Hand made form scratch and frozen with liquid Nitrogen, it's a labour of love prepared not in small batches, but on demand and on display. Outré meaning unusual and startling. It's different in a good way. The smooth and creamy goodness is something you must try for yourself. I loved it! I hope you'll love it too!

I enjoyed their "Bestseller" Milo Dinosaur (160 PHP) It's chocolate is just right and can be enhanced with the chocolate syringe.

My brother loves their "Bestseller" Happy Sally (160 PHP) salted caramel gelato and caramel syringe to heighten the sweetness.

I hope they open a branch in BGC soon!

I have no photo because it was almost a year when i visited your shop in bf homes and i am new in looloo app so this is a super late review! what i loved about outré is the consistency of their ice vream was like custard minus the "eggy" taste, and their place and ambience was literally cool. my son and daughter was amazed by how you make your ice cream and when the crew started to get some liquid nitrogen my kids was amazed because the whole place got foggy we were like in an old haunted movie were the ghost are starting to appear! lol. seriously though, if only we live near your place we will be there everyday! keep it up!! oh i forgot, i loved the shrimp sandwich too, i forgot the name, but it was a sandwich with kimchi and shrimp. people must try it!

Captured by the interior of this shop, big tanks inside producing nitrogen gases to make a gelato so I entered and tried their bestseller Milo Dinosaur and pretty amazed the way they prepare for it.

The price is very much paid off after I was overwhelmed with the finished product and most especially after I tasted it. 128525

I recommend this for foodies out there! 128077🏼

Who doesn't want to have ice cream during this kind of weather? Well, everyone would scream for ice cream due to intense heat.

It was first of June last year (our first day of class) when me and my college mates tried Outre in their branch at Aguirre. I loved their gelato that time I always wanted to go to Aguirre for that. But the traffic hinders us.

So when I knew they'll be opening a branch in circuit Makati last January, my hormones were excited. Which made my way to be a guest during their launch.

During the pre-opening, tasting of their entrees and gelato are the main thing. Almost everything were given to us in a pika-pika form.

But the best thing, the reason why I actually went to the pre-opening is the free gelato. Yay. Three flavors were introduced.

The most exciting part was when the whole place was occupied by liquid nitrogen smoke. It's like going back to being an innocent kid that says "woooow" to things that I never used to see.

I got the Milo Dinosaur, PB&J, and Brandy Makisig during my recent visits.

PB&J is peanut butter-flavored and topped with jelly... Like gulaman. Seriously, the gulaman killed it. 128517 But the gelato is really tasty! This is the first time I had a PB ice cream. I bet this would be a good flavor in ice cream sandwiches.

Milo Dinosaur is as cliche as it sounds.

Brandy Makisig! My personal favorite in this store (because salted caramel is not available here *sad life*). It has a twist I can't explain. Maybe brought by the burnt bread topping.

The ambience here is calming. The table and seats that are those from your nursery schools are the things that always invite me to come to the store. One time, we were even fighting over calculus problems and it felt like we're kids fighting over 10 divided 10. It's like a gelato place on a library without books... What?

Service 5 for 5, they are kind and approachable.

Waaah, my favorite gelato place is just a kilometer away from home. 128524128521

The first photo was from their pre-opening.

It's almost summer and the heat intensified further. Knowing there's a nearby Outre in Makati, my sister and I decided to give it a try. For a price of Php 160, you get to have a cup this size with nitrogen infused ice cream. Not so sure about what Nitrogen does, but uhm, well, it's homemade ice cream. You get to see how it's being done. I tried the Kick Me which is coffee based ice cream and I'd say it was okay. Nothing special actually. I also think it's a little pricey for that size. But anyways, it's worth giving it a try.

Liquid nitrogen, which has a boiling point of -196C, is used for a variety of things, such as a coolant for computers, in medicine to remove unwanted skin, warts and pre-cancerous cells, and in cryogenics, where scientists study the effect of very cold temperatures on materials.

It has also become increasingly common at top restaurants as a method for instantly freezing food and drinks, or creating an impressive cloud of vapour or fog when exposed to air.

Blame it on Heston.  He made the avant-garde cooking technique famous.  Since then a number of restaurants have started following his footsteps and incorporated the usage of liquid nitrogen.  And this is quite popular among ice cream joints.  I am not sure who is the perpetrator but i guess it's the one fron Maginhawa.

Outre is one of the restaurants I want to visit in the Parañaque area.  I tried to scout Aguirre once but i failed misserably.  So when i found out that they are opening a branch in Circuit, i got giddy.

Last night,  we decided to grab some grub outside.  This is amid our anti-Valentines Day Crusade.  I hope this wouldn't put a dent on our street cred.

The joint is conveniently located on the ground floor (beside the pizza joint).  We ordered Baklava (Rose water gelato toppef with Baklava Bar)  and Salted Caramel.  We got some fish and chips on the side,  we need a healthy balance between sweet and salty.

The Baklava is their featured flavor for V Day.  Hence the usage of Rose Water Gelato.  This one is okay.  Think of vanilla with a flowery scent.  This is not for everyone as the flavor is offbeat.   The salted caramel is too sweet for my liking.  The balance between salt at caramel is proportional bur i dunno why i stopped eating after two bites.  Sweet Tooth Tribe members would have a field day with this. And the usage of the syringe is cute and innovative.

The fish and chips was surprisingly good.  Crunchy exterior and moist fillet inside.  I wish they offered tartar sauce instead of mayonnaise though.

I guess they are still in their soft opening phase.  The ice cream counter is understaffed.  One customer even complained about the wait time. And oh, the lady manning the counter writes the customers name / flavor  on the ice cream cup and places them with the lid touching the counter for the ice cream dude to process.  This is probably harmless but it would make the neat freaks panic.  Uhmmm.. 911!!!  Maybe they come up with a different method next time.

Overall,  i liked my first liquid nitrogen ice cream experience.  I'd probably go back to try the infamous Milo Dinosaur.
