A soft and thin layer of dough and inside are rich and quality ingredients. This is what Overdough offers. Last week I got their Uberdoughs before they took it out. The last batch was given out last July 31.

I did enjoy their Ube version. I just found it too oily on the outside. It was supposed to come with Ube sauce but they didn’t have it at that time. It would have intensified the flavors further.

I am looking forward to new flavors to come out. Before Ube, I tried their addicting, sweet cookie dough.

We ordered chocolate chip and peanut butter doughs to try them coz they looked nice on the pic ads. Oil was old and you can taste it in every bite. The peanut butter filling tasted “maanta”. May taste better if they add up more fillings in it and change the peanut butter fillings being served now.

I have been curious about this shop and been wanting to try it out. I ordered one of their new flavors Choco Mint (Php 160). It was really filling since it was deep fried. For the taste and flavor, nothing unique about. I don’t know maybe i should have ordered their classic flavors. Have you tried this? Which flavor should i order next?

The only Overdough branch I’ve tried so far. Interestingly they now have a combo of their cookie dough or beignets with coffee. But well, I’m always after the Cookie Dough. We tried the combo this time. One with choco chip and s’mores. It’s still good. The smores can be sweeter than the choco chip but I like that it sure has a mallows within. Yayy! We also tried the beignets which is interesting as it’s a fried puff pastry with confectionary sugar all over it. It comes with a free dip which we chose honey cinnamon. Interesting enough, the honey cinnamon complements it well. Making this one having the right sweetness. The beignets are fried just just right with luckily not much or an air after a bite. It’s good!!

One thing I’m disappoined though is the service. I mean the staffs are nice but it’s their responsibility to find a way to provide a change. Well they tried to find a way. But, they kept asking me if I have any smaller bills. Which I don’t have any smaller bills and they really forced me to find a place to get smaller bills. They hold my food kidnapped 128546 Like how was it my fault. Huhu. Luckily Recession coffee is right next door and they have good coffee. Not really sure what to feel about this experience. Anyhow, hope they can do something about that.

If you’re craving for sweets and really not minding the few calories, they have flavors that for sure you would like to have. From chocolates to cookie dough! They also have dips to enhance the taste! Oh and their coffee is good! :)

Overdoughs

Tried overdoughs for the first time during their opening day and i loved it. Total carbfest.

You know (or probably might not) that deep fried sugared donuts they used to sell in Rustans Makati? They don’t have that here haha. But the concept of getting them fresh and hot is indeed salivating.

They have several variations of bite-sized donuts and fried doughs for you to choose from from 120.00-160.00. These doughs are placed in a cup and one order is more than enough to get that sugar high.

127849 LOUKOUMADES.

Greek donuts with honey.
My absolute favorite! These were golden, light and pillowy, with thin, slightly crispy exterior. The  honey gave it the right amount of sweetness. Really enjoyed this one.

Dense balls cookies, so decadent and sweet. You’ll have to share this one because 1-2 balls is really all i can finish.

127849 BEIGNETS
120.00
Donut-like fritters from the Mardi Gras capital of the world. These are soft, pillowy and fluffy. As these are the signature items in Overdoughs, I had high hopes for these. However, what we got were overcooked and hard. But, we visited during their opening and so far Ive heard so many good things about these. I think it was the first day frazzle.

Loved the matcha white and the honey cinnamon.

The space is small, but they have their own seating. Unlike the cart space they have in their first branch in Century Mall. They have limited seating space where you can enjoy your donuts and your coffee.

They also have coffee here and their doughs go best with black coffee.

Owned by the Caravan Group, same owners as Elait.

Oooh, I think I’m addicted to Overdoughs’ fried cookie dough and beignets! The fried cookie dough has a perfectly crispy crust and a soft, almost gooey inside while the beignets are light and fluffy and pairs well with the chocolate sauce.

Got to try Overdoughs’ Loukoumades as recommended by the attendant. These are fried dough balls which is actually a traditional dessert in Greece and other Mediterranean countries. So yeah, they are basically Greek doughnuts. 127849

After frying, they coat the balls in a honey-cinnamon mixture. You have an option on what sauce you want to dip your doughnuts into, I chose dark chocolate.

My verdict: I enjoyed the sticky texture of the dough. It’s not light and airy as other doughnuts and it reminded me of mochi doughnuts. It may taste bland and oily as is, as the honey-cinnamon coating is too light but dip in the sauce and you’ll fully enjoy these Loukoumades.

Due to an event in Arena I decided to drop by at Maison today. And well, to my surprise Overdough have their latest branch here and I made sure to drop by.

First, hats off to them for hiring a pwd staff!! He was definitely functional and I supposed he has spectrum autism that's why he can basically do the work. You just have to be patient as he can be very straight forward. I admire them for that!!

Now the food. We tried their Cookie Dough Oreo Smores. It was delightful. Crunchy on the outside, but with rich and cookie dough inside. It can be a little overwhelming so better be shared. 8pcs for 160, not bad. It's perfect with an americano to balance the flavors.

Unlike their kiosk in Century Mall, this one has a small area for you to sit down and wait or consume or snack there. Will go back next time to try their other food in the menu.

Thanks to Aaron for inviting team kaladkarin!

This is their third branch already following their second branch at ayala 30th mall. Overdough is inspired by french type of pastries.

Aaron their marketing told me that overdough would like to give alternative for people who’s gonna watch movies— that is why on all their branches, overdough is located near the cinema.

Their main challenge was the customer’s waiting time— he said it takes them around 10 minutes to prepare the goodies which was true in my case. However they figured it out how to handle their challenge— delivery!

Just simply pay at the counter, and show them your cinema and seat number and wait for them!

128204128525 Loukoumades @120PhP (10pcs)
Best eaten hot! These are small fried doughs with a marshmallow texture inside. Dip it with their honey cinnamon dip.

128204 Beignets @120PhP (7pcs)
These are more of a bread texture. Best eaten hot. They have dips to go with this snack: toffee, dark choco, milk choco, matcha white, honey cinnamon, and nutella (ftw). Some are actually kampon ng mamon, and a little messy to eat because of the confectionary sugar.

128204128525 Cookie Dough @160PhP (8pcs)
I really love this one, if there’s anything unique, try this. It’s crispy outside and soft inside. They come in two flavors— choco chip (my reco) and cookies and cream doughs. This is served without dips; if you want both, order for cookie combo.

They also serve coffee!!! And they got their beans from toby’s estate!! Yay! Quality beans right there! Enjoy latte, americano or mocha options for coffee.

OVERDOUGHS
Ayala Mall on the 30th

The piggery took their precious grandma on a tour at the Ayala Mall on the 30th. It was 1st son’s turn to treat his lola to lunch. But that’s another story.

I will go straight to dessert. Just like me , the piggery are always on the lookout for new restos and new concepts in food.

2nd son spotted Overdoughs on the top floor of the mall. I was surprised to find a branch here. I thought there was only one store. I was thrilled to be invited to its grand launch in S'Maison a week ago but was not able to go huhuhu. Anyway, of course I can not forego the opportunity to try it with my kids.

Anything deep fried will catch their attention. They ordered the oreo variant. We watched as oreos what looked like cookie dough were dipped in pancake batter then deep fried.

One order is P160 and you get about 4 or 5 balls. For an additional P30 you get to choose your dip.

You know what, it was good. There was crunchy (from the deep fried outer layer) and creamy ( from the cookie dough inside).Or was it because deep fried and sweet are my two of my favorite words ( among many) in the foodie lexicon hahaha

On its newest branch in S’ Maison at Conrad Hotel, SM MOA Complex, Pasay City, I was able to try some of the products of Overdoughs.

Overdoughs is a classic donut shop. The donuts are comparable to our very own Bicho-bicho. Overdoughs uses confectioner sugar compare to the white sugar of Bicho-bicho. But it almost tastes the same. Overdoughs version called it Beignets.

127849Beignets for Php120.00 - 11088110881108811088️ 4/5
Served with the dipping sauce. (Milk Choco, Dark Choco, Toffee, Honey Cinnamon, Nutella)

Other products:

127849Oreo Smores Cookie Dough for Php160.00 - 11088110881108811088️ 4/5

It’s mouthwatering and tastes good! 128523 But there’s an UMAY factor. I suggest you shared it with someone and paired with coffee or tea without any sweetener to balance the sweetness of Overdoughs. If not a coffee or tea drinker, a drinking water will do.

Come and visit Overdoughs in these three branches: Ayala Malls The 30th, Century City Mall and S’ Maison at Conrad Hotel.
