This restaurant served delectable oysters cooked in different styles at a reasonable price: Whenever I miss my hometown Iloilo, I always want to order a platter of grilled oysters! Too bad I was so excited to gobble them up and forgot to take a picture!

We also tried the beers. Belgian beers is all crazed and I had the pleasure of trying out the award winning Hoegaarden! It has sort of an herby aroma to it.. Pretty smooth! Stella has more of a crisp texture. You can find these

1. It was about 4 am when my sister and I strolled around Cubao after watching a gig of our acquaintance at Ngongis. We were hungry but we wanted to try something different despite the presence of fast food restaurants which were also open at that hour.

2. We discovered several customers outside a restaurant, mostly drinking beer so we decided to check it out.

3. It was Oyster Boy, the name of the restaurant. We opted to go inside instead of dining "al fresco" (and besides we didn't want to mingle with the drinking crowd). The interiors were quite nice and a bit posh, although a bit dark. Maybe because it was before the break of dawn so they I guess they didn't turn on all the lights.

4. I had the beef caldereta while my sister had Korean beef dish (as far as I remember). Mine was really good. The beef was really tender, and I even ate the chunks of onions and stuff. I wished I ordered an extra rice. My sister let me taste her dish and it was absolutely good too.

5. The price was a bit too steep for me, but it was OK. After all, minsan lang naman kumain jan. It's just for the experience of having a fancy dinner but in the wee hours of the morning... OK, a heavy breakfast. Haha. (I don't drink, BTW)
