So there is indeed a Matcha greentea craze everywhere. Every single drinks, pastry, dessert, meal are starting to have a matcha infused variant.
As I was searching for the latest variant of matcha. I threw my pokeball and was able to capture this rare Pokemon. Roooaaaarrr Greenteamon! Gotta Catch Em All! Sorry just really excited for the latest release of the pokemon game and this greenteamon is really a great pokemom name hahaha..
Found in Pan De Manila as I was being attracted by the smell of morning fresh baked pandesal. How could you resist a hot pandesal in the morning! As I was getting my usual bag of pandesal, this poster of greentea mamon caught my attention. Greenteamon as it was named, really got me curious since I'm a certified Matcha lover.
So the greenteamon got that matcha bitterness that I fell in love with but also got the bit of sweetness of a banana cake. It was more of a banana cake for me with matcha powder mixed to it. This is something that matcha lover will love but don't expect too much.
Overall this is a great addition to Pan De Manila list of items. If you haven't tried please also do try their Cafe Con Leche they are good! Malunggay pandesal and their pesto dip are also a great combination. Pan De Manila is indeed a good addicting morning habit.

Don't you just love the smell of freshly baked pandesal in the morning? I know I do. Which is why dropping by the closest Pan de Manila branch is such a guilty pleasure.
I buy about half a dozen large pieces on a good day.
There are ton of other things you can get too! Cookies, muffins, bread, peanut butter, garlic butter, etc.
Personally, I love their Garlic Butter. I usually buy a container and it'll last a week especially when my cousins are in town.
