I'm putting my review for Filipiniana here since it is not listed on the restaurant list but it is still right beside it in Solaire's Food Court. We liked the Pancit Canton served by this unassuming Food Court tenant. The serving was huge good enough for two. The flavor was not your typical Pancit. It had tofu, squid / fish balls, vegetables and some meat. It was served fresh and pipping hot. It was bit oily though but overall we enjoyed it. Wait time around 10 minutes. Senior cards honored.

Had their curry chicken fried rice. LOL. The serving surprised me. That was not just for one person! I wish they had a sign that said good for 4!

You know the big rice platters they have when we have parties. Yah it was that big! Haha

Sulit though but I was alone.... And I had to call for backup ( family ) to help me eat it all up.

Taste wise. It was pretty good. Not too spicy so yeah perfect for me !

Thanks for the free chicharon! 128523

Can't decide between Nasi Goreng and Mee Goreng so I decided to get both while Wifey had the Beef Rendang. Loved them all! Serving was really big which justifies the hefty price tag. Both Goreng are good for 3-4 persons, and the Rendang is good for 2. Sulit! At that point I was contemplating kung paano ko pagkakasyahin sa tiyan ko yun lahat 128514.

The Nasi Goreng is good in itself that you don't need another viand to go with it.

Mee Goreng had a slight kick of spice but very tolerable, probably because of it's slight sweetness? Really good noodle dish this one.

Beef Rendang! Wow! Nagsisi ako bakit hindi ito ang inorder ko. Nabitin tuloy ako kasi nakikihingi lang kay misis. Tender Beef! Large Serving! Almost reminiscent of Beef Caldereta but with a slight twist. Next time I'll get this one instead para hindi bitin. 128513

127835Beef Rendang w/ Basmati Rice
Happy tummy for less than Php300! It was spicier than I had expected but the raisins balanced out the heat. Rendang was soft, flavorful & the rice was just delicious!

We were still having our ingress for the event in the grand ballroom, until it was time for lunch.

The food court in the casino is the nearest dining area, and it took me a while to finally settle for what am I going to eat. I've been thinking of having kimchi fried rice or have Malaysian food or just get a chicken with mashed potato. Then realizing that kimchi has strong flavor for my mouth, I decided to get the Nasi Goreng instead.

And man, it was great! Upon getting my plate, "ang daming kanin!" But then, moments later, naubos ko rin siya. Spicy, salty and flavorful, just the way I like it. 128523

This food had me going for hours, I had my dinner at already 11pm. 128517

Mom ordered Beef Rendang with Basmati rice, but I got my meal from another chain just so we can compare dishes. So I just tasted a little bit of what mom was eating, and yeah it was great! The spiciness is just moderate (well it is spicy but not too spicy hot). The beef is tender and the sauce is really flavorful. You should give it a try.128077

Curry meals are a bit spicy for my taste. But yummy nonetheless. I have to try the bittergourd with shrimps next.

It was my family's second time to visit the Solaire Food Court. It has classy interiors with constellation-like light fixtures to be consistent with the Solaire brand.

It is Sunday lunch time and it is only half filled. There are five options for cuisines and a sixth stall for coffee and dessert. Expect to spend at least P200 per person.

As I am gearing up for my trip to KL in a couple of weeks, I ordered the Beef Rendang with Basmati Rice. It had a side of mango chutney.

Although the viands in the Pan Asian stall seemed to be presented in warmers, the rendang was cold. Good thing it was the right level of spicy (I like them spicy hot!) The basmati rice had a good texture but unfortunately wasn't warm as wellI was too hungry to ask them to warm it up for me.

The mango chutney was a bit too salty for my taste. I'm used to Indian mango chutney, which was sweet-spicy. I wonder if Malaysian chutney was meant to be salty-spicy?

If eating in the Solaire Food Court, best to grab a few bottles of water in the casino grounds (they're free!) as drinks in the food court are quite pricey.

Also best that each person in the group orders different items so you can try the different cuisines! (As you will notice I will be posting another review for a different dish!)
