Ovn Bread Co is located at the Lower Ground Floor, SM Aura Premier, C5 Road Corner 26th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

Ovn bread Co is a few steps away the store of Bread Talk. I was fascinated with their interior more so I entered. Even more interesting was a far lesser selection but done more creatively. For a change and to try something new 128522128077馃徎

I bought malunggay pesto - 90Php for 6 pcs of bread (not bad)

Next time I'll try their bibingka pie..

Next chapter of my Bread series.

OVN. The quaint bakery at SM Aura.聽 I remember this is one of the few shops open during the first few days of operation of Aura.聽

I remember the mall being crowded.聽 I think there was a show or something.聽 It wasn't that crowded downstairs,聽 some were upstairs clamoring with the crowds to get a glimpse of the celebrity.

Then i saw OVN.聽 The name is catchy,聽 a play on kryptograms (this one is really easy,聽 training in Kryptography optional).聽 I went in,聽 saw a couple of freshly baked bread.聽 The names they use for the pastries is straightforward,聽 no anagrams,聽 no wordplay.聽 Smart,聽 Juxtaposition of sorts.聽 One caught my eye, Bibingka Creme Brulee.聽 That is the daughter of Juan Dela Cruz and Lady Marmalade.聽 The pastry chef responsible for this fusion treat deserves a pat on the back.聽 Incorporating creme brulee aspects on a Filipino classic is innovative.聽

I've always liked biningka,聽 i wake up at ungodly hours to buy some during the Simbang Gabi season.聽 The smell of freshly baked kakanin always gets me.聽

Creme Brulee,聽 fancy and sounds sophisticated.聽 I always see this dessert when I'm binge watching Top Chef.聽 I find the blowtorching technique cute,聽 the finishing touches of the perfect brulee.聽

Now,聽 mix them together,聽 imagine bibingka pastry laced with a rich creamy vanilla custard.聽 One has to break the hard caramel on top to get to the creamy custard bibingka goodness.聽 The custard compliments the bibingka pastry so well,聽 it adds a little bit of vanilla flavor with subtle hints of sweetness.

I wish that OVN聽 add more variety in their bread.聽 That's just me,聽 some of their baked goods are awesome,聽 why not add more eh?

I wasn't thinking of making a review for this, but because it impressed me so much, i realized, work of art such as this should spread to others!

I just saw this while walking around SM Aura and had me interested with its bibingka creme br没l茅e. So i bought one, and another one which caught my attention is the chicken chowder pie. I bought it too.

I ate this at least 5 hours later but to my surprise, without even reheating them, it was so delicious!

The bibingka creme br没l茅e has mostly the texture of a creme br没l茅e but taste a little like bibingka. The sweetness was just right!

The chicken chowder pie taste good. Like a chicken pot pie. But not too creamy. Crunchy pie crust that tastes great with the chicken chowder.

Also, this is a very interesting bakeshop. Gives me the impression that it's filipino owned because of its interior and their products. Most of their products are either of filipino origin or promotes filipino products such as "benguet strawberry creme bun". Something like that.

It just feels great supporting another filipino, especially someone doing a great job providing other Filipinos with unique, interesting and delicious food!

PLEASE TRY OVN! IT WONT DISAPPOINT YOU!

Bibingka + creme br没l茅e is a perfect combo! The saltiness of the egg and cheese on the bibingka blends perfectly well with the sweet taste of the creme br没l茅e!!! I cant even resist not to have a few bites before taking a photo of it. Haha!

Whenever I'm in SM aura, I make sure to pass by Ovn to check if there's anything new/freshly baked bread. Another must-try is their cheesy ensaymada.

Just needed to pass by here before I head home last night

Almond soft buns looks a lot smaller now & at 40... I think it use to be pricier too ...loving it with every bite ... The soft , fluffy bun bread ,plus contrasting in texture with the crisp & lightly sweetened nutty almond top... Good alternative & less guilt laden to almond donuts.

This quaint bakeshop packs some awesome and interesting baked goodies :) my personal favorites are: their Salted Caramel Ensaymada, 3-Bite Dough Topped with almonds, and Chocolate Yema Cupcake. *thumbs up!* some people might think the prices are a bit pricey, but the taste and presentation compensates for that. :)

I love ovn so much! I even converted my friend! 128514 so whenever either of us is in SM Aura, we buy an extra calamansi muffin to share the next day. 128514 as I mentioned in my previous reviews, it is better than Real Coffee's 128517

Their 3-bite almond buns are also good. They also have an Oreo bun, but that didn't meet my expectations. I haven't tried their ensaymadas but they look very tempting!

I read a review that their pork buns are not that good, so I'm sticking to my favorites nalang 128514

Im on a roll of dislikes right now! But look at that cute bun! 128525128525128525

I tried the Street Barbecue Bun. I thought i'd be having an asado bun or something like that. This one was just weird. It was pork barbecue that didn't taste so good..

Should've just stuck to the Almond Three-Bite Buns

Dropped by my go to place for pasalubong to the fambam. Saved a whole lot of cash of buying them OVN's ensaymada instead of mary grace. But don't fret! The quality is really good and may even be better! Really soft bread and they have once with yema on top!

Besides the ensaymadas you guys have to try the mini mamon cheesecake for less than 50.00! If all cheesecakes could be this light!

They have many other breads to choose from and my gosh the price is super sulit! Pastries range from 45-65 pesos!

Have to try the footlong next time! Hahahha such a pig.

Still don't know where to eat after the client meeting last Saturday. I was confused with so many restos around me, only if I could try them all in one night. Not until my friend told me that he's not having dinner yet and he suggested to have our dinner in Mandaluyong.

Still, I got few pieces of their breads just to energize me for a bit. I got the Pulvoron bun or something, the special ensaymada, bibingka cream brul猫e and the one I couldn't recall. Everything was good especially the ensaymada with yema toppings!!! 128523 Too bad, my all time favorite Almond bun wasn't available that time. 128531

Better than the Calamansi Muffin from Real Coffee, Boracay! Because it has some sugar on top which balances the sourness of the calamansi.
