I liked the way they have available coat racks per table. The rather limited buffet (for dinner) may not be commensurate to the rather reasonable price of P1,200 nett per pax, but other hotels can offer much more choices at about the same price (for promo offers). But the staff were attentive (although the rather few diners may have allowed the cheerful waitresses to attend to us more). The place is just right for couples who wish to dine in peace and have a good view of Manila. Their basement parking is the only sore spot, but that goes well with other hotels in Malate - tight and with low clearance. Their house wine (Vina Maipo from Chile when we ate) is offered at P1,950 per bottle, but costs only less than P400.00 when you scan it through the trusty Vivino app. It costs P395 per glass.

we had dinner here for a difference feel and ambiance, 128541
hmmm.. not packed and the place is nice, fast internet too, the staffs were attentive but the prepping time for our food was a bit long, so i thought that they may have some deliciously odd or whatever you may call it an out of this world taste... but, the beer battered fish and fries plus clam chowder soup and pasta al pesto is hmmm.. ordinary, heheh,

I stay at the Pan Pacific because I like the service here. I will admit, the food is not the best. The breakfast buffet is okay. Some food is good and some is average. The daily lunch menu is okay and the dinner buffet isn't bad. The lunch buffet is typically good. The crepes are the best part. They also have a fresh seafood grill so you pick your items like nice big prawns and they grill them up for you. The snacks at the lounge in the evening are also hit or miss. All in all, the food isn't bad, but it isn't spectacular either. For the price, it should be far better. Oh, the sweets are typically really good. If the breakfast buffet is included, go for it. The 800 pesos for the lunch isn't bad if you can eat a lot.

Last saturday night, bf and I decided to have dinner at pacific lounge. We were actually kind of full so we weren't able to try everything. Foods were just okay- there were ribs, different kinds of rice, breads, pizza, a salad station, a few meat selections and a dessert station and crepe. It was decent but nothing was special. Staffs were nice though. And the view from this 21st floor restaurant was nice.
