Someone told me I got to try Pampas and being a foodie I am, I followed his advice and went here right away. This spot serves Latin inspired dishes, its price points on the high side and its ambiance giving you a relax and chill vibe.
I was here with two other friends and we shares everything together. Overall the experience was alright but nothing spectacular really. Some orders were oversold the staff and we fell for it.
For our mains we got two, one of them was Beef Falda (Php 570) a slow charcoal roasted US Beef Short plate. Its meat parts were really soft but it had so much fat. Almost half of it were really useless to eat. This also lacked seasoning as taste was rather bland.
We also shared Seafood Skewer, an overpriced order at Php 620 for a stick of a grilled salmon, sole, tuna, squid and prawn finished with Argentinian spiced oil. One piece per seafood for that tag is absurd really. And it wasn’t even breathtaking bites.
My friends and I got a side, Spinach Gratin (Php 190), the only savory pick that made sense to me. Spinach was prepared well and paired with loads of cheese.
For dessert it was not an expensive trip. We got Oscuro (Php 180), a nice bittersweet dark chocolate caked with sweet Vanilla Ice Cream and Tres Leches (Php 190) which was lighted up at first since it had Bailey’s in it. I liked this one too despite it being incredibly rich.
Is it worth trying this Pampas? Maybe not enough.

Pampas has always been part of my long list of restaurants to try. It opened around a year ago and it's funny how I've always wanted to go but also didn't always have the luxury of time to do so. Today, I finally did.
Pampas has this very classy feel to it and it might've been because of their classy setup or interior. I liked it. It seemed like a speakeasy place that's perfect for dates, catch-ups, even for alone time!!! It's a very peaceful place for me.
It wasn't easy to choose the food but thank God everything was good for sharing! I personally loved the Lamb Ribs!!! It was recommended by one of the servers and glad he did!!! The lamb ribs gave the "fall off the bones" experience i've been longing for. The Potato Gratin that we ordered on the side was also as good as it was promised.
Overall, Pampas had exceeded all of my expectations and more!!!! I loved everything about it and I'm sure to be back soon 🤗

Before I ended my night, I went to Pampas Latino Bistro and Bar to chill for a little bit. I am planning to have at least 2 drinks but I ended up with their dessert. I cannot resist the Tres Leches with Bailey's Cream and Cacao Cream Trifle. For Php190.00 I got one.
While waiting, I noticed the place is in low light with good and nice interior. Good for more intimate talk. They also used mirror technique to look Pampas more spacious.
The servers were very attentive and courteous. When I went outside, one of the servers follow me, to assist me and prepare the table and light the candle. Impressive service! I hope it will be consistent. 🏼
Tres Leches with Bailey's Cream and Cacao Cream Trifle - ️️️️️ 5/5
