You have to use Waze or Google map to find this good food spot in the hills of Bakakeng. I say good because food here is good to share and delicious. My order was this nashville chicken- 4 big chicken pieces coated heavy and with hot sauce for fiery goodness. I had to share this with my group so i can take some of their orders too: fried pork steak, and chicken veg salad.

I have tried the Biscuit and scrambled eggs with gravy and it was nice! Although a bit saltier. Their servings of fries is awesome for a very low price. The dark beer cheesecake is good!

Ozark is a worthwhile long drive from the City of Pine's center. Mid and Southern-American comfort dishes done perfectly with affordable price to boot.

I'm loving Ozark's Nashville Fried Chicken and Pulled Pork Sandwich.

The Nashville Fried Chicken is a spicy, butter milk coated fried chicken. Deliciously crunchy crust with the chicken meat nicely moist. Nicely seasoned with spicy heat perfect for the weather. Perfect with their freshly baked Biscuits. What I loved too was that their biscuits seems to be done the right way--- crumbly, dense, with a light crust. Smearing the biscuits with the wild honey simply added to the eating pleasure. Yummy with their coleslaw and huge side order of creamy -buttery mashed potatoes topped with gravy. A huge serving , good for two, just under 300 bucks.

Their BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich was also delicious. Loved the smokey, spicy, tender, and flavorful pulled pork stuffed in a sesame seed bun. The huge sandwich, just 150 bucks.

Their in-house brewed iced tea was perfect with the mains. Unlimited helpings, just 90 bucks.

American comfort food at best brought by the owners. An American and Fil-Am couple from the said American region who decided to relocate to Baguio and offer "authentic" mid/Southern American comfort dishes. More than just bringing good food, their noble mission of opening this establishment was to help local out-of-school and homeless youths in the area , who were interested in food service, by giving them jobs with the establishment.

The place is easily some 10 km from the city's center. Unusually far from where the "action" is. It sits right across St Louis University.

The best fried chicken ever! Served with dirty rice and biscuits (best eaten with honey).

Yes they have instagram worthy food, but the entire experience of eating here got ruined when I kind of had a food poisoning after. The main reason was their smoked hickory chicken, we decided to dine at night time for dinner and the ingredients weren't that fresh. I'll give one star to their homemade biscuits and another star to their beer cheesecake but that's all.

I went around Baguio to try eats that are not as famous as the strawberry taho, strawberry shortcake and ube halaya.. My first stop was ozark's diner to try their dark beer cheese cake. I enjoyed the cake! It's delicious and not too sweet. I like the level pa saltiness as well that balances the sweetness. Texture was the best! Reminds me CBTL's Chicago Cheesecake..

Dark beer cheesecake is simply the best. Ventilation inside the restaurant should be improved. Nice view of the SLU campus.

We ate our mid day lunch here at Ozark Diner. Seating capacity is approximately good for 25 to 30pax. Parking is only good for 4 -6cars. This restaurant is very popular for their cheese cake.

We ordered:
Hickory Smoked Chicken with mac & cheese on the side
Pork Chop with 2 sides: mac & cheese and mashed potato
Large Salad
Dark Beer Cheesecake

The Chef prepared the dishes by himself which makes the food very special. My hats of for the efforts of the chef. Unfortunately, we did not like our orders, except for their special "Dark Beer Cheesecake".

The baked cheese cake is very good, you would definitely ask for another slice. 127860128077128516128536127856

If you plan to visit, expect that the location is not very ideal for a restaurant. Thank God that the GPS was invented. If you will visit in the afternoon, beside the window is not so ideal, there are no shades to deflect the afternoon sun. One more thing, with the kitchen being arms length away from the tables, you may get a new scent of perfume. 128515

Virdict: we will definetely coming back for the yummy cheesecake 128515128077
