Cheeseburger was OK. Service is a thumbsdown. Servers are not organized. They even asked us if the plate they're serving are ours or not. 128531

I was surprised that there was a Pancake House here. While waiting for my mom's regular checkup, we decided to grab some grilled cheese sandwiches. They're the best! They remind me of my childhood (we've been frequenting the Greenhills branch since I was in grade school) and they're awesome til today. I also got their "Best Tacos in Town". Simple yet delicious (and a messy eat). 128077128077128077 My tummy is happy. 128522

Waited for 30 minutes only to be told that our orders weren't relayed to the kitchen immediately. Imagine, napansin lang nilang di pa nasisimulan yung orders after we followed up for the third time. They were telling us that nagloko yung machine kaya hindi na-input yung orders namin.

Seriously, ENLIGHTEN ME. Ganun ba talaga yun? I was expecting that a small branch would delegate orders to the kitchen manually and not through some machine. And how come those we came later than us got their orders fast?

I'm not convinced. I feel (99.99%!) that it was HUMAN ERROR. Could have let it pass if they admitted it but they kept stammerring and giving delayed and different answers whenever were asking what happened.

They only offered serving soup and we thought that it was the consolation, but then I remembered we ordered soup. You don't say???

Sa inis namin we had the orders readied for take out instead and waited for another 10 minutes. Not in the mood to give an in-depth taste review when you get shitty service and half-hearted apologies. If I could give 0/5 I would.

What we got (none of them wasn't able to make up for the bad service):
Almondiga Soup
Salmon Fillet (I can be tamed with this, but this wasn't good. Bleh.)
Seafood Pasta (forgot the name)
Pancakes and Waffles for my little brother

promo for their Salisbury steak.
P350 buy 1 take 1.

big patty topped with mushroom, comes with rice, corn as sides, and light gravy.

beef patty tasted artificial (with lots of extenders) and chewy. gravy tasted funny.
drowned the dish with gravy, added know and hot sauce.

fried chicken was good tho...

Love their Spaghetti! 128522

For rice meals, I recommend the Salisbury Steak meal or the Pork Vienna. I believe the Pork Vienna is served with mayo as the sauce but you can ask them to substitute it with gravy.

Lunch time was upon us, and we needed to dine somewhere. Good thing this Pancake House's orange signage greeted us. Had one of my usual orders, Fish Rolls, which was crispy and delicious with the sauce. Good value for money 128522

Went here after my cousin's visit to the doctor last January.
The place isn't that big. It's actually located at the bottom floor of the carpark.
I ordered the Banana Nutella Crisp Bacon Toast, which was new that time. I liked it even though it was too sweet (obviously it was since it had nutella in it 128540).
My cousin got pancakes and it came with pink powdered sugar shaped like a heart on the side. So cute! 128149
We also ordered the club sandwich. Meh. There's nothing extraordinary about it given it's price. The potato salad on the side was also bland.

Will try their savory dishes next time 128522

I wish Pancake House coffee was better. For the price they charge, they could at least try to improve this.

My food experience with pancake house has always been quite negative in the past, thus, i never bothered setting foot in the establishment again. That is until my boyfriend decided to convince me to give it another try since his family frequents the place for breakfast or lunch. I was surprised to see the interiors to be new and inviting. Also, the variations of pancakes like red velvet pancake, cookie butter and key lime (photo) drew me to the place even more. Their service has improved drastically as well. The key lime was pretty good (fell in love with the meringue on top) but could be better. I was expecting it to be more tangy. The brewed coffee was wonderful and the 11peso refill was even better! I will definitely be dropping by again soon and looking forward to more of their unique pancakes 9786

What a nice breakfast. spaghetti isn't the normal breakfast fare but im glad i ordered this instead of pancakes.

Sauce was meaty and not sweet. Lots of pasta to fill you up and help you function until that next meal.

Their cookie butter pancake didn't taste good at all. The pancake itself was small and bland to think that it costs 258php. They are very stingy with the cookie butter. I asked for an extra serving of cookie butter and it would cost 85php. No, thank you. I just think that they should have the best pancakes because the shop is called Pancake House.

Once again, this review is only for service because food has always been consistent at every branch I visit, which is very good and comforting.

Upon entrance, servers were quick to greet and help me. My simple requests are accommodated and they made my visit very comfortable. They also made it easy for us to order for delivery while we were staying in the hospital.

Great job!

Orange Pancake Tower- six pieces of the fluffy, soft, yummy pancakes with whipped cream cheese, sprinkled with powdered sugar ,and fantastic orange syrup.

A favorite breakfast treat of mine from Pancake House.

I love the pancakes with the light creamcheese. The orange syrup has orange rind bits. Heavy as this dish is to the tummy (6 pieces of pancakes), it tastes light and refreshing. Right sweetness , sweet citrusy taste.

One of the good offerings of Pancake House which I'll always enjoy eating.

I've always been a big fan of Pancake House so when i heard that there was a branch opening at CSMC, i was pretty psyched. I was able to try it out when my dad was confined in the hospital, but i ended up disappointed.

The great thing about Pancake House within the premises of the hospital is that you can have decent meals while confined, or visiting someone who's confined, or waiting for a check-up.

The place itself isn't that bad, you can eat inside or just take-out food. The thing that disappointed me was Pancake House's service...

I ordered take-out so that I could eat in my dad's room, so i sat on a bench inside the restaurant waiting for my order. None of the waitresses offered me a seat at a table so that I could wait for my order there. None of them also offered me any water. I would like to think that this is common service courtesy in a restaurant, even if the customer is not dining in.

Also, since I had to wait a bit for my order (my favourite Classic Pan chicken), I decided to just busy myself on my phone. One of the waitresses would always look at me as she passed by. I'd like to think she wasn't glaring at me since i was a paying customer, not someone just lounging about.

I understand the stress of working in a busy area like a hospital, with so many people calling to order, but I do wish this branch would improve their service and mannerisms. The other Pancake House branch I used to frequent was not always full either, but the waiters and waitresses were always nice and polite.

Ordered takeout while my dad was in the hospital.

I got the roast chicken dinner. It tasted just like snr chicken but it had gravy with it. The gravy was pretty good but personally,I like the pan chicken better.

Sadly and disappointingly this visit was short of Epic Fail!

Deciding to get our pancake fix ( and my favorite Grilled Cheese Sandwich) for breakfast, Pancake House came into mind.

We ordered our favorite Sunrise Pancake Orange Tower, Grilled Cheese Sandwich , and Bacon Sidings.

The Grilled Cheese Sandwich came first. This has always been a favorite - Except now! The sandwich looked the same, but we couldn't taste the cheese! It tasted very flat. More like Grilled Buttered Toast with Mayo. Seems like the cook forgot to throw in the Cheddar.

Then came the Orange Tower Pancake and the bacon sidings. No problem with the pancakes--perfect as usual.

But the Bacon was a different story. The bacon looked crispy and cooked well (not shriveled ). But, tasted very bland (hmmm.. Bland is an understatement)! Remember the cooking tip that if you dip raw bacon in water just before before frying it prevents the bacon from shriveling ? I guess they must've soaked the bacon strips for hours thus removing the flavors! It was like biting into crispy paper!

We did complain to our waiter (who apologized and promised to report this to the kitchen).

I hope that they truly look into this. After all the establishment has to live to its name and reputation. Perhaps in the near future, a visit to Pancake House will be a different better story.
