Dropped by at Palmera's for a late dinner. We decided to go here since this was one of the nearest place near my clinic with decent desserts and good food. And my high school friend owns the place:)

We got mushroom salpicao, Beef Calderata, and two brownie ala mode ( one for hubby and me, and one for my father-in-law). The Mushrooms salpicao was tasty and garlicky and the meat of the Beef Calderata was so tender and the sauce was simply delish. The brownies on our brownie ala mode was warm and gooey, a perfect pair with the vanilla ice cream. My dad-in-law finished his dessert till the last crumb.

The service wasn't that good though. Hubby asked another cardboard coster for Gabe since he was playing with the coaster from hubby's shake. But the waitress just said that they ran out of cardboard coasters. It's just paper, pagdadamutan pa?! Hubby then commented that good thing their food tasted good because they have a consistently lousy service. Hay:(

Anyway, we enjoyed the food but not the service, as always.

The view is definitely amazing. A view that will take you through old times. And the fish pond inside also is so cool with its giant fishes! :) the food is ok.
