Chocolate Marble Waffle // 2-pc Chicken
--as we're both working on 9-5 jobs and on different areas too, our only chance to catch up after a stressful day is through food (TYL for having us both live in the South and exactly 20mins apart)
Pancake House is one of my go-to place, and tbh, eversince I stepped foot on this resto, I have never ever (did I say never?) tried any of their pancakes nor waffles. SO MUCH FOR ITS NAME EH?
It's never too late, and better late than never, but well our hungry stressed out selves got us ordering what I've never tried and a lunch meal on a midnight snack (my boyfriend's appetite is consistent, SNS)
Another reason why this will always be one of my comfort haven

Chicken Bites (Fingers, really) with Spaghetti FTW! Only P198. And you get the same batter as their pan chicken, at a lower price, in a convenient form and, finally, in an, ummmm, less unhealthy way. Haha. Why? Coz it uses chicken breast and it's boneless .
I like that Pancake House introduces new things on a regular basis, which is a great hallmark of a resto--- innovative and updated (thus keeping itself relevant or maintaining its cult classic resto status ). Featured in their new product line up also are Spicy Maple Danggit, Spicy Chicken Fingers, Mac N Cheese with Crispy Bacon, and Chicken Bites with Mac N Cheese.
Funny that I'd been living nearby for maybe 8 months before I finally tried this branch. One weekday morning, during one of those sick and tired leaves, I went to have brunch here, and I fell in LIKE.
Love the view when you face Burgos Circle when seated inside! With their floor to ceiling glass panels and best angle of the Circle, there's a fabulous view and lots of natural light inside. This store also benefits from the latest interior design so it enjoys elements of the classic Pancake House design but with newer elements (see pic), like modern external art, neon sign, copper light fixtures and even faux wood floor tiles, really enhancing the homey atmosphere of thus branch. It's got decent space, so even during busy hours, I've been able to sit down.
For pet lovers, they have adjacent covered outside seating so you can chill there with your pet. Though not air-conditioned, the breeze is decent.
Seems the Max's group cornered this former showroom lot, and converted it to a showcase of their restos, now clustered under the name, Burgos Eats. There's a huge bench in the outside center where big groups can sit down, smoke (I assume), drink and/or congregate with their loved pets. So there's also T Boy, Krispy Kreme with Drive thru, Jamba Juice, and Yellow Cab plus I think one more resto might open. This is a nice place to hang for those looking to chill, eat familiar food, and not have to break the bank to have decent food.
And if you don't want to try new things, there are always the Pancake House breakfast classics...
> Beef Tapa (sweet profile) with garlic rice and egg plus salsa
> Golden Brown Waffles (make sure you order the country sausage on the side which are awesome), make sure it's crunchy coz it's best enjoyed that way (still unbeaten as the best resto waffle for me)
> Daing na Bangus also with garlic rice and egg, plus tocino and hamonado style longganisa options, too
For their classic meals I usually look no further than Pan Chicken, one of my highest rated fried chickens in MM. Don't forget that you can have one free refill of their heavenly buttery gravy that's in my top 3 favorite gravy's too! But they have healthier options, pastas, salads and sandwiches. Plus they allow conversion of your rice to brown rice for a minimal fee.
I'll rate this cumulatively of my 5 or so visits. Today was just meh sa service. Despite their many head count. I've had MUCH better service here than this morning's.

Had breakfast at the newly opened Pancake House in Burgos Circle!! And I'm loving the new design/interior! Chill and relaxed -- much more homey!! ️ I like this branch more than their Stopover branch (but service there is better! ).
We got the Perfect Match (Bacon, Hashbrown, Eggs, and toasted bread + a cup of hot tea or brewed coffee) and Ham & Cheese Omelette. Serving size is really generous! Perfect for mornings when you just want to eat a lot and have a heavy breakfast! 🏼
Service was just okay. Staffs were nice but kinda slow.
