Pan De Manila’s newest pandesal — Pan De Almond. When I bought wheat pandesal for my baon, I got so excited when I saw this right before paying. OMG, ALMONDS!!!!!! 🤗 For 28php, it’s not that pricey that you would think first before buying it. So I got one so I can try it 128521

The verdict? It was ohhhkay. Not that bad but not super good.

The pandesal wasn’t that soft but I can just imagine how this would taste if this was still freshly made or was re-heated. If the bread was still soft and warm. Ahhhh!!!

The almond + sugar topping was kind of bitin. I wish they added more almonds and lesser sugar. Because it tastes too sweet that you don’t get to appreciate the almonds anymore. They should have also used sliced almonds instead (daming alam, Ruth!! 128514128514). I think this will taste good with some cream cheese? 🤔

Will I get this again? Maybe but not too soon. 128518 I’m happy with their pesto pandesal and my usual wheat pandesal + creamy peanut butter. And yay because they finally have small wheat pandesal!!! Small is 5.00/5.50 while the regular is 8.00/8.50. Idk why but the prices are higher here in BGC! 128530

And oh, the popsicles are still available and they also have iced coffee now!! 128513

I was in 7eleven when I read Clarissa P's review about this popsicle and I left a comment that I will go to Market Market. I suddenly realized that there's Pan de Manila nearby. So, here I am with this Dragon Fruit popsicle. I liked the milky flavor. Yum!

Wala ng avocado! ☹️

To the brilliant mind who conceptualized Pan de Manila's Fruitcicle.....

Whoever you are, you killed it! This is the best-tasting avocado infused frozen treat I've had in my lifetime. You know the avocado infused milk snack your mom used to make when you were still in your nappies? This is it...except that it is in frozen form.

Wow. Just Wow.

Your avocado loving foodie,

Reich

new pan de manila prices went up. boo. the big pandesal still beats the small one - fluffy even if it was sitting at my desk for hours.

Tried their new churros last friday night 128529 It tasted like their usual pandesal na ginawang "pudding" just with a different shape and extremely sweet. And for 10 pesos, not worth it kahit try lang. If you're craving for churros, might as well get the REAL crispy deep fried churros. 128521

since i buy pandesal and other types of bread here almost everyday lately let me share their doughnut and pandesal with palaman selection.

they have a polvoron doughnut. the white one, right side in, top shelf, lone doughnut. will ask the bf to try this soon. he likes the alcaponish doughnut so far.

bought 2 cheese palaman pandesal and a few basic pandesal this morning. 25 pesos for the cheese palaman is a tad expensive but the bf and i still loved it

pandesal was warm.

will try the corned beef palaman pandesal next time.

My favorite breadshop, with lots of bread choices and pastries, plus an option of drinks and spreads either from other manufacturers or made by the store itself.

I was thrilled to find a bakery near our office :) I can always buy hot pandesal and my favorite Pan De Coco. They even sell palaman by the sachet! Try their peanut butter and coco jam. They're perfect for merienda ;)

Their pandesals are not served warm!!!:(

Other than that, this is merienda heaven. It's got your kape, pandesal, peanut butter, garlic pesto butter, and chocolait all in one place.

The bad: they don't usually have 25 cent coins, so prepare to give involuntary tips because they only provide change in 1-peso denominations. Also, did i mention that their pandesals are not served warm?:(

You can have it reheated but it takes 4-5minutes, which will feel like forever if you're on a 15min break.

Okay I can't believe I typed this much for a pandesal place!
