They do have these combos with their drinks where you could pair it with their Mini Matcha or Mini Chocolate Tart. I opted for the matcha one with their signature coffee. That cost P150 which is a pretty good deal. Their coffee was a bit strong but still a goodie. I added some sugar to balance the flavor in. The Matcha Tart was quite good. The tea taste wasn’t overpowering. The tart crust was rightly thick. It didn’t crumble much on the side, and held the filling well. The same goes for their Cheese Tart. I liked the whole mild tartiness of the cheese filling. It was so yummy that to be honest, I could have one more of that. To cap everything off, I tried their soft serve cheese ice cream too. It was a bit of a letdown. It had this icy texture instead of the usual creamy one. It did have a good dose of that tarty cheese flavor in.

Their anniv promo buy 1 take 1 ended yesterday and coz of the typhoon nobody seems to be on queue here unlike last year...

I find the quality this time better than last year but the top layer had a more pronouce orange taste than it should... taste like orange marmalade spread. Overall it was good.. better if let it chill before consuming.

The place is cool with 3 slots power outlet.

I recently found out that the soft serve ice cteam's already available in Pablo's Greenbelt branch so I instantly went to try it the other day.

I found it to be just okay. The cheese flavor was there but I didn't like it much. The ice cream melted rather quickly too.

Between this and Cow Cow Ice, the latter wins

Pablo recently opened in Greenbelt 5.
It has always the fad about this place. I never quite knew why.

So one Thursday night, some friends decided to try what the fuss is about. We ordered the original cheese tarts and got a cup of coffee 9749️. The coffee was quite good 128077🏻 but the cheese tart, I, I mean, we, are not a fan of it.

It’s not firm as it looks like. Naumay kami agad. 128533
It was not as we were expecting it to be.
IMO, maybe should have been frozen? Hehe.

But the soft serve 127846 I absolutely ♥️ not the cheese tart though.. it was such a let down for us..

Ranked from most liked to least liked:

1) Regular size Matcha cheese tart (I love the mochi and red bean inside the cheese tart)
2) regular chocolate cheese tart
3) matcha mini tart (more flavorful than the regular size but doesn't have mochi or red bean inside)
4) plain mini tart (more cheesy than the regular)
5) mini chocolate cheese tart
6) regular sized plain cheese tart (taste is too bland, overpowered by the flavor of the glaze)

The regular size tarts have a flaky crust (similar to croissants) that get soggy over time so it's best to eat it immediately and finish within a day or two. The crust of the mini ones are crunchier and thicker, but sometimes I taste the crust more than the cheese filling.

Overall I like the tarts but they are pricey. Hoarded when they were on sale (buy one take one).

After the long lines have subsided since opening day, we trooped to Greenbelt 5 to finally try Pablo! I had huge expectations so I decided to take it slow... just have a bite...so I had a Mini! After all, I don’t want to get myself too involved with this very tempting creation. The melted cheese center is nothing but heaven, and the chewy crust somehow takes you back to reality that this is after all, just a pastry. A truly awesome one for that matter. I do wish I got the bigger size. For newbies to Pablo, I would suggest to get the bigger sizes of Pablo’s cheese tart. One dilemma though is the P120 price tag that’s quite pricey for this small piece of goodness gracious soft sweetness.

To match the sweetness, I got myself one cold cup of Pablo’s Signature Coffee, also at P120. I find the brew quite strong (typical of Japanese coffee, it actually reminded me of UCC’s signature blend)

Pablo’s Greenbelt 5 has very limited seating (I remember seeing only 5 seats or so) so you have to eat somewhere if you can’t wait to grab a bite.

Pretty happy that there is a Pablo branch that is more accessible to me now that the Greenbelt store is open. It's mostly a counter and kitchen with very limited seating (around four stools off to the side). The limited seating made the whole coffee + mini tart promo quite awkward 'cause it kind of makes you assume that you can order coffee and tart and sit down to enjoy them. Unless your timing is on point, that will be pretty hard to do.

I dropped by twice since the store's opening (today and last Saturday). During my first visit, my family and I took advantage of the Buy 1, Take 1 promo and bought two regular cheese tarts to take home. I already knew based on older Pablo reviews that to compare the one we have here to the one I got to try in Japan would be a mistake, but I guess it's something that can't be helped.

My parents were the first ones to try the cheese tart when we got home and five minutes later, they called me to ask, "Kala ko ba regular yung binili mo? Bakit lasang mangga?" 128528 Yep, the glaze on top of the tart made them think that regular flavor = mango flavor. When I cut my own piece, I saw that there was too much glaze on top of the tart. I took a girl and got some of the crust and the cheese without the glaze and they both tasted okay. Texture sort of reminded me of Goldilock's' egg tart.

For my visit today. I got the chocolate mini cheese tart and I was lucky since they were fresh out of the oven when I came. I ended up liking the chocolate one more than the regular one, though I feel like the chocolate flavor overshadowed the cheese. Also, the crust wasn't as firm as I'd hoped and broke as I was taking my tart out of the bag.

Pablo Greenbelt branch recently opened with a great promo, buy one get one Cheese Tarts. For the price of 499pesos you get two regular size cheese tarts. The premium cheese tart and mini cheese tarts were not included in the promo. They have a small space at Greenbelt 5 near the bridgeway to Dela Rosa Street and to Ayala Museum leading to Landmark. They only have bar stools good for five or six people. Front staff was very patient with my questions, was surprised there was no line. Due to the promo, wait time was 3 hours to get your tarts. I paid at around 5:30pm and returned 9pm (as scheduled by Pablo) after watching a movie at the nearby Greenbelt 3. Tarts were nicely packaged and placed snuggly on a medium sized paper bag. I like the taste of the tart. It was light and creamy. The cheese topped with apricot jelly with a signature Pablo logo. The crust was flaky and delicious. With the BOGO promo it was worth splurging, on regular price, I need a bit more thinking. Probably during special occassions.
