After my son feast day activity last Friday afternoon, my son and I passed by at Pao Pao Xiao Chi and Tea Bar. Located at 90 Rosa Alvero St. Corner Katipunan Ave Loyola Heights QC.

I'm always curious about this tea bar so that time I decided to check it out. Aside from milktea they offer rice bowls too. Tried their spicy squid rings cost 85 pesos. Not bad. They have wifi too and that place is near and not crowded. Staffs are accommodating.

Forgot to take a picture but here's our experience

We ordered spicy chicken and spicy squid..

The spicy chicken didn't taste like chicken.. It tasted like kikiam lol! The sauce was so so.. I don't get the powder that you can sprinkle on top.. The seaweed didn't taste like seaweed.. The orange didn't taste like orange.. Everything just tastes like salt or vetsin..

The spicy squid tasted like squidballs that you normally buy "tuhog-tuhog" style.. It also came with the usual sauce which i guess is a mixture of hoisin and other ingredients.. I think the taste is because of the oil that they use.. The only positive thing which made me give another star is the service.. It's quite fast!

Aside from Moonleaf, this is the nearest milk tea shop from Cca so we used to spend most of our break here. It does not only have drinks but snacks as well, mostly dumplings. For the drinks, I always get a Wintermelon Tea with Rock Salt and Cheese. There's really nothing special about their rock salt and cheese but I still recommend it and their fruits teas especially Strawberry and Blueberry. If you're not into milk teas they have choices to choose from. For the snacks, I usually order for Cheesy Bacon Potatoes (yes potatoes again potatoes everyday lol) it's basically marble potatoes with lots of melted cheese and bacon bits 128523 And Fish Tofu and Chicken Chops (with seaweed powder) are good too! Affordable price, quick service, friendly staff and clean toilet lol ✅ 128540

When you go here, ring me up cause I live in the same building. HAHAHAHA anyway :))

I have always loved their Taro Milk drink. Reminds me of the Taro pie I used to order from Mcdo. I tried ordering milk tea here once but blehh. Hmm well I'll make an exception with the Cookie Milk Tea. My sister hated the strong tea taste but I liked it 128521 but to be safe stick to their Taro Milk. Food is so-so, service another so-so BUT they have free wi-fi so yay! 128522 Happy me haha!

For a quick fix to milk tea cravings, Pao Pao is the take-out place to be. It's not a surprise to find this small space almost packed with students since Pao Pao has free Wi-fi, outlets, and meal menu.

Their best seller (a chicken meal) isn't good. Their green tea with rock salt and cheese is alright though.
