I live for cakes like this Mango Crunch! Just the right amount of sweetness as the riped mangoes made this baby refreshing! It's a cozy, quiet place where you can have a dose of your caffeine & sweets.

Molten brownie bites are best eaten cold imo128523 They don't have a molten center, but it is chewy and has a mix of dark and regular chocolate.

I love how in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the metro, we were able to find a dessert place that is not crowded yet very cozy and inviting. Perfect for a steady Sunday coffee chillin'!

The quaint litlle place of PAD is located just a few minutes away from Makati, not quite accessible but this is definitely a go to place if you want peace and quiet. LOL

There are a lot of dessert to choose from. Cakes to cookies, meringues to macarons, and I think they also cater breakfast, lunch and dinner.

But of course, I went here for coffee and sweets. I find their latté just OK, considering that this is not really their specialty. Along with it, I tried their Muscovado and Tequila Rose macarons. They're known for their sweets so I guess those little guys did them justice.

I heard their ultimate best seller is their Almond Rocca. Wasn't able to try it since it was not available then but I'll definitely come back for it.

After our yummy dinner at izakaya, we headed over to park avenue desserts to satisfy our sweet tooth cravings 9786
My old boss used to bring PAD New York cheesecakes to the office when there was a birthday celeb so I was kinda looking forward to that. Sayang I think you can only buy it as one whole cake. My friends got the mango crunch and the roca while I got the Oreo cheesecake.
Loser yung order ko among the 3 128517 still good but better yung sa Starbucks in IMO. The mango crunch was amazing! I guess this'll be my staple order when we go back 128522 not too sweet and the 'crunch' really blended well with the mango. The roca is like a chocolate ganache cheesecake with more cream inside. Intense! But you've to eat it right away cos it melts easily 128513
Nice, quiet place to catch up too.

Molten brownie bites, my favorite! I forgot to take a pic because I ate it already. But I will go here even if it's too far from home just to buy that brownie bites again. 128077128077128077

Another present here in our house...127876127876127876

There are so many great gifts that we have received this season... I'm trying to post as much of them as I can, we all need ideas of what gifts to give!128540 I had a hard time choosing gifts myself this year!128522 some of the gifts we received were great and I'm planning to give those as gifts next year!128513 recycling ideas!128077

This package comes from Park Avenue desserts, whose cakes I've always wanted to try... This is their molten brownie bites, reminiscent of those being sold in S&R... Pronounced dark chocolate taste with great consistency... Not crumbly!128522 I really enjoyed it! The nice container is perfect for gift giving...

Caramilk ice cream is a great addition to their awesome menu. My favorite is their asparagus, feta and sun dried tomato sandwich.

I wasn't so familiar with Park Avenue Desserts until I tried these mini cakes.127856

Almond Roca- it has a thin layer of choco cake, thicker layer of cream and covered with chocolate. It was more like a mousse so I got a bit disappointed as I'm not a fan of that type of cake. The choco was thick though (+1) but overall, it was so-so.

Mango Madness- layers of graham crust, cream and mango. Seemed like they kinda scrimped on the mango and was more generous with putting cream. Eat it really cold or else, the cream melts. 128542

Red Velvet- too dry and crumbly.

Their cakes are really pretty, but sorry, the taste did not impress me. 128528

I received this pâté from one of my favorite neighbors last Christmas. My fridge is just so full I only opened this jar today.

Its very good. Not too salty. Maybe a drizzle of olive oil (ala Cafe by the Ruins) will make it even better? Paired it with really good warm bread.

No expiration date though. Sana magtagal pa because its a really big jar and i don't think i can finish this in a month.

I haven't tried their desserts yet, which they supply to several high-end restaurants. I remember passing by here when they first opened and decided to just take a big gulp instead as the price of their tiny cakes were double than the current prevailing prices.

Perks of living near Paseo De Magallanes is the easy access to this dessert place. Last time i went here, I got the lemon meringue, which, I loved 128522 it was tarty and sweet and goes well with freshly brewed coffee 128077

Initially, I wanted to get the lemon meringue again but, since it was past 8pm already, i decided to pick the less calorie laden (i think 128513) i got one lemon square. I'm happy I just got one because it was a big square of a lemon square. 2 other people shared this treat with me. I found this one too sour, that's probably why I didn't wolf it down. It was good nonetheless...perfect to end my day 128077

More cronuts on the loose! This time, from Park Avenue Desserts. I was surprised that they have their own share of this infamous dessert. Didn't pass the chance to try them out! For 85php each, you'll get a normal sized cronut - Wildflour size. I tried their Dark Choco flavor which was more chewy than flaky. The cronut was covered with cinnamon sugar and had some pretty layers when you take a bite. It was not cut in half and no filling but the the topping was generous! The dark chocolate was thick and rich! You can taste the strong chocolate flavor without an overload of sweetness. I just wish that the cronut was a little more flaky, with a little crunch.

Then I also got this flavor that was glazed with vanilla, horizontally cut into half and filled with delectable custard. The custard was thick and creamy but was not sweet at all. The size was a little smaller than the Dark Chocolate flavored one. Not too much trace of being a croissant here. It was more bread like.

So far, Bronuts is on top of my list followed by WildFlour and then this 128521

While having a laid back day, we went out to get some sweets. We went to Paseo de Magallanes since I wanted to try the crepes of Cafe Breton. Then we saw Park Ave Desserts. It has been there ever since but we have not been paying attention. We gave it a shot.

We went inside and the sweet smell of freshly baked goodies welcomed us! The store was small - about 3 sets of tables with chairs, but was proud with sweet offerings! Pralines, macarons, cakes, cheesecakes, tarts, pies, bread, cronuts (yes cronuts!) and many many more! Oh wow!

We got their Macarons and hubby got some Ensaymada to go for his office friends.

Their Macarons were 100841008410084️ they were sweet, but not as sweet as Chez Karine's, and were soft to the bite. They were generously filled too! Tried the Pistachio, Salted Caramel and Dark Chocolate flavors. Omg! Soooo good! I liked the Salted Caramel most - sweet buttery caramel with bits of salt! Yay!

For 50php each, they're the best I've had so far. Don't get me wrong - I've only tried Chez Karine's, Tous Les Jours and the one from Mercato Centrale.

Yay! Coming back really soon to try some other good stuff! 12807612807999969786

The Inception-like client call continued here after lunch at Dayrit's next door (see preceding review)

Coffee was ok. A bit too weak by my standards.

Dessert: A choco brownie cake, Dulce de leche cheesecake and apple pie.

The verdict.

Choco brownie cake: Hard like a brownie but melts in your mouth with a velvety smooth finish. Whipped choco cream on top is a plus.

Dulce de leche Cheesecake: Very cheesy cheesecake. Dulce de leche top was a bit too sweet that it will give you diabetes just by looking at it / smelling it.

Apple Pie: Cinammon apple filling was oozing the moment you cut through the crust. Nice and chunky with apple bits. Crust is a bit too soft compared to other apple pies.

Budget?: Php 175 EACH. Good thing client still had unused entertainment expenses with his office.

No photo because we were too engrossed in talking shop.

Brookie or cookies + brownies
Crotap or Croissant + otap

Those are the things I've got to try here. The two is so good for me.

I like how moist the brookie is. Imagine chunky cookie and moist brownies together? 128523128523128523128523128523

Crotap's flavor is quite cinnamon-ish but I like it. The cinnamon is not that string for errrbody's taste. Crispy but not too much.

This is just a pasalubong so yeah! I need to go here soonest!!! 128525
