Everyone loves a home-cooked meal. But you know what i love most...a joint that makes home-cooked meals at an affordable price. I am talking about another hole-in-the-wall joint i visited last week.
Parikit Inasal is located in Sto Niño, right in front of the church and a couple of steps away from Kapitan Moi.
They specialise in Filipino Food. From the classic tapsilog, sizzling and grilled treats, and pancit.
We had breakfast Friday morning. One dozen of Lucban longganisa, garlic rice and coffee. The longganisa is tasty, garlicky and best dipped in vinegar. The garlic rice is good too, they know how to rice, perfect texture (maligat in the vernacular). And the food is served hot! Yes, everything is made to order.
We were satisfied with our meal and decided to swing by for dinner the same day.
Grilled Tuna (300 grams) The serving size is good for sharing and it is a steal at Php 210. The fish is grilled to perfection. Moist and best paired with soy sauce x calamansi x labuyo dip.
Isaw. I dunno about you but i love isaw! I remember surviving lunch and dinner with dem skewered babies during college days. A sudden rush of nostalgia.
Oh, their WiFi is decent and the joint is air-conditioned. Not bad for a hole-in-the-wall joint, eh?

Was home around 11 and me and my friend got hungry so we decided to try something new! (Foodtrip daw) hahaha so we opted to try this small inasal place near OLA church. The place is simple just a couple of chairs and tables.. We ordered 2 orders of pecho?picho? Hahaha breast part which comes with unlimited price! Waiting time is around 10 mins. The food was okay.. The chicken is flavorful and i love the taste of their vinegar! The sad part is their chicken is quite dry? I think this is because it was already 11 in the evening an i think they only reheated the chicken.. It was such a letdown considering the taste of the chicken is comparable to jay j's! Overall it was a so so experience for me

TGIF! Went to the bank earlier in Sta. Elena Marikina then decided to eat lunch na rin nearby and really planned to dine at Parikit Inasal.
I've been hearing about this place. It's also in my facebook page and I've seen they have a lot of patrons and even some celebrities went to dine there and every time I passed by I haven't got the chance to dine and so this is the right time , Marikina Food Trip activated !
The place was located besides Our Lady of Abandoned Church and Kapitan Moy. The place was not that big and the ambience looks really like a typical Inasal place. Ordered Paa means thigh and legs rice included and it's Unli . I need to wait 15 minutes and I'm the only customer there then after that a family came up na din. The chicken was worth the wait! The chicken was good and affordable for the price of 90 pesos compare to Mang Inasal. Then they have wifi there .
The food was good but my dining experience is not that good at all because I heard the waiters arguing and it annoys me
