Tried their Salisbury Steak for the first time and it was decent. Their Banana Walnut Pancake/Waffle is a must try. I'm an avid fan. 128525 Haha! Also, their crews are very warm and attentive when taking orders.

Everything that we ordered were yummy: Mushroom Soup, Taco, Pan Chicken with Rice, Burger Steak with Spaghetti, and Classic Pancakes (kids menu)... However, it's quite pricey, it seemed like we ate in a premium restaurant.

Visited this branch today. Omg. I was really annoyed with one of the staff! I called him 3 times and he just waved a hand at me. First, he acknowledged by waving at me. Second, while he was on the counter one of the chefs told him i was calling him and he was like yeah i know. Lastly, i called him again and he walked past my table! To my irritation, i called the other guy john, he was nice and took our orders. Even the other staff who was in a white uniform was really nice. I didn't catch the name of the rude waiter because he wasn't wearing a name tag. Talk about customer service.

Btw, they do not serve roast chix anymore! :((

Splurged a bit today and got the fiesta taco salad. Splurge because when I first ordered this years ago, it cost under a hundred pesos. Now it's at 239! I still love it though. Lettuce, tomato, onion, beans, chicken, nachos, in a taco shell bowl with their special dressing.

Following this with some blueberry pancakes to satisfy the sweet tooth.

Again, because the place is almost always packed, service can be a bit slow. It takes them a while to refill your drinks or to get a waiter's attention.

Late breakfast while waiting for the doctor. The reason why I ordered the house set meal? The taco! Still a favorite. Spaghetti's not bad and chicken is sometimes a lottery since sometimes it's a bit dry and tough

Best taco in town (it's the name of the dish) kamo? It's good but wouldn't go that far as saying it's the best. For p107 pesos for 1 taco, hindi siya Sulit for me. Enough said

Got in early enough to beat the lunchtime crowd to get a table right away. Bigger groups have a harder time getting a table since the place fills up pretty fast.

Hot roast chicken was a bit meh. Would have been better served piping hot.

Tacos are still good though

Soup of the day is cream of asparagus. I liked the dash of cayenne pepper on top because it gave the soup a little kick. That said, am not entirely sold on spicy cream soups :D the fresh asparagus in the soup was nice but would've been better puréed into the soup itself. It feels as if it was a generic cream soup base and they just threw in the asparagus.

The hot roast chicken was a wee bit bland today. Smothering it in gravy does help boost the flavor.

Their tacos are still good though and a dash of pepper sauce really highlights the flavor.

They changed their menus since my last visit so I was a bit surprised by the price increase. My favorite fiesta taco salad is a bit too pricey for someone on a budget. Maybe next payday I'll come back for it.

Its saddening that most establishments which have lasted for more than 10-20 years don't innovate or improve their business. One prime example would be KFC. Another would be Pancake House. Visit any branch and it would be impossible not to complain about the service. Be it being slow or lack of being heedful to the customers needs. Had some Steamed Fish with mintsau sauce (P229), Pan Chicken Special set (P246 w/ free iced tea) and corn dog (P115) for the family. Steamed Fish was not that flavorful because the garlic was overpowering. Corn dog was a fave for my 2 year old but their chicken is just underrated. Most customer have ordered a meal with their chicken. Have tried their new pancake which was sinful and palatable. Their shakes are yummy as well. Their movie poster on the wall is always a treat, if only there were more Animated flicks to make it a bit kid friendly.

Unfortunately, nothings changed with regards to their customer service. Background music was almost non-existent. Price somewhat stiff for the portions. One has to raise their arm for more than 45sec (or a min at times) just to get the attention. Staff are always polite though. One of the waiters thought I ordered brewed coffee, which belonged to the pleasant lady beside our table. Total bill was less than P650. What bothers this reviewer is where did the P47.20 service charge go? Much like the tax money that we all pay. But thats another story in itself. ;-)

My breakfast last December 31, 2013, feeling healthy and all after eating this tuna sandwich with potato salad. Good thing they make a quality sandwich. The bread is great, veggies taste fresh, and the tuna sandwich is filling plus the potato salad in the side is delicious. Though it took forever to serve our dishes but its okay because i got satisfied with my dish. Yum 128523128523127838. Happy New Year! Oh well belated. Hahaha 128522

Make sure you're not hungry or in a hurry when you dine here. Soup took about 20 minutes to be served. Food took around 30. Surprisingly, the bill arrived within 2 minutes. (To note, we arrived at around 11 and the place wasn't even at full capacity.)

As for the food, it's okay. It's what you'd expect from Pancake House.

Pancake House, a great place to hangout. The place is clean and the service was great.
The beef tapa was great. Well it's a bit pricey but delicious.
The Caramel Banana Walnut Waffle, it is sweet and I like it. It is one of my favorite waffles.

Aside from pancakes and waffles, Pancake House serves one the best breakfast meals and other hearty meals that I’m sure everyone would enjoy. 128536

No fancy dinner, too, but a simple, home-cooked-like meal instead. I’m thinking arroz a la Cubana — savory ground beef and pork with fried saba bananas, fried eggs and plenty of rice. Overall, I liked my food but I think it could be a bit spicier. I don't have any qualms about it, but I just have to point this out, why so expensive?

Anyhow, it was a nice meal. Pancake House still remains to be included on the line-up of my favorite restaurants. 128516127859
