Had a day tour here during our Samal tour. Entrance fee is 200php each. The resort is big. And the beach is crystal clear with fine sand. We took our lunch here and the food is great. The price is reasonable as the serving is for sharing. What I find expensive is the buko shake in a shell which costs 160php. While the buko juice is only 30php Haha Spent total of php1800+ for 5pax. And ohhh their chicken bbq is delicious!!!!
Their restaurant is big. Lots of tables and chairs. They also have an acoustic band which btw.. the singers were super great. At first we thought they were playing CD etc but we were surprised that its live. Kudos to that band. Made our stay there really relaxing.
The staffs were nice and attentive. They also have different games which you can rent like human-sized chess, billiards, table tennis etc. Also, noticed during our stay that there were 2 people who kept on cleaning the shore from falling leaves. If you just want to relax and take time to swim, choose this place. 10084

Davao is a big city. The city proper is at Davao del Sur but going to Davao del norte is not too far too. Samal Island is part of Davao del Norte and it only took a 5-8minute boat ride crossing the Davao Gulf.

Samal is also a big island. For the past couple of years, so many resorts started popping up may it be for daytrip or overnight. Different facilities and accomodation types are available.

There may be a lot of new resorts but we always come back to the classic--Paradise Island. I always like to say I grew up here and when I went to manila to study, this is one of the places that I miss most. Beaches in manila is not this easy to find and accessible. Also given that I don't have a car in Manila. :)

Paradise has a lot of water activities: banana boat, jetski and a lot more. They often update their facilities to be able to catch up with the latest trends, but for food, it will always be classic. The one dish that we never forget to order is their kinilaw. 128077

We use to come here early in the morning in time for breakfast. But today, we came here a little later since our guests have free breakfast buffet from the hotel.

Good that we didn't plan to swim today because it's low tide. We're just here to breathe fresh air with good food, good view and good company. 128522

With a boat fare of just Php 15 and an entrance fee of Php 200, you're in for a day of relaxation and adventure. Paradise Island offers different kinds of water adventure like Aqua Bike, Banana Boat, Jet Ski and the like. And their staff are really accommodating. Their food is great and you have a lot of choices to choose from and you don't wanna miss that 10 AM - 12 PM harana during meal. When you come to Davao, visit Paradise Island too. They have much more to offer 127796127821127817127946🏻

This is our go-to beach! The dock is around 8min away from our house and boat ride, which costs 15pesos per person, l is around 5minutes from davao to samal island! No hassle at all!

Entrance fee is 200pesos per person with 50pesos consumable stub, which you can use for food, activities or rentals of kayaks etc. (although this summer, they decided to remove it, but they usually have this on regular non-peak season)

I went there with my friends and luckily it was high tide, we enjoyed swimming. We also did not bother to bring in snacks or any food. There's a restaurant within the resort which serves fresh fruits and seafood! 128522

We also tried the Banana Boat. We had fun and we are proud to say that we did not fall! We asked the jetski guy to make it more extreme for us to experience the fall, but he had problems with his jetski, it was eating a lot of trash and sea plants daw. Too bad! But still, we had lots of fun! 128516

I have no idea why my parents chose this place but I would personally just go to Blue Jazz which is right next to this resort. hahaha!

Anyway, it was okay here. The rooms are nice and clean! They always put flowers everywhere (even in the toilet) haha!

White sand, clean water and a fun aviary!

Their resto serves so slow though. Also there arent any outlets in the rooms. Only one in the bathroom so none of us could charge properly. :/

DONT TAKE THAT ISLAND TOUR PACKAGE!!! It is not worth it AT ALL! The batcave and maybe the falls are fine but you could live without seeing them haha

They have a pingpong tables, giant chess and billiards here so thats fun if youre bored.

As for snorkelling, there are a lot of those white fishes but none of the really fun and colored ones. Or maybe I haven't gone that far yet... HAHAHA!

Yeah, the sand was white and the food was great too. Great serving. Shower was clean. However, I was really looking for a white sand beach that would put me closer to well nature and a place that is peaceful, relaxing and just with a fantastic view. 128522127946

This one failed. It was too commercialized. You wont see the long stretch of the beach or the mountains/trees 127796127794 surrounding the island because the roof the covers practically the whole resort blocks everything. The roofed tabled and chairs were too near the water! Only 5feet! 128555

So naahhh, definitely wont be back here if ever I get to visit Davao again.

This small place is incredible. Just 10-15mins away from the city. You can go here every day if you're in Davao. They have their own little boats that will take you to the resort for only P13/head or P150 for a special trip. Day trip entrance to the resort is P200 while the overnight entrance fee is between P300-500. I forgot.

Unfortunately, it rained when we went. But you can definitely see how beautiful the place is despite the rain.

Crystal Clear waters, fine white sand, courteous staff, different activities available, affordable food.

We only stayed for a few hours because I still had my flight later that day. Siningit na lang to kasi wala pa ko napuntahan masyado since I got to Davao. Maybe on my next trip I could try staying overnight para mas sulit.

I'm not in Davao recently. I would just like to make a review of some of the places I've been too on my free time for looloo's sake. Please don't judge. Lol.128514

I am that kind of person who loves to spend my vacation in beaches. I make it to a point that I visit a legit beach at least once a year.

For Paradise Island Resort, it's not far from Davao's city proper. There would be a terminal where you would ride a boat for 5-10 minutes then you go down to this beautiful place. Clear waters, white sand, and, excellent fresh food. It also has a band so it's really a nice place to relax.128522

When I was younger, we came here every sunday for fresh air, swimming and especially bonding time. I love how the place improved, before, It was just bare--like in my photo. Hahaha. I'm so small. LOL128118

It's not a hassle coming to Paradise. It's like a 10-15minute boat ride from Davao City Proper.
