Their Chocolate Thunder From Down Under (PHP300+) is to die for! Super deadly but oh so good!!

I probably expected more from an established and known steakhouse. I didn't mind that the cut was probably meant for kids. But the meat was a bit tough.

First time to eat at Outback with my bestfriend. She ordered their Sirloin steak in medium rare while I had Baby Back Ribs and Alice's Spring Chicken combo with mashed potatoes and fries. Yeah, total carbo loading.

Ribs were easy in falling out from its bones. Alice's Spring Chicken was made more delicious with the cheese but too much of it makes it nakakasawa. Fries were delicious and not that oily. Their steak was easy to slice and chew, and the meat was very delicious.

The service was very much okay and the staff were really accommodating and customer-friendly.

Their chicken quesadilla was pretty good and filling while the Typhoon burger was just ok. I'm not a fan of burgers with lots of extras in it and the Typhoon burger had too much palaman (for me at least). I also liked their flavored iced tea. 128513

Service was really good and I loved how the place looked. 128522

The typhoon bloom was soggy and looked like it was dripping in oil. Also it came after 25 minutes! The dipping sauce is extremely delicious.

Complained and had it replaced to spinach artichoke dip which was swimming in lard/ butter.

The only thing I liked were the baby back ribs but it took 45 minutes! That's insane.

Considering the place was not even busy.
Will come back for the ribs but maybe call on the way there so when we visit it's ready for us.

I used to love their Typhoon Bloom but on the two occasions I've been to this branch (usually ate at the branch along C5, before it closed down/transferred here), I noticed that it tasted really different now. The sauce and the onion rings itself only vaguely resembled the former Typhoon Bloom I used to love.

The chicken alice was also just okay, not like how it used to be.

We did like the buffalo wings.

Other than that, everything was just okay for me.

I am coming into terms with the fact that the Typhoon Bloom will never be the way it used to be 128557

One crazy dessert party perfect for this crazy weather!

We ordered 2 dessert options from their menu: Chocolate Thunder From Down Under & Banana Nut Cake.

The first one tasted really delicious with the chewy, chocolatey, soft brownie paired with the fresh vanilla ice cream with sumptuous drizzles of chocolate syrup!

The Banana Nut Cake is the first one's version too, just that it has a banana cake layer that tasted freshly baked too!

If your taste buds are safe and need to feed kids, coming to Outback is the right choice. Their array of appetizers are enough to fill you well. Since I was dining with family, they were only into classics.

Calamari was ordered for the kids and kookaburra wings for me! (Yay!) The typhoon bloom is still a favorite. It's a technically studied way or presenting onion rings. You know you've had enough because it'll be too salty. So I washed it down with a strawberry mojito which was refreshing. My brother and I shared a sirloin and baby back ribs with fries. I found the serving small to share but realized with all the other items ordered, it was just right. My sister-in-law had the seared ahi tuna salad, which is never a fail. My rents each had soup and my two nieces had some pasta and chicken fingers. My dad's main was an order of pork chops. It was mouth-watering! I couldn't help but ask for garlic rice. 9786️. My mom ordered the outback burger that she didn't touch because she was extremely full. We ended the meal with créme brulees and coffee.

That was a lot! And costly, too.

ordered rib eye- medium. good size for 10oz, onion rings is to oily for me, good cob salad, i just find it really bad to charge 750 pesos for wine corkage if your selection is limited and extremely over priced wine by the glass- 4 stars to the manager for keeping her good service and excellent skills handling an irate customer like me. he he.

Tender signature dish! Ordered medium well, meat retained it's taste. Not much for the side fish loaded potato.

Typhoon Onion rings was delicious and plentiful. The dip was also flavorful and complimented the onions. Salad was pretty good. But a little too much dressing for my taste. Ordered the creamy onion soup also which i found a little too salty. I did not finish it.

For the main entree i ordered the typhoon burger. When it came out. The buns were cold as if they took it right out of the package without toasting. So i asked to have it toasted. When they brought the buns back it came out hot. Unfortunately they heated it in the microwave. Really??? Cmon burger buns should be toasted. After awhile the buns started to harden up due being heated in the microwave. The burger itself tasted very sad. No soul in this burger.

Overall portions were adequate and service was fast and attentive.

Late review!

Father's Day celebration here in Outback! Apart from the freebies for dads, (coupons and a free family picture), service was excellent.

I got the Filet Tips with Mushrooms. The portion was good for sharing (as I'm not much of a carnivore), and tasty. It was a little tough though, so kinda disappointing for the price (P699). The Ahi Tuna Salad was really good though! @-)

Outback's still a restaurant for splurging/celebrations for me. It's too pricey for a normal dinner out.

We had early dinner here last week. We thought it was closed since there were not much cars, thank god it wasn't.

For light dinner, the boyfriend ordered half rack of ribs while I settled for the Grilled Chicken and Swiss sandwich. We had some of their complimentary bread while waiting.
Our orders arrived promptly. Ribs were so tender, and the sandwich was good too. For a little bit over a thousand we had a filling meal. Good service too!

Cozy place, nice ambiance and...juicy steaks! They'll cook it just the way you like it! They got bottomless iced tea too! (Outback special on photo) their steaks come with mashed potatoes and veggies! Steaks come in thick slabs of USDA Angus beef, it is best cooked medium. And mashed potatoes are really puréed and tasty (not even salty) 128077
