I love Matcha. Pero hindi yung sobrang pait na, hardcore na yun ganun.

Anyways, sarap nung matcha nila kasi it's not bitter.

And the chocolate is always goood.

I said I won't try this because it seems overpriced but here I am. I ordered matcha mille crepe and it was just okay -tasty, creamy - but the texture gives me an impression that I'm like eating foam. The small cup of americano coffee is not anything special. Therefore I still conclude that Paper Moon is just overpriced. 128528

We didn't get the Mille Crepes since there was no flavor that I liked so we opted for their Belgian Checkered cake, and it was a great decision because the cake was devine. Super delicious, not too sweet, but really chocolatey.

Was in the mood for crepes so finally decided to try Paper Moon today, as was recommended by Looloo.

Well, I have to say I was not impressed. 128529 I picked the basic crepe, since I always pick the basic offerings of places I try for the first time--- think of it as benchmarking. I found the crepe cake so-so. Nothing WOW, really. Coffee here also tasted mediocre (I had Americano, and didn't add milk nor sugar so I could taste the coffee itself).

I enjoyed the crepe in the sense that it was not too sweet, and had just the right layers of creaminess in-between. But yeah, nothing wow.

I consider the price to be on the pricey end, especially considering that it was lacking in taste, fluffiness and presentation.

However, I was very impressed with the attentive staff, who even offered recommendations on my order (since it's my first time here) and their current promos.

Paper Moon is the cake boutique and cafe that offers the heavenly creation of Tokyo's Grand Dame of specialty cakes.

Last Thursday finally got to try Paper Moon Cafe as hubby was at SM Megamall and told him that before he goes home , drop by at Papermoon Cafe and buy me some Oroginal Mille Crepe cake, it cost around 210 pesos for slice of cake, the tasted was good and I liked it but for the price , I find it expensive

Trying out Paper Moon's Original Mille Crepe Cake, a very soft perfectly layered thin crepes with tasty creme fillings in between each layer that slowly melts into your mouth with every bite.

It was a bit pricey for me. 225 php for one slice, must be very difficult to create. Chachi L and i shared this piece just to try it out of curiosity. They also have chocolate, mango, strawberry and their newest one the matcha flavour, which i am curious to try. Could have been better if they served it with a real plate instead of a paper box plate. Also, wish their location was not at the center of the aisle but a real store for a better chill/catch up time experience as it's a bit noisy since we were in an open space.

Oh yeah. I've been in the vicinity of SM Megamall all the time. It was only yesterday when I finally get to try this slice of crepe cake. Prior to that, we are looking for dessert place, its one of the choices that me & my friend have it mind. Actually more of Christine P's sweet cravings. So we initially , we dine at St Marc's. After hours of chit chats and few walks, we pass by Papermoon. And you're right.. We agreed 128522

It all happens so fast. We ordered a single slice of Original Mille Crepe (P220), but there's a promo a cake + americano coffee for P260. So we have the one with coffee, which is for me.

The Original Mille Crepe, has a very classic taste. Not overpowering and I think its yummy.. Not that sweet and melts in your mouth. So good with the Amerikano coffee that I got. Yes, its ok but I still had reservations for the price. I guess its kinda pricey, coz I was able to taste this kind of cake in Subspace.. Its almost the same yet at a very reasonable & cheaper price128522

But then again, its good! I just hope thatI was able to taste the matcha flavor.

Matcha. This Japanese ingredient is incapable of doing anything wrong. Tea, ice cream, cake, soap, chocolates like Royce' and KitKat, and now in mille crepe! Paper Moon's newest offering doesn't have that bitter aftertaste of an oversteeped tea nor the diabetes-inducing sweetness of hotel desserts. Urbane yet delicate is the best description I have for it at this moment. Best taken with black brewed coffee.

Checkerboard Cake 150.00 and Iced Americano 120.00.

The Mille Crepe of Paper Moon is what's most popular here. I admit that I've tasted better. So I was really happy I liked their checkerboard cake. It was a very light cake, with crème in between the layers. The ganache was also not too sweet. The sugarless Americano went really well with the cake.

I just don't like that the cake was served on a box. Felt like I was eating in a cheap fast food place. Sayang. I've eaten in their Glorietta branch and their food come in real plates. Service was also lacking here. My son asked for a glass of water and literally just served 1 glass and didn't bother to ask if everyone else on our table wanted one too.

This branch, although located in an open area in the mall, wasn't crowded and wasn't too noisy.

I haven't really gone back to any of their branches since I wasn't too happy with their crepe. But this cake is really good that I'll definitely revisit and am willing to try even their savory items in a branch nearer to my place.

Thanks Julie J for the reco128522

Paper Moon Cafe's set-up is trendy casual and contemporary. We've been eyeing this cafe since we saw them at TriNoma so we decided to splurge on dessert.

They have an assortment of flavor for their mille crepe cakes. Other than the original they had mango and chocolate. My option was to have a slice of their best seller flavor.

It was surprisingly good. In essence, it's a twenty-layer crepe cake. Each layer feels like it melts in your mouth. It was great how my fork just went through the slice like cutting butter. The vanilla custard was unsweetened so maybe it's a good thing for those who are watching their sugar intake.

Overall, I love crepes and think this is a dainty, well made product, but it is expensive. It's something we won't eat at every week but someplace we'd come back to when we feel like splurging a little more.

I can say that its worth a try for this simple yet delicious cake. They also serve sandwiches, salads, quiche, shortcake, macaroons and cookies. The staff are very good service as well.

Four photos, four different visits. If you are a dyed-in-the-wool fan of strawberries and cream, you probably have heard about Paper Moon Café by now. Just have the cold service water with the desserts. Haven't tried their drinks. With the quality of their desserts, one doesn't need coffee or tea. 128521

Not very impressed with their mille crepe. And that thing was too expensive for something that was not so memorable for us. 128532

They say that this is one of the must try dessert places. I tried it and liked it.

The mango mille crepe was good. Layers of crepe with cream and mangoes in between. The sweetness is just right so there is no "suya factor". Goes well with coffee.

Crepe Cake? Yes please! These crepe cakes are quite expensive but definitely worth every peso (and the calories). My mother-in-law likes it a bit frozen, so its allegedly less sweeter, and she likes eating it per layer of crepe. I, on the other hand, like eating all crepe layers at a single slice and prefer it at slightly below room temperature. I don't get to taste the filling in between the crepe layers if it's frozen. I don't find it too sweet; it's just right.

We've only tried the vanilla flavor and we cannot wait to try their other flavors. 128151

I've always liked Crepe Cake and this Strawberry Mille Crepe from Paper Moon did not disappoint 128523 Soft layers of crepe with pastry/whipped Creme and strawberry filling in between bites....ah... Heavenly! Oh and it has a brûléed top layer too 128522 I love that it's not too sweet yet still satisfies my dessert craving.

It doesn't come cheap though 128547 a slice will set you back 225, a mini cake 350, medium cake 1,400 & a whopping 2k for the large cake.
