ceilings of the Church that helps in providing good ventilation most especially when it's jam packed with visitors.

The walls are clean and has this baroque feels with its very historical feels. Ceiling and side artworks were intricately carved or painted giving the Church a very creative and artsy feels as well.

The simple yet classic looking chandeliers give the interiors more character and aura that actually gives the Church a good lighting as well.

At the center, you will get to see a very clean and polished altar, decorated with colorful flowers and lighted really well to accentuate the religious structures and statues there.

The cleanliness and neatness of this Church make it more warm, inviting and welcoming.

Definitely one of the most beautiful parish churches I've visited --- from its detailed exteriors to its intricately carved and designed interiors to the nice religious statues and figures --- this is really worth seeing and experiencing.

Solemnity and peace can really be felt once you're inside.

The Our Lady of the Abandoned Church in Sta Ana has the distinction of being a National Cultural Treasure twice! 1st is the Church itself and the 2nd is the Camarin which has been declared a National Cultural Treasure in its own right. Once you step into the Camarin and look up you will realize why it is a National Cultural Treasure by itself.

The Church is impressive, it boasts of a magnificent Retablo Mayor and adorned with Saints. The Church is one of the oldest in Metro Manila and one of the most impressive as well.

This church is one of the historic landmarks in the Santa Ana area, and was originally built almost 300 years ago.

Gets quite full on Sundays. Parking very limited so walking or taking tricycle preferred. Walking distance from good BBQ places nearby down the Plaza.
