Tapsilog 128525 Ate here bec I was waiting for my turn at the salon. Service was terrific, can't say the same for the egg. Partly my fault bec I didn't tell them how I liked it cooked, but they didn't ask either.

The staff are super nice and accomodating. The food was served fast. I ordered tuna sandwich (Php 151) and house iced tea (Php 56). Nothing special about them. Food was okay. However, I find their potato salad (came with the sandwich) bland. Will probably come back to try the pancakes and waffles.

Good food. Good service. Reasonable prices. The peach waffle and candy-coated pancakes were delicious. Just don't drench it with the syrup.

My dad saw a billboard on EDSA advertising Pancake House' eggs benedict. So last Sunday we decided to give it a go.

My dad ordered his eggs ben and I opted for a healthier choice of spicy grilled chicken breast on top of some rice pilaf.

When we entered at 10:10 am, the restaurant was half full but by the time my order came out at around 10:30 am the place was packed!

My chicken was pounded real thin which I presume is why it was so dry. My rice pilaf was actually quite tasty until I got to the last of the rice and saw black grease spots on my rice. It wasn't on the whole dish but just in that tiny bit of rice. I believe it was burnt remains on the grill where they cooked my rice. Totally ruined my meal :(

As for my dad's eggs ben...I had already finished my meal before they brought out his food. That was at 11:00 am. It took them 40 minutes. What irked me more was that I noticed that the other tables who placed their orders after us got their food way before my dad got his breakfast.

When we asked the waiter why it took so long, she replied that it's very difficult to poach an egg and it took a few tries to get it right. Sigh.

I apologize for the influx of posts! I am making up for all the weeks I wasn't able to post. Repenting for my sins! 128591

A couple of weeks ago, Karl S and I had a casual meeting at Robinsons Manila and had lunch at Pancake House. I had been craving for their bacon waffles a few days before, so this was perfect!

There's something magical about their whipped butter and syrup! Saraaaap. 128523

I think the only problem with Pancake House—not just this branch, it seems pretty common in most of their branches—is that it takes a while for you to get your bill after you ask for it. Also, it's pretty difficult to even catch the attention of the servers. 128533 That's from a lot of my experiences, anyway.

Fiesta Taco Salad - mixed greens, chicken bits, kidney beans whatever that is, corn chips, grated cheddar, on a giant taco served with special dressing.

It was ok, I kinda liked it but I was expecting it to taste like a taco but in salad form. Well, it didn't, so they shouldn't have called it a taco salad. Even the dressing was not at all taco-ish. It was sweet and sour vinaigrette.

Although my mom and I finished the salad, I still had to have the "best taco in town" I was craving for - I broke it into pieces and turned it into a salad.... Now that's what a taco salad should taste like!

I wanted to try the key lime pie pancake but nobody wanted to share with me, so we got the usual chocolate marble pancake instead. Now this I give 5 stars! 1108811088110881108811088
Moist pancake with choco swirls, topped with a dallop of peanut butter and a scoop of creamed butter, plus syrup. This is my choice of pancake since I was a kid. I try their other variants once in a while but nothing compares to this one. First love never dies!

My ultimate go-to place and the reason I haven't set foot inside ihop. SERIOUSLY the best food EVER and I am openly judging you if you haven't gone in and enjoyed pretty much everything.

-1 star because they told me they couldn't serve me pancakes the other day. Malaaaaabo. BUT HOARD THE SPAGHETTI SAUCE LIKE IT'S 1999. And the tacos. And the pan-fried chicken with the awesomest gravy this side of the universe. (Clearly I am a House Specials Set girl.) OH and if you figure out how that amazing whipped butter is made, lets talk.

Had brunch earlier at Pancake House, Rob Magnolia.

Decided to try their Carbonara and it was 128562128562128562128562128562 horrible. The pasta is like the one used in Pancit Canton! ❌❌❌
Very very disappointing. I just wasted 250-280 pesos (forgot the price).
Good thing their pancakes was still delish and fluffy! 3 stars for that! 128527

A few nights ago I asked my brother if he had tasted cookie butter, he said 'yeah, it's delicious but I won't spend a lot of money for that, I's rather spend it on Nutella' so I wondered why a lot are raving about it but I held back in buying a whole jar because I trust my brother's taste buds.

Now I know why and I think this cookie butter craze is just overrated 128586

I went to the Pancake House to try their cookie butter pancake(Php258) just to get this curiosity over with.

So they served me a stack of pancake with layers of cookie butter in between pancakes then topped with a dollop of cookie butter, sprinkled with caster sugar, corn flakes and grounded walnut with cinnamon. Looks really good!

I initially tasted the cookie butter, at first I was at a lost at what it tastes like, parang ha? Ano 'to? I took a second dollop and my taste buds led me back to my kindergarten years when I had marie biscuits as my baon. A-ha!!! That's what it tastes like. Sorry to say I never liked marie biscuits, it makes me gag 128586 good move I never bought an expensive jar of cookie butter.

Nevertheless I still love Pancake House' pancakes, I just poured maple syrup all over my pancake to drown the cookie butter taste hahaha 128541 the cornflakes and cinnamon walnuts are to die for!

And like my brother, I'd rather spend my money on Nutella 128523

I remember the red velvet pancakes like it was yesterday. Now, there's the speculoos cookie butter pancake..Good old Pancake house is a sunday breakfast favorite in my family and it's a plus that they have 'featured' pancakes sometimes.I don't think I've tasted anything i didn't like here which is a good thing.

Decided to eat merienda here because I have been seeing a lot of ig photos of a certain cookie butter pancake saying that this is of course made with The trader joe's speculoos cookie butter . Speculoos is overpriced here in the phils. Luckily, this pancake is about 200 something pesos, cheaper than a bottle of speculoos cookie butter. Hehe.

The pancake is good. Even better with the cookie butter twist. If you're a cookie butter fan, you'll love this. But i suggest still putting a little maple syrup and ditching the light ice cream shaped butter that normally is served on top of your pancake. But should you want something deadly, go ahead and slather that white butter onto your cookie butter pancake, at your own risk.

My sweet pancakes were paired with one of my favorite sides, country sausages. Yum!

Also had some clubhouse sandwich which was equally good as well.

It was a great afternoon indeed! We had to walk through the whole mall and shop to burn off the caloric feast we had.

Cookie Butter Pancake Tower!

I have been aiming to eat at Pancake House ever since I found that they have Speculoos Pancakes. Why? Because I'm one of the caged people who have not tried the much raved cookie butter spread so I thought this is a good chance for introduction.

The pancakes per se have the usual fluffy, buttermilk goodness Pancake House is known for. Add the cookie butter, a dollop of butter and maple syrup. Deym! I reached paradise. Haha. The combination is all so good. Even though the stack consists of 5 pancakes, I was able to finish them at once. Nyaha. Gutom lang?? But seriously, I enjoyed it very much. I didn't reach the umay level I had with their Red Velvet Pancakes.

As for the cookie butter, uhm, let's just say I expected too much. The spread is yummy but it's not something I'd crazed over.

If it wasn't merienda, I'd order their House Special Set - taco, spaghetti and pan-fried chicken. But it was meriend so I split with Mama, we got their BLT and banana walnut caramel waffle.

I just love everything about Pancake House. I love their waffles, pan-fried chicken, pasta and their set meals. Thinking about it makes me have a craving for it!
